I need someone to source 1000 empty cement bags for me. Preferably someone living within the FCT or anywhere from Mararaba to Keffi in Nasarawa State. You are to source the bags and deliver to my contact. Send me a PM for negotiations on cost. |
Looks more like an ashy joint than a hotel. |
Omooba77:Those who pay it because they love God enough to pay it will do so. Those who love their money too much to free 10% of it will not. Besides, Matthew 23 v 23 said tithing (the former) should not be left undone, but that we should also pay attention to weightier matters of the law such as justice and mercy in addition to tithing. Paying tithes and owing your workers is a sin. Paying tithes and driving past that poor beggar you pass on your street everyday is a sin. Not paying tithes and giving to the poor is robbing God. Paying tithes and offerings and giving to the poor, but preferring to let your parents starve or having to ask you for money first before you give them is a sin before God. Giving is a 5-fold ministry of which tithes and offerings is just one of it. You must also give to the poor, give to your parents, and give to God's kingdom projects WITHOUT being forced to do so. You must do it cheerfully. If you give all 5-fold and you do it grudgingly, God will not regard such, for God loves a cheerful giver. If you pay tithes and offerings from illegally gotten money, for instance if you apply for travel or hotel reimbursements with overinflated receipts or you are into Yahoo Yahoo, your givings will actually bring a curse and not a blessing. If you do all this, but carry unforgiveness and malice in your heart towards someone, or you hate people from another tribe, then your offerings, tithes and giving to the poor will not be regarded by God. God says, you must cleanse your own heart of these things before you drop your offerings. So it is not about whether you pay your tithes and offerings, or whether you give to the poor. What is the state of your heart when you do these things? What is the source of the money you are using to do these givings...is it pure? Do you hate people simply because of the tribe they come from? We must check our hearts properly. |
tellsblinks:Which doctors? Did I not see a protest yesterday in a state where they were being owed? |
They should have been arrested and the vehicle seized! |
The job has already been completed by a Nairalander. |
Oladayo12:Every business needs marketers. Frankly you should not be lacking money. As a former Ofood marketer, what stops you from replicating their business model? |
Exmilitant:How can a chicken give birth to an eagle? I have never heard of it before. |
Prymestrr:Search my data giveaway posts on Nairaland. Besides, I do not do giveaways only at occasions like this. My wife and I have done two IDP camp visitations and we also provide food packs EVERY MONTH to disadvantaged communities in the FCT and beyond. I have given out clothes on countless occasions, paid UTME fees for people who could not and I have at least on two occasions, paid university school fees for people with hours to spare before their portals were to close. Not to talk of the guys here who I have empowered with freelance work. Some of them have worked with me for 3 years and one earned nearly a million before he secured employment with the fire service. Giving for me is a lifestyle, that is why I am very blessed. You talk of neighbours and people around me: I go a very big step further. I identify communities. Giving is a 5-fold ministry: - tithe - offering - parents - the poor - prophetic and kingdom offerings I do all of them. The more I do it, the more I receive: it is a mystery only God can reveal to an individual. |
airminem:Which again brings me to my first question: why did you repay so early? |
Oladayo12:Why not indicate what skills or services you can provide for money? I did not tell the shop owner that I need a job. I gave him a laid out plan of how I would bring him more money and what my compensation would be. O dropped my phone as collateral to show I was dead serious. Two guys who were in that shop to buy stuff were laughing at me. I no send them. |
Jlow2:I agree. If u no get mind, u no go fit do wetin I do. Period! |
airminem:Yes you can, but why pay so early? If you use it for business, you could actually turn that loan over again before paying. That way you can maximize the loan before repayment as it comes at a 25% cost. I use their facility for crypto arbitrage trading, so I make up to 75% of the loan, which leaves me with 50% returns after repaying along with their 25% interest. But if you borrow for consumption, then there is nothing gained. |
Everyone blasting the governor who is trying to save lives. No one is blasting the stubborn goats who want to cross the road when a car is coming. The lockdown was announced since with test runs in some parts of the town. Yet people still dare the governor. It is like they did not know this man when he was Obio-Akpor LGA Chairman. |
No skill sells more than the other. Some pay more than others. But if you are good at what you do, you will stand out. Pay attention to every client no matter how small they pay. A guy who used to pay me $10 an article later became the head of monetary policy in his country's central bank. At a state dinner, a discussion between my now former client and another bigwig came up: the bigwig was looking for someone to do a consultancy job. Who do you think that central banker mentioned, in a state dinner in Europe while I was sleeping in my house thousands of miles away? That was how I received a phone call that took me to another financial level, just like that. Change your focus and focus on delivering for every client. You do not know which of these clients will change your destiny. |
Eulalia:What sort of stupid and debased argument is this? Did you not read that they called to apologize? |

Demburrows:If you are that desperate, you will not be on Nairaland. Years ago when I was stone broke with no food or anything at home, I took a step I never knew I could take. I went to a shop and begged the owner to allow me sell some of his goods in a bank for a percentage. I deposited my phone as collateral and took his boy to my place to know where I live. I went to a bank close to where I used to stay and spoke to the security men to allow me in after close of hours by 5pm; that I had some things to sell to the bankers. The shop owner gave me items in 2 bags. I went to that bank by 5pm, gained access and started talking to the bankers. Some of them clustered around and made purchases. I sold N100,000 worth of items that day, took the money back to the store owner, collected my agreed percentage of 10% plus my markup fee, collected my phone and went home. I did not know the shop owner. I did not know the bank security men from Adam. I did not know any banker. I knew nobody. I just took a desperate step on an empty stomach with nothing to lose and in one day went from zero to N20,000. That was the day I discovered cold-calling skills I never knew I had. When I see these beggarly requests all over the place being posted by my fellow men, I ask myself: do you see any male animal in the bush going to beg for food or anything? They step out, take risks and effect a kill for their families. What is happening to our men these days that they just sit at home, buy data and start composing this rubbish all over Nairaland? |
jidamsel43:I have been paying mine online for several years and I just paid another one a few days ago. Tithe is paid on a salary or a business increase. If you have none of these, you are not obligated to do so. I have both, so I pay because of my love for God. A cylinder of oxygen in the hospital costs N5,000 per hour as I was told. How many hours of free air have I been breathing for all these decades I have been on earth? Can I pay God for it? I owe God my life and paying a tenth of my earnings is one of the few ways I can say thank you. I do not know about you or others. |
Very nice initiative. But I tell you, we will continue to see the begging posts. Some people are just impossible. |
otokx:No, hold on. What special flight conveyed Nigerians to Turkey and under what circumstances, when airports and airspaces all along the route are closed? Explain! |
Please which flight was this? Airports have been shut since March. This is pure propaganda! |
TotoNaRubber:Some people spend N200,000 a day and some spend N50 a day. So what's your point? |
Smart move. Coro has damaged his business in the sports betting world. Dude has to diversify. |
I hardly respond to such posts again because there are so many scammers all over the place. You also see them on Twitter. Rather, I will advice on what you can do to fish. If the OP can shed off all element of pride, then he will make enough. - He can organize to clear garbage from houses. - He can sell some of his old stuff. - He can wash cars or cut grass. - He can (if he has the strength) go to work sites and do manual labour. - He can offer to run errands. - He can source items for people for a fee. I would prefer someone to come here to say: I can run errands for you or I can do your laundry or I can wash your cars. I prefer to offer such help to people than to come here and be begging. Like now, my office in Lagos is about opening after 2 months out and I have to get it cleaned. There are people who have such needs. Why not offer such services? Problem is our people are too proud to do menial tasks that can solve problems immediately. |
philos:One of the worst things that can happen to anybody is to plunge money into an "investment" he or she knows absolutely nothing about. |
EmperorGodswill:Go to Udemy and buy some IT courses there. Supplement with Youtube and Codeacademy. Give yourself from now till Christmas. By new year, your life will never remain the same. People learn coding in as little as 9 weeks and by the 10th week, they are already earning $50 an hour. A neighbour of mine is earning 5,000 euros a month as a python programmer. In Naija here. Tell me what you cannot do with a salary of N2million equivalent. You save some. Start investing in agriculture. Add small manufacturing enter (soap making, etc). From there, open a drinking joint and just ensure your drinks are cooled 24/7/365. You will be asking yourself what you were doing for 30 years of your life when money was flowing in. Oh, I forgot. Change your circle of friends. Hang out with people who are ambitious and are serious about their ambitions. If you hang out with those criticizing Buhari and the APC and people who can only see the country is hard (when some people in the same country are swimming in millions), you will think like them and you will become all what you see and hear around you. |
My take: Leave the informational threads open. But ban all ads related to those threads. |
The road sign says it all. No 3 is at fault. The solid line is an indication that overtaking is prohibited. In the DRTS headquarters in Abuja, you must pass the road signs test before you can be issued a drivers' license. |
barrwebilor:Guy, enter freelance platforms. So many people looking for those who can draft business agreements, legal documents, write depositions, legal advice on investments..etc. I get truly baffled when I see such beggarly requests. You live beside the river and yet wash your hands with spittle. Ahhh! |
