The guy who said dry maize is profitable: can he expatiate more, because that has not been my experience. Drying of maize is very stressful. Losses start from the farm to birds, then to human harvesters, and if you are not careful to further dry post-shelling and bag well with preservatives, you can be in for a nasty surprise.

You should come to Airport road in the evenings and see how cars drive one-way against traffic just to avoid having to turn at the right places. They will even be yelling at you as if they have the right of way. Honestly, our penchant for breaking every known rule under the sun as is too disheartening.

I was in a taxi heading from Almadies to Yoff in Dakar, Senegal, and we approached a traffic light with no traffic. I was amazed at how the taxi driver stopped and waited his turn. Other driver all gradually approached and did same. Nobody was trying to beat the traffic. There was not even a single police guy around.

I shook my head in disbelief at how civilized other countries can be and how in Naija, we all behave like animals in a jungle.

Over the years, I have come to notice the importance of VOLUME in this market.

Volume is the "propellant" for price. Tape readers simply watch the volume transacted at various price levels to make their trading decisions.

VSA traders watch the inter-relationship between volume and the SPREAD (range) of the candle.

Many other volume studies just try to find a relationship between price and volume.

This to me is a very important denominator to whether or not a trader will make money consistently in this market.

This is my own creative edge (maybe in my mind's eye because person fit think say him dey shake palm tree otherwise na only him own head dey shake).

It is good that we are now looking at other dimensions of the market that impact ability to profit. This should be the way to go so traders start understanding the fundamentals.

It is not only in the US. Infact at London Heathrow, customs is allowed to challenge passengers leaving the country with more than 1,000 British Pounds to produce evidence of how the money was obtained or have it seized.
