Everybody's talking about the Bucks and the Nets in the east, but watch out for the Sixers. Don't sleep on them. They added tremendously to their roster. They got shooting from Danny Green and Seth, and defence from Danny and Dwight. Add that to their core of Simmons, Embiid and Harris and you have a decent six. If healthy I think they'll make it to the conference finals at least.

Steady, Bam has shown he is good enough for the max. He can guard all 5 positions and the Heat run their offense through him. For me, he ticked all the boxes.

The way we lower the bar for max contracts these days. If Bam was on the on the Nets or the Warriors as they presently are constituted, will he get the Max? Or if the Heat traded for Giannis this off season, will he have gotten the max?

He has earned it, IMHO at the time of getting the max he has outperformed lots of other players who also got the bag e.g Wiggins, J Murray ( who proved after he had got the bag, that he was worth it), D Booker.
His offensive output is just going to continue to improve so he has earned it

All these guys have reasonable outputs. The only problem is they haven't had decent teams. Wiggins is at least a 23ppg player. Booker is a 25ppg player

Bam gets the max. Well, anything to lock him down, but I think it was too soon. He hasn't even proven to be a 20ppg player and a regular all-star yet.

Anthony Davis complements LeBron so well that it is scary. The only way I lose the bet is if Davis or LeBron becomes injured. I am willing to bet anyway.

THT is projected to get more meaningful game time this season. So they may be counting on Schroder, Caruso and him. Unless they get another guard in free agency.

THT is more of a 2 guard sha, but yes, he can fill that role of ceremonial point guard if he's playing alongside LeBron, just like Bradley did and KCP did in the playoffs.

Bradley won't be staying. His minutes will diminish a lot with the addition of Schroder. He has opted out and got a new agent, that's should be a pointer to him leaving.

Naah, a new agent don't mean much. And he opted out cos he probably wants a few more millions.

Losing Bradley will mean our PG options are only Schroder and Caruso. We had Rondo last year, now its Schroder, the situation is more or less the same. Bradley will stay and play his usual 24 minutes. Except he's asking for what we can't pay.

One thing is sure for the Lakers now: they have a lot of bench points. They are actually what the Clippers thought they were last season, except that they have Bron and AD as well. Add Kuzma, Markief and Caruso to Schroder, Montrezl and Matthews and we have a solid 6 on the bench, that's assuming we'll have a starting 5 of Bradley(please stay), KCP, Bron, AD and JaVale.

Montrezl in, Dwight out. Hmm. Don't know what to make of that. It improves us offensively but diminishes us defensively. It was our length last season that made us a force to reckon with at the rim. And Dwight is getting 2.6m in Philly, which he surely could have gotten in LA. Does that mean Pelinka didn't want him? Are we bringing in another center? Anyway, I'm really interested in seeing how this works

Warriors adding Kelly oubre. Mehn! steph, Kelly, Wiggins, draymond and Wiseman, Paschall, Kevon looney, marquies Chriss + a few roster adjustments is still a dangerous squad.
They are definitely not contenders but that's a mixture of vets and young hungry athletic players.
They could be a dangerous lower bracket playoff team that's going to but sand in a top team's garri In a 7 game playoff series.
Chocking Clippers beware!

Steph has a 22ppg player, a No 2. Draft pick and a possible hall of famer as sidekicks. He shouldn't complain.

Man, Klay can't just get a break. Season ending injury for the second year in a row? Damn. Quick recovery to him.

But on a different note, I'd love to see Steph lead a team without Klay. That thing that he ran away from last season, he must do it this time around grin

Some crazy moves going on in the league. CP3 to the Suns. Could get them to the playoffs though, but that's it. I've always been skeptical about guard combos. That's not the recipe for a championship, except of course if you're the greatest shooting backcourt of all time. The best combo for a chip is the guard-big man combo, or two wings to a lesser degree. That's why I want Harden to go Philly and Simmons to go the other way. Both teams would be better off.

Chima Moneke who has averaged 12.3pts and 5.8rebs in 4 games for Orléan in the French league has also been called up for the first time alongside Zaid Christopher Hearst-Okpalannaka who plies his trade in the second tier of the French league.

I just want to point out that apart from Balewa and Amadu Bello, Samuel Akintola, who was premier of the west, was also killed in the January 1966 coup. But there were no anti-igbo pogroms in the west.
