We don't know what you did at your job tongue. It is your job description that determines your NOC.

PwityMiwa:
Please for someone who works in the card unit of a bank ie deals settlement and production of card transactions which NOC can i choose?

Please help
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by Stencil: 3:53pm On Jul 22, 2019
If you are currently unemployed, state it in your timeline. There is nothing wrong with that.
Get a reference letter for the period you are claiming. Should be in the last 10 years, it doesn't have to be a current job.
Explaining why you are unemployed is unnecessary (in my opinion).

Silversurfer1:
Hi everyone. I've asked this question before but haven't received a better answer.
If you are currently unemployed, how do you go about stating it in the application? Do I get a reference letter from my last job and then explain the period of unemployment, or how do I do it?
Please help me. Lol
Thanks

Answers in bold.

Muyiwa951:
1. Is it possible for me to apply for EE from US on F1 visa? Many have, and now have PPR.

2. I have all the requirements, such as work experience, POF etc except IELTS... now my question is: a must to have the 8777 score? If you have anything less than the score, does that mean you don't qualify for EE? It isn't compulsory to score 8777, if you have a high enough score without 8777, go ahead.

3. Reference Letter from my previous work: I have been working in my dad's coy for more than 5years before i travelled. Can that count as work experience for me. Show documentation/proof and you're good to go.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by Stencil: 4:15am On Jul 21, 2019
Please check page 1 or search the thread. All your questions have been answered several times on here.

1. Your degree doesn't have to match your job. Canada doesn't care.
2. You get max points for 3 years of work experience. If you worked at a certain position for 3 years use that. If not, combine experiences/NOCs. 3. You just need to have worked in one of the NOCs for a continuous year.
4. Your employer would have to state that you were paid in cash on your letter.
5. How much you earn doesn't matter. You can earn ₦1.99 every 6 years for all they care.
6. Your job description determines your NOC. Post your JD here for whatever experience you've decided to go with and someone would guide you better.

Hello House,
I work in a School as an Administrator. I do not have any qualifications in education. I have my BSc and Msc in business administration. I have been working there for about 7 years having gone through from being a classroom teacher to an HOD to being an assistant Administrator and now an administrator which I was given the promotion in 2015 after my Msc. What Noc code is best for me.. Noc code 0422 as job description matches this or 1221 because I do not have a degree in Education at all.
Also when writing my reference letter are all this promotions meant to be listed as I was given. And can I attach my promotion letter when applying
Also I have been paid my salary in cash from the very beginning of the job even till now I av no salary account or what so ever how do I give evidence that am being paid. Is there a particular amount the immigration officers expect to be paid in bank as salary. I earn over 140k and my boss Neva pays to my account he gives me the cash. I anticipate ur responses
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by Stencil: 4:00am On Jul 21, 2019
There is no point as MSC gives you more points than two or more degrees.

Dollarpee49:
Hello house, I am new here and read slot.... I have some question and I will appreciate answers from the gurus...
1. I am about completing MSC and wish to evaluate this as the highest certificate.
2. I am a mining engineer registered with COREN and have other professional certification NSME, NMGS,COMEG..... are these certification advantage and is it possible to evaluate them with my MSC?

There's something I'm yet to understand properly o.
Assuming I'm single when I dived into the pool and get married after ITA/AOR, will my point be recalculated or not?
Stencil:
If you enter the pool as a single applicant and marry post AOR, your CRS won't be recalculated. Your spouse won't need to write IELTS or evaluate their degrees.
New placeholders would be created for their personal information after your inform CIC.
There will be a new POF requirement for 2 people, their medicals, PCC, marriage certificate ETC.

I hope this helps.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by Stencil: 9:29pm On Jul 19, 2019
This is super easy. You can use the link on CIC’s website or just google FBI Police clearance certificate.
You’d have to find a way to send/post your fingerprints to them if you are in Nigeria.
Once you send it in, you'd get a confirmation and they typically process in a week or less.

kemmystree2015:
Hi, pls did you get any info on the PCC for the USa? Pls i am interested. Thanks

Your case isn't quite similar as the person in question isn't married and you are.
You can research more about sponsorship (can be a last resort)

blazetitov:
Thanks for this response.

I have a similar case. If i apply alone, that is; stating my spouse as non-accompanying, my CSR score is 464, but once i include her, it drops to 446. Her school just sent her transcript to WES yesterday and WAEC is still dozing. She will be writing ielts on 1st of August. Already missed the last 2 draws. Please what is the best approach to go through this as time is of the essence? What are the implications for her coming over if i enter the pool and state that she is non-accompanying.

OR is it better to go into the pool at 446 and update as her documents get ready?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by Stencil: 3:59am On Jul 18, 2019
If you enter the pool as a single applicant and marry her post AOR, your CRS won't be recalculated. She won't need to write IELTS or evaluate her degrees.

I hope this helps. God's grace with your application.

Blessfem:
Kindly advise, my simulated crs is 460 as single applicant but I haven't entered the pool cos I am waiting for court wedding with my fiance and waiting for her to write ielts. However, today I stumbled on an info that I better dive into the pool and then add her post ita and after court wedding--in a month. Are my being misled. Please help me on what to do or refer me to a related posts that can help. Thanks.

I believe you need your passport to write the exam.

Remicynt:
Hello House,Sorry to digress again. For those that have written IELTS is it a must I have my passport now to write the exam as I have applied for passport since 1st of July and am yet to write it. I intend writing the exam in August so that I can enter the pool by September. Plz I need your opinion.

Children do not have to have the same surname as any of their parents. There is no law supporting this claim. In Ghana for example, it isn't uncommon to come across a family with children who are of the same mother and father but all have different surnames, because they were named after other people.

Magnifico2000:
Is the caregiver job offer real? Someone told me about it but I thought the agent just wanted to swindle me of my hard earned money.
As regards your question, it is going to be tough to claim those kids as they don't have your surname. I believe there should be an affidavit to address that, stating the reasons why they (the kids) aren't having your surname. You can even back it up with blood group docs, medical certificates etc
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by Stencil: 11:23pm On Jul 16, 2019
Play around with CRS tool and use different simulations to see what the best outcome for you would be.

Some options are:
A 2nd degree
Masters
TEF
Max out IELTS
Work experience

TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by Stencil: 11:08pm On Jul 16, 2019
Just durations of work is okay but you still have to have at least one year continuous experience. You can use your NYSC for that.

Kendrix69:
Hello, I have a question. , does short bursts of work count toward my work experience.., like 2-3 , 2-3 months e.t.c

You get max points for masters.

TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by Stencil: 7:45am On Jul 15, 2019
Please check your score here. In regards to your work experience, does the 2 years include NYSC?
You might want to look into getting a second certification of some sort to give you a better advantage.

Also check page one for more detailed information.

You don't have to tell him what it is intended for. "To whom it may concern" works perfectly.

Jenolyfavour:
Hello house, I have a big concern about how to get my reference letter. I work in a government parastatal, and to my family it is a very big deal, well to me too as far as am in Naija.
The problem is that my direct boss has issues with giving out reference letters but am supposed to get it from the HR right? But it has to pass through him, if we know how government work is.
The issues is he will make it a big deal and might want me to resign immediately even before getting the PR.
Please can I write "to whom it may concern" instead of writing to the immigration body.
