I graduated from a private university and my school runs a monthly expenses of #75million,to obtain an operating licence from N.U.C to own up a university cost about #200m.Let me ask you this question, are you aware that all state, federal universities runs on "government subvention" to reduce the tuition fee par head.If you say church universities are way to expensive,the technical university which was established in Ibadan by Oyo state/CBN partnership pays about #950,000 per session.My school tuition was #504,000 when I graduated some years back.No universities owned by the church takes government subventions.

The basis of my argument was comparison of private university vs church universities. I never mentioned state or federal.
And my emphasis was based on that most churches of today are profit-driven, and because of this they charge for services just like the capitalist whose sole aim is to make profit.
Believe me your school fees could have been cheaper than that but it wasn't because the church wants to both maintain the school and acquire huge profit at the expense of be humanistic. In past charges were majorly for maintainance and for minimal profit for church growth but those days are far gone

church are to amass wealth so as to show love to the poor not by giving them money directly(though in rare cases) but creating services that the poor man can enjoy. This house he built, of course he cant start handing keys to the poor.

But he can make the rent so cheap that even the average man can pay. the rent should should symbolize money for maintainance and maybe for profit for church growth but it shouldn't be expensive to an extent it signifies that the church are money driven just like our everyday landlords.

But what we see today is that church will build universities/estate and the price will be as cost as the private university and private estate or even more. This shows that the church pure intention are just to make money the way private individuals do.

U see, I had a similar background to that boy, I grew up with my mum, never knew my dad until I was 12, mum fed me with her own part of their story, I hated my dad so much Dat each time he comes around or I go visiting, i would show it all over my face and attitudes..

As as I was growing, I was beginning to realize that this man isn't that bad as I have always thought, then one day, about this boy's ages(was in my yr 2 in d university) I went visiting, then the senior man asked me to seat down, he told me that now, he can see some maturity in me, and he began to tell me their stories.. Believe me that day is one of my most memorable days.. Last last I settled their fight though they couldn't come to leave together again.. But the hatchet was gone

Fighting/Beating someone as I know should be used to suppress/defend a negative behavior of oppressors and should not be used as an act of sadism/show of anger. The former is to send a message while the latter is because you're unleashing your anger. There is a thin line.

So I had an abusive girlfriend, who abuses me physically and emotionally. On this platform I have been asking people to stay clear of abusive relationship.

I had to move to another city to avoid her. I failed to take my own advise and had to pay with a scar. I let this girl come to my new place last month after many pleas and promises of how she is a changed person.

She wanted to stay long but after three days I saw she hasn't changed but only got worse. I asked her to leave after arguing back and forth she left. I blocked her phone number.

2 days ago she just showed up on my door pleading, I told her there is nothing to plead about because I non dey do again. She can spend the night but leave the next day. Next day she said she can't leave because of no transport fare that I should give her. I non get....

Another argument, she was eating when I told her to be quick because I wan comot and i can't leave her in my house since I won't be returning till Monday.

Before I could raise my head from the phone I was using na black out. The girl don throw the ceramic plate she was eating with at me. I put my hand for where the plate landed and saw blood, I non fit shout I carry my self go pharmacy, treat myself and before I return I non know how she take leave.

I hope say she non go come again....

I don learn my lesson and I hope you too don learn from my story make u for non experience same thing....

Anyway she has given you the reason why you are to take a strong decision, next time she comes abeg arrest am, try avoid the temptation of taken her down through anger o. and don't fall in to her begging trap. Forgive her on your own will only.

GEJ was a good man, but in the wrong party. The moment he said he is not arresting anyone but will not let them steal is the time I gave up on him. It just show that the demons that got him there were the cabals disturbing his leadership and to a large extent he seem confused on how to deal with them.
