fagin1982: Funny everyone now is a Consultant on writing Biz Plan and direct people to thr site just to increase traffic on their blogs ..Please If you can't honestly share your ideas on forum and want everyone of us to vist you page ,please bounceShebi I talk am for another thread and I started getting abuses from the people concerned. Nigerians know how to turn every opportunity into an avenue for profiteering from others. There was a time it was VISA lottery. Then it was foreign university admissions. Thank God the United States government curtailed the madness that follows the visa lottery applications by disqualifying Nigeria. Tomorrow they will come with another thing. |
sportfeva: YouWin3 has started and the questions seems more technical from previous ones. The questions are just the same as they have always been my brother. But I like your packaging. You tight! |
All these randy goats in the legislature: what laws are they making? |
Lilimax: Kelechi is still a minor at 17years hence requires some level of guidanceSuch guidance can only come from his professional fathers (his coaches) and not his biological father. There is a difference between the two. |
Pipsland78: You will soon laugh in super falcons. And apart from Messi who was a confirmed football prodigy whose entire family were moved from Argentina to Spain on a long term contract, where did these other players start from? |
His father is a first-class FOOL. Does he want to kill his son's career? Can't people learn from Neymar who incidentally also played at U-17 level? |
I will not be surprised if the site crashes at some point. The level of awareness now seems unprecedented. |
Which is better? A country with a docile population OR A country with a president that openly questioned the relationship between the HIV virus and the development of AIDS, and almost making his countrymen and women endangered species? |
Nextworldnx: Please where do we paste our quotation on the site. Based on the questions am seeing i cant seem to find a place where the asked for our quotation, except for the exact amount we would be needing to execute our biz.I am not aware that it is now possible to start filling any form yet. The President is yet to launch it. Where are you seeing the questions? |
Farmafric: Tip 3. Existing businesses has better chance than non existing. This is a huge lie. Stop deceiving people. Go and look at the list of people who won and compare the percentage of new and existing businesses. |
born_to_be_gr8t: This is another reason to be a cultist, I remember my years in LASU.that lecturer go fu*k fireForget that fake life. All cultists are cowards which is why they use group to cover themselves. Those of us who were non-aligned still survived and here we are. No cultist took my girlfriend then, and I for no even allow am. My village boys for Niger Delta are even worse than cultists and it would not have taken me a thing to hire them for war if need be. |
The roads are all tarred! OP, you dey smoke ganja abi wetin? |
Polio: Serves the fuc...ker rightNo, that leg should be infected and the mofo made to stay in a dingy cell until the untreated wound turns into a festering sore. He needs to die a slow and painful death. |
gidigbi: With due respect sir, I believe your calculation is not correct. The duty is to be raised to 35% and another 35% added for levies, making a total of 70%. So when I said a further 50% is to be added, I meant 50% extra duty added to the existing 20%, not 50% of 20%. The proposed increase is to raise duty payable on an imported vehicle from 20% to 70%. Me sef do Maths for school o! Hope we are clear on this now. |
theoctopus: I have been reading this thread from page one. You cant help but laugh at the gross ignorance on display. Is thia how an average Nigerian thinks? wow!A recent report stated that the trade balance in Nigeria shows that the import to export ratio stood at 92% to 8%. This shows how much our taste for foreign goods has warped our economy. So while you are correct, it must be stated that if a country has so many people living below the poverty line and not making much effort in addressing this, then there is a disconnect. Furthermore, a good policy can be implemented at the wrong time. Presently, Innoson's cars are not less expensive than the average imported car and the reason is not far-fetched. Car assembly and manufacturing are heavily dependent on power. You cannot expect cars made or assembled in Nigeria to be cheaper because our cost of production and business environment is extremely unfavourable to businesses. So, good policy, wrong timing is my verdict. |
All people need to do is to buy cars abroad and ship them down here, pay the new customs duty and their cars are through. I do not think that a new Camry will now cost N20m. The present duty is 20%. The increase is by about 50%, which means that if you pay N300,000 duty on a 2002 or 2003 model car, you end up paying 300,000 X 3.5 = N1.05m on duty. So assuming you bought a car for N1.2million equivalent, the cost of your car stays the same but your duty has increased by about N700,000. So a car that will cost N1.5m with the old duty will now cost N2.2m. There will be an increase but it will not be as alarmist as the OP is making it sound. Besides the 2 houses still have to ratify this so there is opportunity for lobby groups to do their job before the policy is passed. |
kel4soft: Please this should be sent to FP to discuss exhaustively. That judge needs a brain surgery. You are obviously not in tune with what the law says about robbery committed with a firearm. The laws of Nigeria recommend that armed robbery be punished by death. That is why Ishola Oyenusi, Babatunde Folorunsho, Sub. Lt. Oyazimo, Lawrence Anini, Monday Osunbor, ASP George Iyamu and all the others who have been caught and tried for armed robbery were all made to face the firing squad. Go and get acquainted with the law before coming here to dish out your ignorance. |
You are talking about Nigeria's best left winger ever, whose playing career was ruined because he had to play the 1998 World Cup qualifiers with pain killing injections covering up a bad knee injury, and who is yet to receive the houses promised them in 1994 by Abacha. The man is angry. Una no dey see am? |
blink182: leave us alone na, which kind wahala be this. Go phuck or do something else that amuses you ah ah, we no want your wahala here. Are you so lonely? Haba! If you no talk you go die?I have not even started getting on your case yet. If e dey pain you say my sister win grant money, better carry all this big Engris wey u dey hammer here go put am for ya proposal! |
utimatedes: You don't have to give people wrong advice. For the fact that your sister write on her own and won doesn't mean that everyone is as brilliant as yours. Many people go to school, study the same course, the same teaching etc and still fail.Mr Utibe, You go on and on about how you are invited to speak about YouWIN in one church or one place or the other. The fact that you are a YouWIN 1 awardee does not confer on you the right of authority or expertise because 1,199 people like you also won. What is so special about YOU that the other 1,199 that won along with you do not have? Did the YouWIN committee declare your proposal as the BEST? You won the YouWIN award. But that does not make you an expert in any way especially when there are thousands of people who won the same award and are very quiet about it. You won because God smiled on you, not because you were the best. You don't know the criteria that the selection committee uses. NO ONE HAS THE POWER OR THE AUTHORITY TO CLAIM TO BE A YOUWIN EXPERT. How did all this start? Someone said the 1st trench is 10%. I countered it based on facts that I know from my sister and others who I know that won the award that the 1st trench given in YouWIN 2 was 20%. You even went ahead to challenge me by asking whether I was a winner of YouWIN (arrogance at work), or whether I wrote a proposal for anyone in YouWIN 2. I believe I gave you my answer. Then Blink or whatever his name is did what he knows to do best: putting his nose where it does not belong. Does this not tell you one thing? As far as YouWIN selection criteria are concerned, no one has the keys to door. So don't come here posing as some expert because you are not. Like I said, you only won the award because God showed you mercy. So live off the award quietly and climb down from your high horse. |
wheesin: It is a clear violation of my rights.. I have d rights to put on any cloth i buy... So fvck offYou still get mouth and to talk. You get luck say them no design your face for you with the golf club. In a country where boko haram terrorists have used camo to wreck havoc, you still ask why a civilian should wear camo shorts? |
blink182: This is the reason I've never liked you. If you have real life experience to share then do so and stop being a biatch. No one has claimed he's a pro here, we've been making our contributions to help each other right from the very beginning until you came. If there's anyone claiming to be a pro here, it is you. Whatever anyone else has to say is rubbish.Go and hang yourself by the scrotum. LOSER! |
Well, I have made at least $3,000 on oDesk and currently have a running contract of over $10,000 which I have been doing for a year now. The truth is that oDesk's policy on Fixed Jobs which are not escrowed makes it very hard to get good jobs as you are stuck with the hourly jobs where employers prefer to hire Indians and other nationalities that bid prices that are akin to slave wages. You can get one job and then the jobs dry up for months on end. That is how it is. The enemies of Nigerians on oDesk are people from some of these Asian countries who do not mind collecting $2 an hour, and the employers who will put affordability over quality. You also have to deal with a lot of racism as you will frequently meet people who will tell you flat they will not hire Nigerians because they are scammers! |
The best thing that will happen to all of you is to stop listening to these self proclaimed YouWIN experts. I encouraged my sister to apply and she never consulted nobody. She wrote her proposal herself and she was awarded. Simply pay attention to your financials. Your business must be shown to be: a) Viable and capable of generating the financial milestones. b) Following from (a), be able to meet the employment milestones. c) It must be demonstrated that you will be able to make some financial input of your own into the business. d) You must be able to show good record keeping and ability to keep good accounts. From here on, add the element of prayer and anything you know you must do spiritually to make your proposal succeed. This is very important. Put all this in practice and pray for the best. You must know that to be one of the best 1,200 out of millions of applicants goes beyond some of all this advice we give here. |
OP, how much you don make for oDesk? |
blink182: oya order your boys to shoot me general stagger because that's what you are good at.Answering you is a waste of my time. I rest my case and you can have the last word if you like. |
naijaguy77: Isn't Karu in Nassarawa state not Abuja, kinda like Agbara is in Ogun state, not Lagos? No dey talk wetin you no know. Karu is in the FCT. |
ifyalways: Na wao.The truth is that govt always gives several notives but our people are stubborn. Look at the illegal market at Abali Park in PH that was demolished by Rotimi Amaechi because of street urchins and thugs who used to rob people and snatch bags there. Everybody came back after three months and the place is thriving again. |
blink182: shut it and move on. A good plan is a good plan, it doesn't matter if the writer is looking for 1m or 10m.Next time you be careful how you address people. I was merely correcting a wrong impression and you jumped in with a reckless statement when you were not the subject of the correction. Drinking panadol on another person's headache. |
blink182: stagger has always been ignorant in his comments. If you knew him from business section, you won't even bother to reply him.If you think I just come here to make noise, you are an idiot! My sister won more than N9m and two of my relations were awardees as well. You think I just do empty talk? I have no time for animals like you. Awardees DO NOT determine how much they are given in tranches, and the first trench my sister got was 20%. I know because she showed me the contract, complete with the financial and employment milestones she needs to complete. |
utimatedes: You are not going to be given everything at once. You would get 10% first. You are not expected to even open office with your first tranche, maybe you can use it to get license, fee and other expenses until when your 2nd tranche comes. You you are the one that would chose the interval or how the money should be disbursed, you can decide to ask for 7m in the 2nd tranche.Don't give false info. It is the YouWIN committee that determines what percentage you are given as first tranche and what percentage is given in other tranches. The candidate does not determine this. |
Mr shroud: I'm sympathetic to this woman, having once experienced what women married to some of this so called Rich, powerful politicians go through. How can someone usurp another woman's marriage and have it well with her? You need to search yourself well before posting such comments here. |
