Pavore9: You are right. My family bought plots of land in Ojota, Lagos state back in the mid 70s when a plot was going for N650, my parents said that N650 was like paying millions of naira because they were paying N9 per month as rent for the 3 bedroom bungalow they were living in. Many people were not even earning much back then as it is also today but the difference is the population explosion, more people for less resources. The cost of that passport was my dad's monthly salary then and we were living well. |

Romance › Re: No Sex Before Marriage Is A Scam by stagger: 12:30am On May 31, 2020 |
BobbyHammar: Anybody who still believe in the scam of no sex till marriage needs to get their head checked. If only you know how many marriages have been destroyed or are still suffering because of this, you will never think of falling for such a scam.
What baffles me is those who keep going to church but yet don't know anything about bible and will keep deceiving themselves that sex before marriage is a sin (WHICH YEYE SIN).
Many will say it's formication but they don't even know the true meaning of fornication as referred to in the bible. Take for example when Joseph was dating Mary, yes we agree she was still a virgin because it was their own decision not to have sex yet but how many people realized that there were other young women that existed then as well. Many had boyfriends too and some had sex with their boyfriends while some didn't because Mary wasn't the only virgin.
The bible never condemned those that had sex with their boyfriends before marriage but it was just the divine choice of the Father to select a virgin rather than a lady that had sex already.
Let's stop all these brohaha low African mentality of calling sex before marriage a sin. God only sees a clean and a pure heart, not who had sex when or how. You all should better respect yourself and save the doctrine of marriage by testing the waters to ensure you are ready to sail on that water for the rest of your life. Not after marriage you start looking for divorce because penis is too big or too small or maybe Virgina is too tight or too wide or its always one minute sex.
Haba. So God who created marriage and the act of sex is a scam abi? You are the one who needs to have his checked. Some screws are loose. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: President Trump Gets Censored On Twitter For His Tweet Threatening Americans by stagger: 10:00am On May 29, 2020 |
StagethemTVee: This is the tweet by President Trump that Twitter censored. He called black protesters thugs and threatened to have the military shooting at them if looting continues. Coming from a President who recently criticized Iran leaders for shooting at their protesters, Ironic, right? He was not referring to the black peaceful protesters. He was referring to those who have taken advantage of the protests to loot and burn business premises and cause wanton violence. None of these will bring the dead man back to life. Besides, how does going to smash up a shop (where you have black single mothers working to earn a keep for their kids) target the police who did this? Moreover, these acts of looting and destruction distract from the issue at hand, which is that the policemen need to be arrested and charged for murder. The protests should be focused and peaceful. What we have here is not a protest. |

Also the heir to Samsung arrested for seeking undue Favours from the president. Lol No mind them. Same South Korea a president committed suicide after he was accused of corruption. seunmsg: Very watery allegations. It’s very obvious they simply want him out just to make the bank an instrument of western control of African countries. What is considered "watery" and commonplace in Nigerian institutions (using company funds to pay for private expenses, nepotism in recruitment processes or bypassing due process) are considered very serious crimes in other climes. Adesina is going down hard. Once the US has its eyes on you, there is no escaping it. People think this Invictus Obi matter is a joke. It has placed a very firm spotlight on Nigerians in sensitive positions. |

Anyone that refuses to acknowledge the role of the Igbos in the economic parlance of this country is only living in deceit. Let the Igbos decide to pull out all their money, sell all their property and repatriate same to the South East and Nigeria will feel the pinch. The Igbos are the only tribe in Nigeria that ensure that in every family, there are people of financial means and use the apprenticeship system to promote the generational transfer of economic empowerment.
Not like other parts of the country that are comfortable with one man controlling all the wealth while hundreds of thousands will come to their house to beg for money and food (Saraki, Adedibu et all...they know themselves).
Even my Niger Delta brothers continue to display their penchant for laziness all the time. Of all my business branches, it is the one in the Niger Delta that is pulling in the least revenue with the greatest human resource headache. Not surprising. |

IamAsiri: It's easy. Get a long rod or if you have a metal hanger you can straighten that head a little bit to form a hook and push it through one of the holes in the white plastic cover. Pull out and clean off the dirts on the cover and also in the exposed hole, pour hot water to unclog and replace the cover. I have used this method and it worked perfectly where the baking soda option failed, In my case, it was a new building and cement clogged the pipe. |
