So I have been with this guy for almost five years now, first and only man I have slept with. I have been suspecting he has been cheating with his so called ex, swears he is in love with me, promise me things and never fulfills them..
I saw some things lately when he slept off while texting her as he was drunk and my heart broke into a million pieces.
I have been suicidal for a while now and I really don’t know how to put myself together cause I have sacrificed a lot for this relationship even aborted his child after forcing me to...
He is supposedly expecting a child with this so called ex cause they have stylishly been sleeping with themselves and he strongly thinks it is fine ... She is of ripe age for marriage and I am not but she is putting pressure on him because she thinks it is time for her to get married knowing fully well he is with me.....
Is it a crime to love someone with your whole heart and what can I do now?

But remember when police were shooting criminals without trials. A lot of people complained bitterly. Same people are now hailing the Bakassi for doing exact things.

The only way to fix this country is to fix our police and legal system. Bakassi killings would ultimately not solve any problem. Leaving the hands of our justice system to jungle practices is nothing but chaos. Bakassi are not capable of meeting out justice, they would only cause more damage to the society.

Currently our police and legal system can’t even do same. If only we as a society can fix the system then it would work again.

I realized Snapchat is actually a place to pickup girls, well that's not why I am there, I have my babe.

I felt really bad, I didn't want to judge her, I just felt if she can allow us become friends I can talk to her. I told her I am not interested in having sex with her but I will like to know her maybe we can be friends, she's just like my sister and her smile is very very charming.

Then she stopped replying to my messages, after some time, when I quit Snapchat and went to do other things I found out she has blocked me.

Growing up people that I didn't know has helped me before too, when hope is lost, just because they like me, I feel I should do same to others too. Although I am not rich, but saving a soul like hers should not be too difficult for me.

I feel really bad for her, she is still very young and very pretty there are still things she can do with her life. This morning I am starting to feel bad about my approach, I could have made her come to my house and talk to her maybe she can listen to me. I really wish she knows the way she's trending doesn't pay at the end.

What you’re taught in school is a far cry from reality not in the theoretical aspect but in the practical aspect.

Developing a website is quite a complicate journey. It has many sides to attack. Frontend, backend, content developer, process designer, hosting and database, graphics and images.
UI/Ux etc.

So which of the above do you do?

My take:
Guys should be arrested randomly and be queried for the sources of their income. They should be released however upon the satisfaction for their source of income.

Nairaland is using a cloudflare service, this means most content served to you are through CDN(content delivery Network). When content are served in this manner it makes the speed of content super-fast at a very amazing speed which is about 4x faster than actually local server download. Also it even becomes about 20x faster because most asset you use like javascript and stylesheet cache automatically. leaving raw speed to just sql queries and php script execution.

As for mysql, I think nairaland is based on SMF and they did a good work as about database schema and indexes. so nairaland is able to query millions of role is less and 0.2s and retrieve all data needed before the blink of an eye.

Nairaland is hosting on cloud which give virtually limitless elastic capability to always maintain performance and I think that is what make nairaland still maintain speed.

I stand to be corrected on some of my assumptions though

Was it part of the terms and conditions when such teacher was employed? And was the terms and conditions well written and sent to such teacher to read and agree before employment.

On ethical ground the answer is no. If the teacher actually did work during those time she/he deserves to be paid. lesson cannot be the yard stick for a teacher been paid.

If you have a problem of how the teacher is delaying work or the style/method the teacher uses then use that as a query and punish such teacher appropriately.
If no such term/policy exist for such case then it is a chance to amend your terms and conditions and let the sleeping dog lie with just a warning
