If you continue like this we will keep him there till 2023. For now, nobody is qualified. Face reality, the man is going to win with a landslide. Sai Baba |
Where are the 3 NAF JF17s?. |
tiwiex:The French don't like it. That's what is important. He applied poor judgement. Embracing half naked people is not coming down to the level of the masses. They were praising him on the passion he displayed at the world cup but a President is still President. A dad is a dad, a teacher is a teacher. You can button down but there are limits. That's what makes bottoming down meaningful. |
My problem is with idiots who argue that youth is everything and the complain when they see evidence that too much youth and youthfulness sometimes undermine the dignity of office |
Henry240:Cost effective, cheap solution to internal security tasks but it is not an Attack Helicopter. Nigeria will presumably install APKWS/Hydra rockets on them like the Filipinos are doing then you have real insurgent killing machines. |
Speaking further, the CAS noted that the NAF was also expecting the delivery of additional 6 brand new attack helicopters procured from Italy along with the 12 Super Tucano aircraft expected from the United States of America, which would significantly boost NAF’s aircraft holding by the end of 2020. He noted that such unprecedented acquisition of aircraft was last witnessed in the early 80s. He therefore thanked the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Muhammadu Buhari, as well as the National Assembly for their continued support to the Service. What chopper might be coming from Italy for NAF? |
Sizzorkay:Nigeria can get FT-7NI replacement from Pakistan. You are right about Hawk 2000, Yak or L-159 as good replacement craft to look at for LIFT |
Cantonese:Delta, Akwa Ibom, Ebonyi are now strongly APC or will be with two northerners fighting for Presidency. I don't know why you think all southerners hate Buhari because some Igbos hate him. It is arrogant nonsense. |
enonche85:Most PDP supporters are gullible kids without ideology. They follow tribe because of inferiority complex and fear and they follow individuals like GEJ who continually let them down. Wike is a governor who wants to improve his profile. He has to form alliances. You are there getting frustrated. How many Senators does APC have in Rivers State now?. If you are not cowards why are you not asking yourself Why? Wike has been stealing your money. They caught him, facts, figures, documents. They also probably have evidence against him on cultism and militancy. HE will do as they say. My pity is for local breed youths who cannot be ideological for once and follow principles and ideology instead of individuals. "North wants to kill us", that is not an ideology. "Buhari wants to islamize Nigeria", that is not an ideology. "This is how i think our economy, education and health should be managed", that is an ideology. "I think the govt should tax rich people more to generate money for social services", that is an ideology. "I think government should tax rich people less so they can start businesses that employ more people", that is an ideology. Those are the things that Nairaland should be about not following other people's destiny and cheering poli-thievians. |
RevenGeMission:I have not seen a Nigerian talk sense like this in a long time. Please stick to these core values. As for PDP lovers who are following them because of easy flowing cash, I have interesting but disturbing news. Things are going to happen soon. Get off the stupidity budiness. |
CaptainFM1:That's Buhari. Sadauna tried in education and he moved his boys quick into the army. In 2018, you are talking about no WAEC, you are actually the idiot. |
Naijaguy12345:I visited an aunt at UI in 1971. We called her room from reception. Hostel was like 3-star hotel. I am actually sorry for today's youth. |
gaby:Chai . You are the wickedest Nigerian I have seen in ages. Wet in did man do you? |
barineh:Yes. The Hawk will support Alpha Jet. The AH1F is now being upgraded to above MI35M capabilities by Bell Textron. The Hueys can go to Army aviation. CASA can be rigged for ISR. |
wingmanII:I beg your pardon but Buhari was not on this ballot. All politics was local here. APC is winning landslide in 2019. They will open new fronts in SE and SS. We are having SE President in 2023. New parties will do very well in 2019 at the expense of PDP. Many youths will win elections. PDP is dying or dead already. After Buhari, APC is probably dead too. CPC will stand apart from APC Watch out for ADC, ADP, SDP, APGA, CPC in the coming years. |
Only a low IQ person complains about vote buying or thinks that it can be curtailed. There is a big mental problem in this country. It is against my constitutional rights to prevent me from selling my vote if I want to. Also, if I have a good lawyer, I could win damages from any idiot who reports me for selling my vote. How can you prove it? In advanced countries, US for instance, candidates bus their supporters to polling stations. Some even provide transport fare, is that not vote buying?. Nigerians are just dumb. You want to vote a govt to provide infrastructure and roads et.c. That is still vote buying, only with a longer term view and with a view to sharing with other members of the public. The point being made here is that you are NOT being idealistic when you vote because of what you will gain whether it is immediate cash or good programmes. I believe Adeleke is an unrepentant vote buyer. He bought the PDP nomination (He was the worst of the candidates) and his party left him to carry the can in the re-run. That was the limit of his money. Him money don expire. Thank God my state was spared that douchebag of a governor. The Oyetola guy is qualified, cerebral, competent and he knows the issues first hand. |
Hardeysolution:This is it in a nutshell. For those saying Osun State people will regret Oyetola, what are you smoking ?. The worst politician in Nigeria is Adeleke. No achievements, no ideology, no articles, no bills, nothing. Just living on the glory of big brother. GOD has delivered Osun from a Nero. I cannot even wish Adeleke on a state I don't like. |
Shelumiel:Adeleke won't even pay half salaries. Why do you think you are addressing idiots?. As if Aregbesola just woke up and decided not to pay salaries. You only think lile this in nursery schoo. lThere is no money is there is no money. Adeleke will have to sack 50% the workers to pay salaries or stop very vital programs. Whatever happens, there is a price to pay and no amount of dancing can help. People are just not reasoning or lying. |
Getfun:Get serious and learn from this simple reality. Osun State = Fiscally unviable. Osun State = Economically very viable. It is only time you need to turn fiscally un-viable to economically viable, The state has agricultural potentials, 12 higher institutions, gold, precious stones , We need a brain like Oyetola not a dunce like Adeleke. Aregbesola improved education and the first Mechatronics training institute in Nigeria is in Osun State. If oil price improves and all the plans become fruitful, APC will make Osun bloom but we won't have an idiot in govt house. |
bebanky:Why I love this is because Mr smartypants, lightweight, IPOB saviour Saraki thinks he is sleek. If we say Buhari should be more democratic and follow rule of law, then please prepare for the proper use of incumbency and federal power and trickery to get maximum advantage. If you want APC out, only prayers to God will help you but most APC haters are born corrupt people who want to return Nigeria back to the past that GOD hates, By the way, if Adeleke had been governor of Osun State since 2014, he would have owed salaries as well and probably NOT done infrastructure, free education, school feeding and all the laudable things Aregbesola did. The salary issues were caused by oil price crash and Niger Delta bombings done by PDP. They will pay dearly by losing these elections. Adeleke is not competent enough to run Osun State. |
LOL This is to give hope to the hopeless maybe. The defeat of PDP next elections will be unbelievable. I think most PDP politicians already know this but the youth on social media not so sure. Buhari is President till 2023. I am sure though he will be voted out at the 2023 elections. , ![]() |
emerged01:This is what i was saying exactly but it is NOT evil. This is just the alibi. Most Nigerians don't think vigorously. You have to be an idiot to think Adeleke will be Governor. Even if he wins the re-run, it's not going to happen. There is a certain age you get you start thinking realistically. It is GOD who chooses a governor, not money or sentiments. God has said Adeleke will not be Governor. |
Osun people don't really care for Adeleke. Lots of people sold their votes. He won't become governor anyway. Osun cannot be pocketed by Tinubu. There is actually nothing to pocket. Also all these rubbish about unpaid salaries was caused by oil price and Niger Delta bombings. I am very happy that it affected Niger Delta states like Bayelsa as well. Most states owed / are owing worker salaries. |
Far far above others. The only President to handle Nigeria effectively. God might give him two more terms unless you guys get serious about replacements that have integrity. All the jokers in PDP will never win elections. Maybe 2023 you guys can bring Moghalu and Nigerians might consider him. All the Saraki, Atiiku, Tambuwal..even Kwankwaso, no way. |
tuniski:SW detects PDP. The Adeleke case is different. There is local sentiment for the late Isiaka Adeleke. SW does not give a same for PDP but local issues and tensions cause some popular politicians to go to PDP with local votes. In Akwa Ibom also, I don't think the people like Buhari particularly but local issues and tensions will cause 45% to 60% of the votes going to APC in 2019. |
There is NO US intelligence agency called Teneo. If they are paying you 60k a month to be a social media warrior, try to use your head. Do your research and try to make your lies credible. This is an unintelligent lie. |
confistified:It comes down to EFCC. Both parties are offering money. Only one of them has the stick as well as the carrot. |
confistified:It comes down to EFCC. Both parties are offering money. One of them has the stick as well as the carrot. |
Saraki can't be Nigeria's President, not to talk of being the best. The man is a crook. A failed Bank owner. He is the most ordinary, most typical Nigerian politician. He does not believe that any change is necessary. He is also a dictator. So on this one go and see the way Kwara State is. Ask his former PDP colleagues who have left him. Ask why the NASS is not sitting now. Selfish, trickster deceiving only the dunces amongst the youth. Someone said he is handling Aso Rock cabals....lol. I am shaking my head for the sheer amount of idiots we have in this country. When Buhari got fed up with IPOB and was dealing with them, Saraki was in the background cheering quietly now he is using the head of every unexposed dunce from SE/SS who are so plagued with complex tgey don't even realized they are being played. Saraki who did not hesitate to shenck the hapless Jonathan. In fact I don't believe u na mumu don do. U na mumu just start sef. |
PDP should report the wards and PUs that the votes were removed from. There should be a re run in those places as well. I dont know how this statement helps their cause. Only another re-run is posdible now |
As an APC supporter, this is my take. Sentiment about late Isiaka Adeleke YES, 45% Salaries YES, 30 % reason DavidO YES, 25% reason Saraki NO, -100% reason . I don't think most people know Yorubaland and Osun State. David O really tried for his family. He rallied the youth vote. The youth vote anywhere in Nigeria is the main vote. As for Saraki, please stop deceiving yourselves as he is deceiving himself. The Adeleke name does not need him. |
This is the first win that the PDP is experiencing in a looong time obviously the whole body is shaking. The party PDP is goimg to lose in all the other elections except SE/SS. Now this Adeleke is not likely to get into government house. In the unlikely event that he does, then Osun State is screwed. The man is not qualified for the executive branch. There is only one way he is going to pay salaries that is generating so much ill will and that is by SACKING thousands of workers. The dancing senator without any apparent qualifications would then realize that it is sometimes more expensive to sack workers when you are owing them. Everything looks easy now from the outside. For schools, he will have to reintroduce school fees and take away school feeding program, another wahala The problem I have with Nairaland is too many kids, not enough brains and people oversimplifying complex problems. Adeleke, if he becomes Governor ( chances are that he won't, you can hate me if you like) would have to be ten times more draconian than Aregbesola and he will rue why he ever went into office. |
