Women are only attracted to men who can give them security. Security means money in this country we live in. Take it or leave it. Which one be physically attracted to him and mentally attracted to you? Nonsense!
Go and ask any woman, even the married ones. Every married woman wants to see her husband deferred to by other men and economic power is what brings that about. I was in a wedding last year when a sitting senator walked in. All the guys around me were bowing and shaking him and hailing him and he was swaggering like a demi god.
Of course me, I no send. I shook hands with him normally and he lingered the handshake. I could see he was sizing me up to know who this fellow that shook him differently was. I have also been in a village to celebrate the new yam festival with one of my chairmen who has an imposing mansion. Even the governor of that state who attended was overheard asking one of his aides who owned the house in question; that he wanted to meet the man.
Guys forget love o. No love without money to service it. |

MrOjay1: Last friday evening, my friend in the hood called me on phone to inform me of a job opening in an ongoing construction site somewhere around Agbara (Lagos).
He told me the pay is 2,300 per day depending on if you were able to finish the day's job.
I told him i was interested (no choice for a broke man) and asked him when we are to leave for the place. He said we'll leave for Agbara the next day early in the morning to get there on time and start with others.
'No wahala', I said.
We set off the next morning and got there before 7 or thereabouts. When the supervisor saw me said, 'oboy as you dey lenge lenge (slim) like this, you sure say you go fit do this kind work so??'
I told him i could. Shey no be my mates dey do am?
I started the work which was carrying mixed concrete and sand up into the second floor of the building.
The work no easy o. I wan die true to God but i just chinned up and continued. I worked like this till afternoon.
My body was telling me to stop but i continued being that i wanted my full pay for the day then something happened.
As i was climbing up the scaffolded stairs, my limbs had become weak and my eyes dazed, i had no energy left again to climb up to the second floor so while trying to muster up energy as i climbed, I mis-stepped my footings and was about falling off the stairs down to the ground laden with bamboo, nails, stones and co far below but was saved by the hand of another worker coming up the stairs behind me. He had already noticed my fatigue and signs of faint feeling.
My headpan had already crashed down the ground.
I wonder what would have happened to me. Probably would have died.
The supervisor heard of it and was furious, lambasting me saying,' shebi i tell you say you no fit do this work? Na so you for put me for trouble.Oya dey go house now now, he said as he put his hands in his pocket and brought out 1400 as my payment.
I protested and demanded my full payment but he wasn't listening and was threatening to call the police.
I left the place, went home and used half the money to treat the sprain and pains i was feeling all over my body. Thank God for your life oo. You for just die like that. Even if you made it to the end of the day, you would not have been able to step out of your house the next day. |

MelesZanawi: Lawrence Agada, an Assistant Pastor in Christ Embassy with the Lagos Sheraton Hotels and Towers, donated cash and gifts worth N39 million to the Church. He bought a 250KVA generator valued at N4.4 million, and another 27KVA generator for NI.5 million and turned them over to a satellite arm of the church.
Earlier, he had provided N6 million for the refurbishment of the branch, N1 million for the purchase of plastic seats for the headquarters and contributed another N1million to Oyakhilome’s crusade tagged Night Of Bliss. Agada also gave N400,000 to his pastor, who needed money for a trip to Australia.
Happy that Agada had obeyed the teaching on seed sowing, Oyakhilome wrote a personal letter to commend the cheerful giver. “May God, who gives seed to the sower and bread for eating, multiply your seeds in Jesus name,” wrote the preacher.
But Jesus did not multiply Agada’s seeds. Instead, the giver became a guest of the police when his employers discovered that he had stolen from them to give to Christ Embassy. Agada’s employers demanded a refund of the stolen sum. However, Christ Embassy issued a statement admitting that Agada made donations but shamelessly refused to make the desired refund. God can never be mocked. Tithes paid from illegal proceeds will attract a curse. Haggai 1 verse 9 part b says, "what you brought home, I the Lord blew away..." You can decieve a man or a pastor, but you can never deceive the Omniscient. Remember God rejected the sacrifices of Cain and Saul? You cannot bribe God. See what God said in Isaiah 1: 1 The vision concerning Judah and Jerusalem that Isaiah son of Amoz saw during the reigns of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah. A Rebellious Nation 2 Hear me, you heavens! Listen, earth! For the Lord has spoken: “I reared children and brought them up, but they have rebelled against me. 3 The ox knows its master, the donkey its owner’s manger, but Israel does not know, my people do not understand.” 4 Woe to the sinful nation, a people whose guilt is great, a brood of evildoers, children given to corruption! They have forsaken the Lord; they have spurned the Holy One of Israel and turned their backs on him. 5 Why should you be beaten anymore? Why do you persist in rebellion? Your whole head is injured, your whole heart afflicted. 6 From the sole of your foot to the top of your head there is no soundness— only wounds and welts and open sores, not cleansed or bandaged or soothed with olive oil. 7 Your country is desolate, your cities burned with fire; your fields are being stripped by foreigners right before you, laid waste as when overthrown by strangers. 8 Daughter Zion is left like a shelter in a vineyard, like a hut in a cucumber field, like a city under siege. 9 Unless the Lord Almighty had left us some survivors, we would have become like Sodom, we would have been like Gomorrah. 10 Hear the word of the Lord, you rulers of Sodom; listen to the instruction of our God, you people of Gomorrah! 11 “The multitude of your sacrifices— what are they to me?” says the Lord. “I have more than enough of burnt offerings, of rams and the fat of fattened animals; I have no pleasure in the blood of bulls and lambs and goats. 12 When you come to appear before me, who has asked this of you, this trampling of my courts? 13 Stop bringing meaningless offerings! Your incense is detestable to me. New Moons, Sabbaths and convocations— I cannot bear your worthless assemblies. 14 Your New Moon feasts and your appointed festivals I hate with all my being. They have become a burden to me; I am weary of bearing them. 15 When you spread out your hands in prayer, I hide my eyes from you; even when you offer many prayers, I am not listening. Your hands are full of blood! 16 Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong. 17 Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed.[a] Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow. 18 “Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. 19 If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land; 20 but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword.” For the mouth of the Lord has spoken. Does the current state of Nigeria and its people not fit the description that God was talking about? |

Back in 1996, someone I know paid a tithe of N100,000 as a student. Two days later, the campus pastors came calling, requesting to know how a student like her was able to pay such money. They asked for receipts of sales, and other proof of income. It was only when they were satisfied that the source was genuine that she was allowed to testify about it.
But this was a student fellowship. In a church with membership running into hundreds of thousands or millions of people, it is impracticable to do this, although periodically the church accountants should go through statements and flag large tithe payments for periodic scrutiny. |

Bigyusluv: Hello good morning.
Late April during lockdown, my friend sent me a post, which was advertised by her mom customer in need of an accountant urgently, the job was for graduate and I'm an undergraduate, final year thou I should have graduated since 2018 but left school in my first semester 400l due to mental health issues I was facing which no one know( I can't read and comprehend as I used to anymore) got bored of reading and preparing for exams, set eyes on making money. Just too broke at that time.
I applied for the job with fate, and I was called, went for interview thrice before I was given the job. due to my experience of working as an assistant accountant in one big hotel and working as branch manager in another hotel, and not staying far I was given the job. The pay range was 35k based on my qualifications thou.
I started work first week of May, not too stressful but I'm to resume by 6am and close 6pm, daily allowance 2k and my salary ... I do make 50-60k weekly aside my daily allowance and salary.
Reason I'm thinking about quitting is, early June, on my way to work on bike, I had an accident with Keke, which the Keke man was clearly at fault for swerving without checking his side mirror, but then again, it was just the two of us (bike man and Keke man) on the road, same lane, nothing coming back or front of us, yet the accident.
I had a bruise on my hand and a kinda deep wound an inch from my ankle bone. (which haven't gone yet, used original honey to bring out the surface, thou I no longer feel pains, recently it has dried up).
During that accident period nor of my colleagues/bosses came to visit me as I was home for a week. But my colleagues kept sending my own share from the runs money.
Last Thursday on my way to work, very close to my work place, walking on the street that lead to my office and one man I don't know, was inside his shop/house, saying to me, oboy this your leg never go, na wa oh, them wan just spoil ur leg for you, that your place wey u dey work many don run commot there cause of the juju things wey them dey use follow their workers, better dey pray every day and when u enter office guy. I said thank you sire, while getting to the office tears dropped from my eyes as I prayed.
Next day being Friday on my way home, the bike I took we both fell down, falling to where my wound is, I had to be smart and quickly dodge the bike from landing on that leg... I paid the bike man and trekked to the bustop to get Keke.
This job has really changed me from that sad dude to happy dude, due to financial capability right now... I'm now free of debt and brokenness.
Please advise me, cause I'm not really a spiritual person but all these are making me prayerful (never believed in juju and attack before). Guy, fortify yourself with prayers. My mum has once had a juju pot with an inscription placed in front of her office. Anyone in places where positions are jostled for will tell you this is a fact. Even in the military. Watch it...do you know that even in the Super Eagles, players use juju to get competing players in their positions to get injured or to fall out of favour with a coach? I cannot repeat some stories I have heard about this here. Recently one of my landlords got into the same line of business with me. We have been at insane loggerheads since. Dude who used to talk with me for up to 2 hours at a stretch on issues now avoids me like a plague. I know what's up. I took his name to the God of all creation and took away his sleep. So you do not run. You fight. But you must also ask yourself; this "runs money" you are referring to...is it clean? That could be the stuff that will break your hedge and allow the serpent to strike. |

Chinkos99: Our company recently employed this guy, we worked in the same company before, then he was a manager and i was a junior staff.
I left the company years ago and joined another, so few months ago he got employed in my new office as a Director.
When he resumed, being that i knew him before, i started playing around with him, like when he was introduced to us, i was like oo, common, i hug him tightly and people were surprise at our closeness before i informed them that we have worked together before.
I am a jovial person, so each time i go around his office, i will call him boyfriend, my love, hope no girl is trespassing cos i will fight o and his subordinates will laugh and say you are not serious.
On the job, we get to work together at times cos i am a Manager now, we go for meetings etc, then some of his job includes doing some short production, even though i am not employed as a video producer, i told him i can do those for him personally, cos i recently learn those, he was surprise before but he decided to give me a try, i did it for him and he liked it, he became close and said i was helping him solve alot of problems.
Recently when he comes to my office, he will ask my PA where is my woman and that one will laugh knowing i started it but i just thought that was it though.
So last month when we went to the Palms Mall, to seek for permission to film their facilities in the short production work we had, we were together then he decided to do some shopping, i helped him carry the things he bought and just had fun, he took me to shoprite and ask me to shop, i just pick two things, drink and rice and he said is that all i said yes, he started showing me things, take this, take that i said i was okay, that it wasnt appropriate to come here and start shopping like its month end. So we left, in the car he said, you do have some very good attribute girl, i said like what, he said never mind and we drove off.
After that he started asking if we can have lunch but most time our lunch time dont sync, so i told him not to worry, then he asked for a dinner, i close late, im a workaholic, so most times i will agree but i will work till 9pm and he would have waited and get tired and left.
Finally i get to have a dinner date with him and he ask if we could do this more often, i said why not boyfriend jokingly, the next time we were having dinner, I said boyfriend let me greet that guy there, i really needed to meet him, he has a contact i need for work, he held me and said you call me boyfriend jokingly, i want you to mean it lol.
After i met with the guy, he started telling me how he loved me and how he will really love us to be in a relationship, he doesnt expect a yes and he knows its so wrong on all level because we work in the same place, but i can think about it and give him a response later that he will respect any decision i make.
I said thank you o, but since then, dude is so soft and nervous when he sees me, i can see the butterflies even when we are in a client meeting.
Even though he tries not to make it obvious at work, after work he is all over me
Last night we were together, i told him i am scared as he is almost 40 and not married, that i believe any guy who gets to that age, with enough money but has not married is a play boy lol. He couldn't say a word for like some minutes then he said, yes i am old enough to have been married and i had relationships, beautiful relationships with wonderful women, some didn't work because of my mistakes and because of things i neglected and some didn't work because it was not meant to work, but above all have learnt alot to be at least a better man and i am ready to make it work this time i promise, i have no doubt if you are the right girl because have known you for long and have never had a second thought about my woman, so forgive me for not making it work all these while, i want to make it right this time - MEHN THOSE WORDS RINGS IN MY HEAD LIKE KILODE, i loved the fact that he didnt put the blame on the ladies he's dated.
Now on my own side, I do not feel anything for him but i like him alot, i like that we should be hanging out, go out, do dinner and talk from morning tonight but i do not feel anything aside that. What do you guys advise. Madam, see the bolded text? Now ask yourself...if you have to stay away from work for a week and you do not see his face or get a call from him, would you be normal or would your body start to do you somehow? |
