These commentators no just get joy. See as dem list Milwaukee regular season achievements as dem wan comot ![]() |
etidy:Who says Siakam is elite? |
Afr0mentalist:Yea, it'll probably go 6 at most. But I'm confident in this team. Vogel now understands that you have to go small to beat this team. And the good thing about it is that going Small doesn't really make them small. AD is 6"10, Bron is 6"8½, Kuz is 6"8, Keiff is 6"9. That's a very tall cast. And they can all shoot the 3. |
I like how folks are discrediting Westbrook without acknowledging the good D the Lakers had on him Westbrook shot 47.2% from the field this season, which is the highest in his 12-year career. He shot 42.8% last year. The Lakers chocked him. Even when he drove to the basket, which is his strength, he was missing because he was suffocated.Lakers in 5 though |
aliondo:Rondo did a very good job honestly. I don't think we can win this series without him. McGee is a no no for this series. Obviously we can't have Bradley. Dwight? Don't really know how he fits. I think Markeif is better for this series. He's big and not as slow as Dwight. And can shoot 3s. I liked him, Bron and AD on the court. |
What's most impressive about this win is that the Lakers managed to win despite Rockets having a good shooting night. 22 made threes. I feel confident. Lakers in 5. |
Abi Giannis is Middleton's sidekick? Middleton leads the charge and they get the win. After people here go dey talk trash about Middleton. Smh. Put some respeck on that name. |
Of course, the thread is relatively quiet. Because it's the Clippers who lost and not the Lakers ![]() |
Anytime the Clippers lose a game, it's always difficult for guys like Broussard and Kellerman to give explanations. Now they gotta give an extra explanation as to why Kawhi stunk up the joint(and not PG) |
And just like that, the series is tied. Plus Raptors have the momentum. What wonders one shot can do. At this point I'm confident they're winning this series. |
Kyle Lowry is a dawg. Damn. |
Lol. Premature talks all over the place. Same scenario in round one happening all over again. Lakers were their own downfall in this game, nothing else. The team shot poorly in general, but AD and LeBron didn't do or shoot enough. Bron had 15 attempts (7/15). He should be shooting the ball 20 times at least. And AD wasn't contained, he just didn't shoot enough. He was 10 of 16. That's 62% shooting. His mid-range was falling, I wonder why he didn't take more. And AD and LeBron attempted a combined 9 free throws. That's appalling. You won't win a ball game if your two stars shoot 9 free throws combined, no matter who you're playing. It shows how unaggressive they were. But I'd be more concerned if the Lakers lost with good shooting. Bron and AD need to shoot 45 combined. I trust Vogel to make some adjustments going forward. And we know LeBron won't be this pedestrian again. I'm positive. This wasn't a statement by any means from the Rockets. |
The 'MVP' of the league is about to get swept. When I argued that there is no way Giannis is MVP ahead of LeBron folks started bringing me skewed stats like PER and rebounds. I mean, there's loads of shitty teams in the east for you to be able to amass those stats. Think about this for a second: Beal and Tray both averaged 29 points in the east despite having a shitty record. Lavine averaged 25. Everybody who averaged more than 25 in the west is either in the playoffs or was in playoff contention. It's very easy to get great numbers in east. |
Your MVP missing an open layup with his team down 9 with 40 seconds to go. You hate to see it. ![]() |
Nick Wright was absolutely spot on about the Steve Nash hire. That's one of the reasons I love to listen to him; he brings facts only. The league is made of 20% white athletes, and there are 7 current coaches who are former players, and only 2 of them are black. I mean, what are the odds? It's clear that something is at play here. It might not necessarily be racism outrightly, but it's certainly white privilege. Why didn't Isiah Thomas just walk into the job for instance? Or Allen Iverson. It's only a white man that can walk into that kind of job without an iota coaching experience. |
Afr0mentalist:Yea. And there's just too much quality for them to handle. It'll be over before they even notice it. |
Scenes when the Raptors win four in a row. I knew Denver were going to have a hard time against the Clippers. If not for anything else but because of their massive mileage at this point of the post season. It only took one quarter for that to become obvious. |

I wonder how PJ gon fare with that AD mid-range though. ![]() |
I don't think I've seen an NBA game with so much drama right at the end as this one. Pffff |
mattfeuter:Who says so? As good as AD was this year, he would not make first team because those positions would be occupied by Giannis and LeBron. Kawhi won't make first team as well. |
mattfeuter:He's above average |
mattfeuter:But that's not average either |
mattfeuter:Siakam will probably make 3rd team all-NBA |
I know Kawhi got a mid-range game but this man lethal too
|
It appears Jason Tatum isn't clutch. Scored virtually all his 34 points in the first 3 quarters, but when it was crunch time it was Kemba and Smart that ran the show. Let the youngins watch and learn while the big boys do the needful. |
Can't believe the refs missed that travel on Kemba. It's little things like these that influence the outcome of games. |
There's no way Giannis can be my MVP when he constantly shrinks against elite defence. It's easy to get impressive numbers in the regular season when you play the Hornets 4 times, the Knicks 4 times, Bulls 4 times, Wizards 4 times, Cavs 4 times, Hawks 4 times and Pistons 4 times. |
The playoffs just began in the eastern conference. |
D. Mitchell and J. Murray once again capitalizing on both teams' awful perimeter defending. |
mattfeuter:That's a hard one. Those 4 teams look like they're built to play each other. I won't underestimate the Raptors though, I think they'd be in the conference finals at least. Heat/Bucks is anybody's game, but if I'm to put my money, I'll cautiously pick Bucks. |
mattfeuter:I trust the Lakers perimeter defenders to make life difficult for them ![]() |
