Tell me one thing the Nigerian government has done for its people at this critical time.

You cannot talk of influence in the Premier League without mentioning the likes of Gianfranco Zola, Eric Cantona and David Ginola.

Who be all these young boys una dey mention? I was grateful to have watched the Premier League from its very inception in 1992 till date, just when the Nigerian government liberalized TV licensing and allowed Ultima Communications and other guys to come into the fray.

If I was the president of a country like the US, I will make sure China pays the steepest price possible for this.

She even went as far as going to meet this rich man at a hotel, but the man ran away when she made that request, and I as a fool decided to finally do it for her. (I suspect she cheated on me that night and I always tell it to her face because she has cheated on me twice before)

I live on the Island and tried to get her to rent here as well, as I really want to keep an eye on her..... She has too many guys around her who live in that area and she is this kind of person who cheats out of revenge, even over small things.....this girl refused and threatened to break things off!....bro, as a mumu I sent the money to her to rent the place and for other things, about 400K.....

Ever since that money left my account, it's like my eyes cleared!!! I couldn't believe that instead of saving my hard earned money, I went and sent it to a girl that has cheated on me twice (or even more), lied to me, slapped me and done so many things.....but I just decided to leave everything for God, seeing as she was desperate.

The problem now is that the demands for that apartment is now becoming too much!!! The expenses just to get the place finished are such a burden on my financial and mental state...

The worst happened about two days ago, she wanted me to pay 20k. Infact I just got so tired of bills that I kinda was stalling on it, but what happened next truly shocked me. Would you believe this girl started punching me, slapping me and even tore my shirt cos of 20k. She even threatened to break my office laptop (working from home) until I sent the money, after that she left........

Now she is trying to apologize so that I will pay for bed and gas and the remaining things....my brothers, I know u will say am a fool!...I accept...I am a handsome guy, studied abroad, I just don't know why loneliness made me fall in love with such a sadistic user... My only problem is, do I pay for the bed and just finish what I started or just free the whole thing and the nearly 500K I have already spent...

No, you're wrong. The rider is not the problem. That's how dispatch/ haulage / logistics is. It's a really big problem for the business and the government doesn't care because the people behind printing those things are usually their political touts and that's how they compensate them for using them to win elections. Those papers are 100% fake, there is no law backing it up, no agency of government it belongs to, neither is it under any local govt. It is just touts that go and print whatever rubbish that comes to their head from time to time, and then they go about harassing and extorting logistics / cargo transporters for money, and sometimes they bribe enforcement to help them arrest logistics transporters so it will look as if they are legit and have direct govt backing. And the reason why tour rider keeps having issues is that, when they print and sell a particular permit, once they see that most
logistics plying their hijack route have those papers, it means no more money to extort, so they will go and print another rubbish permit again with a different name,so they can be blocking and extorting people again. It's a huge problem all over the country, except in the North, it is even worst in the SE/SS region and a big setback for efficient and cost-effective logistics.

Until the day a dispatch company owner puts out a price on the heads of some of these touts, mafia style, they will not stop.

My parents shared everything. Nothing like his money, her money.

I made sure I introduced this into my own marriage and today we have a lot of peace. My wife and I do compulsory contribution into our joint savings and every year, we decide on how the family's expenses will be handled for that year from January to December, with periodic review. We know ahead of the year which expenses will be done jointly, which one I will handle and which one she will handle.

We have a policy of open declaration. Whenever I get money, I declare it to my wife. When she gets money, she declares same to me. This we have done over the years and there is total openness and transparency. If we are having shortfall in finances, we discuss it and come up with ideas to boost our finances or discuss what we should cut off. I will not deceive you: some of the discussions end up in arguments, but we always come to an agreement. ALWAYS!

When the bible talks of naked and not ashamed, both parties should be open and transparent.

What I can deduce from the OP's long essay is that the money matters were not discussed and there is no ongoing discussion as to how the family's finances can be improved by both parties. Was there even a plan in place to know how to train 4 children until they are of age and leave home? Many couples today do not even have such discussions.

As a man, if you are not in discussions with the One who made you as to how to captain the ship of your house, and handle all matters therein including finances, you are a disaster waiting to happen.
