I think options would even be more profitable. I would have invested in options if Bonny Light falls to like $18. I doubt it can go lower than that.

Before the world's lockdown will truly begin to wind down, add another 1 month but I would actually say 3 months.

Even if the government begins to lift restrictions, if the citizens of the rich would don't feel safe, it would hurt consumer spending. It will take about 6 months before there's enough confidence for part of the world to start humming again.
I love options, but would have to study which of the various options would work for me. Also, I need a broker that can provide access to unlimited options. I once tried credit spreads on EasyMarkets on a demo account and I liked the results. Unfortunately looks like they took it off.

Y are you contradicting yourself? You said the px of oil collapsed. Was that his fault? What about those in powers when the country was so buoyant yet mid managed the economy e.g. General Yakubu Gowon, Gen Ibrahim Babangida etc. Take it or leave it this man though I don't agree with him in some issues was...a great man n very sound lawyer- what the Hausa called ...Lawyer Giriki.
Do you want me to go into details of what transpired? The selective import licensing policy, the rice contracts of Umaru Dikko, etc? Why do you think Muhammadu Buhari, Sani Abacha, Joshua Dogonyaro staged the coup that swept them off and landed more than 100 politicians of that era including state governors in prison?

If Akinjide was squeaky clean, why did he, Adisa Akinloye and Umaru Dikko run to the UK when the coup took place?

U sound like a fool

A county that there is no electricity

A country everyone drives against traffic and no one obeys traffic lights.

A country no one has rights......were uniform kill and bully as they like

A country with no security

A country more than 80% of the population live in slums

A country were minimum wage is less than a dollar an hour

A country people have no food to eat

A country with no social welfare

A country with no free health care

A country that has no facility to take care of disabled and aged population

I could go on and on

Don't be fooled u can never compare witj any developed country

Any one who says otherwise is a big liar
When you have money in Nigeria or indeed in Africa, 99% of these "issues" are taken care of.

One of my former pastors used to say that there are demons that money can bind. I never knew the meaning until I started stepping into the realm of financial overflow.

Where my house in Abuja is, light has not blinked since Sunday last week. Most people cannot afford to pay rent there. I also have a house in an African country where I spend half the year and I pay the rent there in US dollars. Even the police in that area know that I am not the typical native they see everywhere. When they see me jogging or taking a walk past their checkpoint, they greet me with respect.

These are things that money can do and knowing my circumstances and how they have changed in 20 years, I can compare both sides and tell you categorically that with money, life in Naija can be paradise.

Money has an odour you cannot brush off. You do not even need to be as rich as Dangote to enjoy these things. Just make sure you have at least three to four income streams that bring you 6 figures a month and you are good to go.

You called me a newbie.

Since you are a pro in commodity pricing and trading, I have called you out now to do a simple test on your knowledge of trading and you are running. Tomorrow call another person newbie again.

Since you cannot pass the test, I will do it for you. Take this as a basic lesson on chart patterns.

Can you name all the patterns I have marked for you to identify. Since you are pro trader, this should not be hard for you.

My friend we are not talking about the difference between Brent crude, which is the world crude oil benchmark, and West Texas Intermediate.

I asked you a question and showed you a simple weekly chart for BP. Trace the technical patterns on this chart and prove you are a trader first, before you call others newbies.

that's not crude oil price. crude oil is currently at $20 per barrel. Nairaland admin that took that fake news on crude oil price to front page, clearly shows that nairaland admin doesn't know what's happening in the business world but deceiving the public with misinformation. The chart you displayed is not the main crude oil price. I believe you are still a newbie in trading. crude oil is $20.9 per barrel now.
Since you are a pro in trading, can you spot the technical patterns on this chart and put them up for the "newbies" in trading to see?

Good evening ladies and gents...

My name is Paul, I am married to my beautiful wife Vivian by name for the past 16 years . We have 5 wonderful children together Jemima 15, Isaac 12, Elizabeth 9, Samuel 6 and Tabitha 3. We are based in Liberia. We both are working and earning well by God grace. I have few issues with my wife that brought me here to get some advice.

Anytime my wife and I had some misunderstanding, she does involve the children. The oldest 3 she tells them everything including how I cheated on her, she also feed them with lies that I am a bad man and I want to kills her. She tells them so many things to make them hate me. They will disrespect and keeping malice with me to the extend of if I send them for errands, she will stop them and tell them not to go. No matter how much I shouted at them to go, they will not obey me because their mother has the final say. For example my wife and I are having some misunderstandings for over 3 weeks now, we are not talking or sleeping in the same room. I have tried to makes things works for us but she refused.

The children are also keeping malice with me. I sent Elizabeth to go and get some water for me, she obeyed and went to the kitchen, few moments later she came back empty handed staring at me in shock. I asked her what about the water she said her mother said I should go in the kitchen to get the water myself . At that moment I just couldn’t take it anymore I exploded in anger I went to the kitchen we had a heated arguments she pour water on me I really wanted to hit her so hard but I control my anger and walked away.

I left the house for 3 days to cool down. because I was so angry with her I just wanted to be alone. I then went home after 3 days,my 3 oldest children acted like they hadn’t seen me they were busy with their phone/ tablets and it was only my 2 youngest that were missing me they both hugged me like never before me. My youngest daughter refuse to leave my room she even slept in my room. I could see how much she misses me. My wife on her side acted like nothing too her normal behaviour as usual . For the sake of my 2 youngest children I sat her down and talked with her. How we should makes things better for the sake of our children especially the younger ones.

I have apologized to her on my knees all to no avail. I am tired of my wife turning my children against me they have becoming out of control ... I can’t correct them it pains me a lot to see my own children disrespecting me. I don’t want them to grow up and hate me all their life I want to have my family back. A happy home how we used to be before but my wife don’t want to cooperate with me I thought this lock-down will bring us together so we could sorted out our differences and fix our marriage to become better but all to no avail.

I am writing this sitting inside my car in the compound because I can’t even go inside the house because I have nobody to talk to my 2 youngest children that keeps me busy are asleep. I am so lonely all alone please how can I put an end to all this I am fed up ...

Anyone who has ever experienced something like this can you please advice me on how did you overcome this. I hope I was brief enough...
You have to read the riot act to her and the kids. They either shape up or they leave your house. It is as simple as that. There can never be two captains in a boat.

Ebonyi
-First state in the east to impose lock down
-Criminal offence it caught outside without a face mask
-Clamp down on motorcyclists to reduce movement within the state.
-Closure of markets
-Complete lock down from 7pm to 7am.
-No case of covid-19, and frankly one of the states with the lowest chances of getting it.

I am yet to determine if this is proactiveness or one step further to dictatorship.

Nonsense
Compare Ebonyi under ELechi and Ebonyi under Umahi.... there is no comparison. This is a proactive governor who understood the dangers earlier on and took quick steps at a time your president was still in a daze as to whether to take action or not. It was only when his friend who is now in the greagt beyond caught coronavirus that he acted.

Until we are able to curb d spread and test more ppl with aggressive contact tracing, we are going nowhere and would only help d virus spread like wildfire if we try to copy dem
Not only that. They compulsorily quarantined close to 3,000 incoming travellers in March and detected close to 150 cases among the travellers, thus limiting imported cases. We did not do that here and we are seeing the result.

Bro, each time i go to the East (with unregistered cars) i spend well over 20k on police/customs settlement.

Don't know your routes, but once you turn right at Sagamu bypass to face Benin express the nightmare starts, police checkpoints almost every 2km stretch.

Now, we're all different, I can't leave my house 4am and want to still be on the road by 6pm, all cos i let police delay me over #200 settlements. If you don't want to pay, of course you won't pay, its all about scale of preference, which do you value more, your money or your time.

Calculate multiple #200 payments and FSARS will tell you they won't collect anything below #500, refuse and you'll be delayed. Imagine when 20 checkpoints take 30 mins each away from your journey, won't be funny
Last time I drove a car from Lagos to Abuja after clearing it, I met 3 customs check points and up to 35 police checks. Imagine leaving Lagos by 5.45 am and arriving Abuja at 11 pm, including a nasty 1 hour delay by FSARS somewhere close to Okpella. Which kind suffering be that one?

CrimeRe: Policemen Involved In Ohafia Shooting Acted Under Influence Of Alcohol - Abia CP by stagger: 6:32pm On Apr 19, 2020
Metrix147:
The Abia state Police Command has announced the arrest of policemen involved in sporadic shooting in Ohafia on Friday that led to the death of an indigene of the area, identified as Ifeanyi Arunsi.

The State Police Command said it received with nostalgia the news of the shooting incident in Ebem Ohafia by a team of policemen led by an Assistant Superintendent of Police, saying the team were neither on duty nor on COVID 19 preventive assignment.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7LT57yr548
In a release signed by the command's PRO, SP Geoffrey Ogbonna on behalf of CP E. Ene Okon on Saturday made available to ABN TV, he said the team went out in a private car belonging to one of them to a drinking joint where they got drunk and while going back home, the driver hit a truck off-loading goods.

"In an ensuing argument between the Policemen and the people off-loading goods, one of the Policemen, a Constable disappeared from the scene and resurfaced with a Police rifle and started shooting sporadically under the influence of alcohol during which, bullet hit the victim on the buttocks.

"This singular act and others of same nature is regrettable, condemnable and not tolerated by both the Nigeria Police Force and its Abia State Command.

"The Commissioner of Police Abia State, CP E. Ene Okon commiserates with the immediate and extended families of the deceased as well as the entire Ohafia people.

"It is the Commissioner of Police’ sordid appeal to the youths and people of Ebem Ohafia to eschew violence and destruction of Police/government property while assuring that justice must be done.

Omo, pilots will always be in demand. Many are retiring and will need replacements. The cost of pilot training is also a factor that limits new entrants, so it maintains an equilibrium between those leaving and those entering.

But look at the MSc. Millions of them all over the world competing for fewer jobs. Economics will simply tell you to go and train to be a pilot.

Good day everyone

I've been a guest for a couple of years now, created an account to seek advice

My dear nairalanders, does it always end well marrying the Breadwinner of a family? He's the last born with 4 elder siblings but they all depend on him.

Yes, I knew he was the Breadwinner from day one but I thought with time, everyone else will be able to stand on their own, but it hasn't happened yet, we've dated for 3yrs now and he doesn't support me financially. I don't complain but he feels entitled to my money and when I get tired of him always asking me to lend him some money and decide to say no, he nags and tells me I'm not being supportive enough.

This is driving me really crazy cause he reminded me of how unsupportive I've been to him and his family, he's driving me insane, you can't possibly put the responsibility of your family on my shoulders, that's crazy and insensitive, over the years, I've borrowed him nothing less than 500k which I know for sure he's never giving back.

Is it normal to be in a parasitic relationship whereby the female remains the host that's being fed on?

I'm only 24 while he's 31.
Better look for someone else if you value your well-being.

Yes. My first tithe was 1,500. Today the annual tithe of one of our family businesses runs into millions.

The word of God is sure. Do your own bit, and God will bless you. If your pastors embezzle the tithe, God will judge them for it, but you still have your blessing. You still have your 90% out of which you can help others.
