BurningBlade:We are giving Buhari 4 more good years. Nothing is going to shake it. Do you wanna bet? |
DanielOc:This is arrant nonsense. By the way, what does this guy Adeboye know?. Do you know how many state governors are owing salaries?. What of the infrastructural development that the Aregbesola has built?. And about revolution. Do you know what it is? . Revolution is a violent uprising of people usually poor against an oppressive regime backed by rich people. The people you should have rebelled against have stolen your future and your children's in 2014/2015. If it is Buhari you want to revolt against then you are a fool. To say Jonathan is a good man ..this is serious destiny manipulation o. Why are Nigerian youths so stupid?. We have the most docile, tribalistic, counter revolutionary young people in this country. Jonathan maybe they will even arrest him abroad for Malabu oil. Malabu oil, they gave an Ijaw man the richest oil field in Africa but he sold it to Shell and shared the money to Jonathan, Hausa people, OBJ and many other people. Serious destiny manipulation and your sentiment and emotion will blind you. What are they even revolting about? DavidO will soon show off his Bentley and private jet on Instagram again this month. The dancing senator is from a dynasty of very rich, very comfortable people. Revolution ABI? Let me also shock you, Senator Adeleke cannot do that job. He cannot be an Executive Governor of any state to save his life. I say it again, your destiny is being used for super mario |
mknigeriagreat:This is a stalemate. There will be another election. |
RebelChip:APC is not a Yoruba party. PDP is also not a SE party. Very soon the flag bearer of PDP will be a northerners. He will LOSE but he will be a northerner. The problem we have with SE politics is the fear, parochialism and inferiority complex that makes them give 98% to a particular party. It is very demeaning of such a people. Even the North is showing only 60/40 for Buhari now in most places. You guys should change otherwise you will remain the rump of Nigerian politics. |
babytoun:Wait for Ilesa votes |
kingshrd:It is lack of empathy not to see that people like Kwankwaso, Makarfi, Shekarau (who finally left) may prefer Buhari to Saraki or Atiku. If their ambitions are not met they will defect back. |
dman4mdmoon:No Yoruba man will post this as fake. It displays basic lack of understanding of what is on ground. We know where the fakery is coming from. |
APC will win Osun. They have never won Ife before so what's the biggie. Omisore (SDP) will take Ife, not even PDP. PDP is not in the contest in Osun State. |
kikuyu1:How is global warming a scam?. He did not even address global warming in his post. He merely related a very well researched cause of common seasonal climatic & weather phenomena. He even left out ocean currents and the ploar ice caps which are the real movers of cold and heat across the globe that warm up large parts of the atmosphere and seed the storms and tornadoes. We need to wake up. All these 9 to 5 mundane life, lazy dismissals of scientific fact and lies promoted by people like Trump who is big fool...we need to wake up. |
These geological theories confirm the Biblical creation story, line by line. Just equate one verse to 7000 years from Genesis 1:1 |
Yorubas hate Saraki thoroughly. The man is a thief. Why he impresses in the SE is a surprise. I will reserve my comments but Igbos should stop taking our waste materials. It is not good for pride. In any case pls don't push tribal agenda with Yorubas. |
FarahAideed:So you have cowardly shifted the goal post back to 1983/84. This is the mark of cowards. NPN looted your country between 1979 and 1983. They racked up debts that were unverifiable and the oil price crashed on them. Nigeria was the world's largest importer of rice in just the middle two years of that regime. Of course the Army decided to push them out. The people who planned the coup; Bako, Abacha, Taiwo, Idiagbon, IBB, . The man who they made HoS because of Integrity was Buhari. Buhari balanced budgets, restricted imports, and we were paying our loans off (the ones we could verify). We had paid off 3/4 of loans off when IBB pre emptively struck before he was retired as C of Army Staff. Nigeria was completely ruined morally, socially, evon9mically and socially by IBB. You are still suffering part of IBB damage to Nigeria even now although you probably don't know it. |
FarahAideed:An administration of 3.5 years CANNOT be responsible for poverty. Look at the catchment age of those affected. Poverty was a PDP achievement. There was always poverty during Abacha regime but I believe it actually started worsening during OBJ's second term. OBJ neglected the poor and spent the next 4 years raidin3g billionaires, giving tax breaks and neglecting HDI. All of us were dummies living in cities, driving two cars per family, burning imported diesel for power and deceibing ourselves. When Yaradua died and the empty GEJ came in, poverty became endemic in the North. Amnesty program, NDDC, and 13% derivation were the killer blows to the North made worse by the lack of intelligence of the Northern governors all PDP. Let us a'll say the truth and shame the devil. The PDP must never be allowed in power ever again. If they delivered poverty after an unprecedented oil boom, what will they do with scarcity? |
American government "marked" the money that was sent via wire transfer to pay for arms. How low must your IQ be to believe this story?. Then there was some alert received by someone of a transaction on his CITIBANK account thro ZENITH BANK. Chai. Nigeria's youth is wasted. They are using your DESTINIES to play super Mario, the way fake news destroys your mentality. The part I like was ., US govt arms embargo on Goodluck Jonathan one thing, one thing. Idiocy from top to bottom. |
Neyoor:How are Ayedaade LGA people voting?. Hope we are APC? |
Pavarottii:For those importing used clothes and lying about their petrol imports figures maybe the economy was better. The PDP was the dictatorship of 20% urban/mega city middle class dwellers with their two cars, Dubai trips and corruption driven fake life over the 80% true Nigerians in semi urban and rural areas. The mega cities of Lagos and Abuja and other cities like PHC have a large proportion of semi urbanites as well. This is why APC will keep winning and to be honest Buhari cannot finish the work of TRUE, SUSTAINABLE and UNFAKED development, someone else has to finish it. Meanwhile shallow urban middle middle class can keep hoping that things will change back to the robbery of the past I stead of joining the FG in bringing true deep development and growth. |
Henry240:This is a mortar carrier. |
Delivar:The thread is about fakery. Brains are to be used vigorously and without deceiving oneself. I have worked in two blue chip companies on three continents. Take it from me, Nigeria is the fakest country in the world. Some guys actually think that now because Buhari is in power, 74 years old and former career military they can bring up OMMISSIONS from the PDP and wrap it on him to make some point that we need a FAKE like themselves. You say most Nigerians are uneducated, that's why Buhari is President so let's do the math. PDP was in power from 1999 to 2015. That's 16 years they had manufacturing this uneducated youth population at a time when oil prices was >$100 barrels. The average age of those who will vote is 25. This age is the impacted demographic age of PDP in governance, yet the indices are so poor in terms of education. By the way, while we were manufacturing this uneducated population and deepening the poverty of the Abacha generation, the man who was President had a PhD. Key ministers under that govt had worked for global corporations, world bank, donor agencies et.c. We practically imported the best of Nigeria's diaspora into Nigeria thro OBJ and they FAILED miserably. There is nothing modern about human mindsets. It is the processes they use and tools they apply running those processes that are sometimes modern. If you go to Europe now, fear, ethnic domination, racism et.c are rising. Rising because they were never gone. They were always there only economic conditions drove them into collective sub conscious but now immigration and terrorism are bringing them forwards. Sorry some of us are easily irritated by sham. I am watching all presidential candidates. You need to show me your genuine love for country, your passion, courage and drive before I give you my vote not your suit, tie and fancy CV. You will be effective and fail without the basic human qualities of leadership whivh won't change. |
jakeporeshenko:They are standing inside it. Not a trench. The N.A. will / should continue to combine trench and HESCO for small base defences. HESCO is expensive initially but pays off long term. Nothing replaces platoon level intelligence, scouting techniques, TTTPs and discipline. |
What modern mindset 4ubbish. We had gangsters, militants, treasury looters, cultists and godfathers in PDP. They were looting Nigeria dry. We changed it. There is no modern mindset in the principles of leadership. A leader is a leader. You have principles, vision, know where you are going and people will follow you. There is no modernity in looting your country to keep the money in the country that formerly colonalised you. Modern life is freedom to develop your potentials, progressivism, social conscience, paying your taxes and seeing the results. However, if 70% of your country is poor, you dont cowardly pretend that the poverty was not there and share money to idle rich who buy private jets dont put the money in productive ventures and dont pay taxes. That is cluelessness. This was where we missed it. Hopefully, Buhari/Osinbajo will rectify things with investment in infrastructure and SIP. One major issue is that Nigerians don't know what they don't know. Anybody who has worked and lived abroad won't have posted this title thread. It is IGNORANT. The US has the most ignorant citizens about the global world around them. Iran is ruled by Mullahs (Sharia people) but is 98% literate and very highly educated. Saudi Arabia is very rich but it's citizens don't work. UAE (including Dubai) is not a democracy, they are ruled by a King and essentially an Islamic country. However they are actually more modern in amenities than most Europen countries. All the talent that it is being building and developing UAE is from the British in almost every sector. So you are mixing up a lot of rubbish together. Nigeria is the most sophisticated country in Africa politically, even more than S. Africa. So we are not mostly uneducated. In democracy, people vote character, religion, ideology and nationalism rather than empty PROMISES or pretence about CV. You can talk from now to next year if you don't show me your love for Nigeria, what you have done for it in the past , how you have fought against all odds to institute and sustain progress in your field I won't vote you. It is not a 9 to 5 job. It is people's destiny. Your CV is meaningless. Your love of country, strength, endurance and will are the issues because ...they will "try" you. |
Regionalism is a known failure. Military regimes are a known failure. It is dishonest to think regionalism succeeded. Thesis is like the idiotic girl feeling for an ex bf just because her current relationship is on the rocks. Regionalism killed two premier's, caused the oppression 9f northern Christians, led to pogrom. It is outdated in this global context of trade blocs and economies of scale. If you hate Fulanis people or Nigeria, at least find an original solution. Don't bring the failed past and call it success. |
This is now the current degradation level of PDP. The man who uttered this nonsense is 60 and went to an Oxbridge university. The PDP is expired. I think they have thrown in the towel for 2019, so it is all the low brow, low intellect stuff we will get from them now. |
You can see where the 40,000 police men figure was pulled from. Out of someone's ass. I have read the body of the article and no Police spokesman has given any figure. But that 40,000 is the figure the unfounfortunate ng people of Nigeria will ride with for the next few weeks. A LIE but most young people of this generation are a walking LIE. |
centoke30:Of course he does not make noise. He is a crook and a cultist. He should be in hiding. He completely destroyed Rivers State |
Tomibyte:She understood it more than most. She collected taxes better, she financed SIP, she removed wasteful spending. Very intelligent and down to earth lady. If she is tried, jailed and pardoned by Buhari she can restart her political career. |
She has to be tried, sentenced to community service or pardoned by Buhari. Presidential pardon is best. The woman is actually talented and hard working and wants to remain in politics. What Buhari should now do is replace her with a core Hausa Fulani appointee and GOD will cut off the head of any IPIB who complains. |
cheango:She is not resigning again. The case is still under inquiry. |
dingbang:Better than selling it for ZERO Kobo like they did with PDP for 16 years. |
This guy is a THIEF. Any Nigerian politician who uses the phrase "rule of law" all the time simply means delayed prosecution, legal tricks are morally acceptable for "big men" but nothing of course for the poir. "Rule of law", this shameless coward held kangaroo hearings to confirm the EFCC chief who was investigating more than half of the Senate members and non of them recused themselves as "interested parties". That is all the respect they have for a country that has given them far more than other citizens. |
Fineman87:IBB, Abacha, GEJ , OBJ all appointed their trusted people as DSS. OBJ "retrieved" a retired ex DSS colonel to be his DSS, no body complained. Forget Dasuki, we all know why GEJ put him there. He was going to annoint him his northern successor in 2019 and he was also needed to channel money for politics. GEJ never made mistakes with his security appointments ; - Azzazi, Minimah, Ihejirika, Ekpenyong, ..there was even an Ibo man appointed DSS for a short while. Never liked GEJ but we never accused him of tribalism in key appointments. Even Dieziani, the Petroleum Minister was his relative. It is the prerogative of the Predident to appoint anybody. Trump his using all his children in the white house. Turkish President made his in law the Finance Minister. |
giles14:Boko Haram is commander in chief of lies. They actually have people working for them on social media hyping up and trying to make their operations look coordinated or focussed on objectives whereas all they do is attack weak locations at well chosen times, steal weapons run and then go on sovial media to tweet or post. They have lost ground holding capability hence remain technically defeated. If NAF gets enough Super Tucano aircraft and the NA gets aviation units, they will be history |
Permit me to say this is a dumb topic. Who asks this kind of questions?. You are bitter and angry with Nigeria and you think asking unintelligentquestions will relieve you of your resentments. The British amalgamated Nigeria for their own aggrandizement. They owned the two protectorates. They joined them together for administrative convenience or for Lugard's ego. It all does not matter. You might as well ask how a man joined his master bedroom to the wife's bedroom for all we care...al. the same type of redundant question. All the founding fathers you mentioned had the option of separating during the constitutional conference but they did not. And why should they?. Zik was born in Zungeru had his major political and editorial career in Lagos., Akintola went to school in the North. Much later, Ojukwu, Nzeogwu et.c all had the best parts of their lives in the north. Nigeria was always a real, single and amalgamated entity. It is resentment, hatred and sheer bloody mindedness that mskes some people dumb enough to think they can break it. So dashing heads against rocks, the rocks font really feel it and they don't shift |
