The guy who said dry maize is profitable: can he expatiate more, because that has not been my experience. Drying of maize is very stressful. Losses start from the farm to birds, then to human harvesters, and if you are not careful to further dry post-shelling and bag well with preservatives, you can be in for a nasty surprise.
Pardon75: Every Nigerian road traffic can be like this if all the roads are marked.
You should come to Airport road in the evenings and see how cars drive one-way against traffic just to avoid having to turn at the right places. They will even be yelling at you as if they have the right of way. Honestly, our penchant for breaking every known rule under the sun as is too disheartening.
I was in a taxi heading from Almadies to Yoff in Dakar, Senegal, and we approached a traffic light with no traffic. I was amazed at how the taxi driver stopped and waited his turn. Other driver all gradually approached and did same. Nobody was trying to beat the traffic. There was not even a single police guy around.
I shook my head in disbelief at how civilized other countries can be and how in Naija, we all behave like animals in a jungle.
dapadawee: if not for Ronaldo this ramot will not have lifted more than one champions league trophy. he goat ramos
Na you be the he goat. Who equalized for Real Madrid against Atletico with 2 minutes left in the Champions League final that Real eventually won for La Decima (their 10th trophy)?
By the time the country realizes that it is seriously in the dumps, it would have been too late. My annoyance is that even if you give Southerners the chance to head the institutions, they will continue the rape of the Nigerian masses at every level and in every institution.
meshpips: The screen shot above shows the volume analytics for NZDUSD.
The volume adjusted price is currently about 30 pips higher than the ordinary price.
This tells me that NZD will buy at least to 0.6634 and possibly higher.
The volume adjusted price acts as a price attraction point and shows the future of ordinary price.
NOTE: This concept was created by me from the scratch. You might never find such a concept in any book.
You need to have your own "creative edge" in this business.
Over the years, I have come to notice the importance of VOLUME in this market.
Volume is the "propellant" for price. Tape readers simply watch the volume transacted at various price levels to make their trading decisions.
VSA traders watch the inter-relationship between volume and the SPREAD (range) of the candle.
Many other volume studies just try to find a relationship between price and volume.
This to me is a very important denominator to whether or not a trader will make money consistently in this market.
This is my own creative edge (maybe in my mind's eye because person fit think say him dey shake palm tree otherwise na only him own head dey shake).
It is good that we are now looking at other dimensions of the market that impact ability to profit. This should be the way to go so traders start understanding the fundamentals.
Even if you end up studying by yourself as most traders are (autodidacts), it still doesn't stop you from joining the league of the 90% that will lose 90% of their capital within 90 days.
FOREX trading is a torturous path threaded only by a few. In this business, you either swim or sink!
Nobody is gonna spoon feed you. The brokers set up this business to COLLECT your hard earned money. Do you want to allow them bully you? Do you want to be the VICTIM? Or are you ready to do whatever it takes, man-up and look them straight in the eyes and refuse for them to push you around like a pawn on the chessboard of life.
You have to put in the time to study, listen to others speak. Weather the storm for yes, the stormy times will certainly come.
FOREX trading is NOT easy! Be not deceived. Only a few succeed in this line of business.
I have taken courses in forex dealing, so I have some inside knowledge, especially as to how the A-liquidity Books and B-liquidity Books are handled in-house. I only got to known Anton Kreil last month and yes, he broke the whole thing down so succintly.
Ever heard some traders complain that they feel as if the broker is watching them? Well, the brokers are actually watching you. That's how they decide who to place in their A-Book and who goes to the B-book.
wiconse: How I want take learn dis forex. Nobody is willing to teach unless you pay.
.
This is the typical Nigerian mentality. Always looking for freebies. I am presently writing an introductory course for beginners for someone in Europe at a cost of N200,000. But my Naija brothers want all the information for free.
iuwe: I think Ronaldo played only two matches in the national league compared to a guy who played all the match. Why are all Messi fans this so bittered?
I tire o.. Watch the 1st game of this tournament played by Portugal last year and see what Bernardo Silva was doing on the field.
How is she allowed to start working as a model at 16 years? She is still a child for goodness sake. Is it that poverty makes parents lose their heads in Africa?
Nigeriadondie: George Weah is a complete failure. As usual, he lacks what it takes to govern the country. Being a superstar isn’t guarantee you would make a good leader
BS. George Weah inherited a totally failed state from Johnson-Sirleaf. They should free the man. How can you expect him to work wonders in 1 year, what Charles Taylor and Johnson-Sirleaf messed up over a 21 year period?
Aristotle96: the poster is right. It's even Ogbum-nu-Abali and not ogbunabali, Ogbum(oro-gbum) is a separate community from Abali(oro-abali) the *nu* is the same thing as saying *and* meaning Ogbum and Abali community (2 communities)
It is not only in the US. Infact at London Heathrow, customs is allowed to challenge passengers leaving the country with more than 1,000 British Pounds to produce evidence of how the money was obtained or have it seized.
So be guided. If you are carrying more than 10,000 units of a foreign currency, you must declare it and have documentary proof of how the money was obtained. Else, it will be confiscated.
That place that guy parked his car is a no-no at night. It is dark and even in the day time, all sorts of suspicious characters prowl the place. The place is always bristling with people selling memory cards, watches, glasses, recharge cards, all sorts during the day. But at night, that place is an abandoned area.
