This R-APC is actually Buhari faction. It is Buhari himself trying to raise factions to challenge other factions trying to share posts within APC. Most kids on Nairaland are too duncy to even realize that. Binary minded simpletons. |
jakeporeshenko:Indonesia manufactures helicopters we must remember |
North Korea cannot shut down its reactors just like that. I don't think it's technically possible to flick a switch and reactors die. Nuclear reactors also have a lot of peaceful uses anyway. The problem also is Trump himself who is probably the most stupid US President in modern history not knowing he is just going to achieve with N, Korea exactly what Clinton, Bush and Obama achieved, - a mix of moratorium on development and acceptance of N. Korean capability N. Korea will expand its nuclear facilities and continue improving its missile technology as a negotiating tactic. Trump thinks he knows "The Art of The Deal" but there is probably a better book written in North Korea. The new US Secretary of State was heard saying this week that the aim of the US is to " secure and retrieve all N. Korean nuclear weapons". Well good luck with that. |
It is sad that the Nigerian Church has degenerated to this |
Human Growth Hormone usage maybe. |
This guy is a crook. He is already under investigation for public sector financial crimes including ownership of property in 22 cities with questiomable funding . |
This is OBJ's final move in politics. Knowledgeable people have also observed that removal of IBB, OBJ, Danjuma from Nigerian politics was going to be necessary for Nigeria's growth and development. This is going to happen very soon. |
Look at this one that is more beautiful than Mercy Johnson and still comparing herself |
nemesis8u:I suspect Nigeria has a pipeline to most intelligence material from the US in return for us spying on ISIS and Al qaeda cells. It is always a mistake to hope on one country's lack of capability. |
kayus89:Buhari did not know Abacha was stealing. Possibly only two ministers and CBN governor knew about the stealing Also Abacha could never have been Buhari's mentor. It was the other way round |
GavelSlam:They were in choir together |
Nukualofa:Datti Baba-Ahmed is very clean but I don't see him winning against Buhari. Atiku will destroy himself if he contests against Buhari. It will be worse than MKO's experience and Nigerians won't like him much with the info that will come out against this guy. That info is much more damaging than Obasanjo's vituperations on US money laundering. Atiku is a NO NO and he himself knows. |
giles14:The Russians are not technologically advanced. The infrastructure that throws out technology talent is under developed. Russia is grossly behind in key AI, robotics and other technologies compared with other countries. The mistake is to compare them with US, they are not even in competition with the US. I am saying against China, Europe and Japan, they are losing tech edge. The problem is over dependence on oil and having a superman surrounded by oligarchs taking all decisions |
Argentina is going out tonight. One man team. Nigeria should have taken them out. They were scared for 90 mins. |
So this Dokubo guy has been in politics since university. He was actually youth founder member of two or three political parties in Nigeria in Rivers State if I recall. To think he won't have met Oshiomole even before he became governor would be remote. So it probably has nothing to do with politics. |
I LOVE RUSSIA. Nigeria owes its recent successes against Boko Haram to Russian weapons. But lets be frank, the U.S military is the most powerful military machine the world has ever seen since the days of Imperial Rome. Its more powerful than the Nazi army of yesterday, its as technologically advanced as Japan and has as much nuclear weapons as Russia. That is a fact no matter how we try to pretend it is a declining power. Minus nuclear weapons, i rate Russia militarily at par with Turkey. |
bidexiii:Last months news. |
Yes the Saudis have actually turned the tide in Yemen. This is just two week old news. I didn't want the Saudis to win in Yemen but it appears by the grace of Sudanese, Chadian and Moroccoan troops they will. Sanctions will start hitting Iran badly this month and they are over extended in Syria and Lebanon. Again I don't want Iran to be too weak in that region but it just might happen. |
Jkay187:Russian footage. They were boasting with the stuff on YouTube. If you want to believe that Russian precision guided weaponry is up to scratch co pared with US and Europe pls go ahead. |
Henry240:I am actually looking for a YouTube Russian aircraft cockpit video. Their own material released at the start of their Syria campaign. Pls stop this stuff about Russian air campaign turned the tide. It is amateurish. Any air campaign turns tides to the full extent that air campaigns can. It does not matter what planes you use. Saudis are turning the tide in Yemen with F16s piloted by inexperienced pilots. It was ground action that won the war. |
I think Russians have been spreading the story like they desperately "need to" and the Americans have been like, " OK, whatever floats your boat". They will not join in any discussion that reveals their tech secrets and they won't even sell the smaller F-35 to Turkey. |
This one is a more seriously cerebral publication : https://sofrep.com/95923/russia-claims-first-interaction-between-f-22-and-su-35-centcom-calls-it-a-fairy-tale/ |
One of the dangers of the social media age is mental timidity and lack of critical thinking. The Russians are actually more sophisticated in propaganda (as seen in the US elections) than designing and fielding modern combat jets. Technology is leaving them and that is why they kept to what they knew best (theoretical aerodynamics) recycling the same SU27 airframe with different engine sizes instead of trying to keep up with advances in stealth and netcentric warfare. I am not even sure they have as much talent in key areas as ordinary Ukraine as we speak |
Covert1:The same internet you read this sources saying that this version of events was fabricated and oversimplified by the Russians. Every country interested is still buying F35s in spite of similar stories some of them even put online by Americans to hide capabilities. |
Covert1:Exactly. So we buy three (3) pieces of the PESA radar SU35 rubbish in a hangar at TAC to bully Chad but we keep two squadrons of JF17 Block 2/3 AESA radar aircraft for the serious business of securing airspace and killing enemy surface forces. |
Covert1:And of course the interdiction was due to technical superiority and not Pentagon not wanting to escalate to lead to a nuclear war. So I am playing with my 13 yo nephew, he hits me on the stomach and i dramatically/playfully fall to the ground so he is champion. Everything depends on the depth and discrimination of thinking you bring to what you read. Meanwhile the SU 35 top of the line variant sports PESA radar. The JF17 variant Nigeria is buying is AESA radar. So apart from a larger weapon load of outdated missiles and range, the SU35 is an inferior aircraft. The range we can have with an airborne refuelling tanker. |
wellmax:The business where 470 people steal N125bn every year. Pls Note this; EVERY YEAR FOR 4 YEARS. nPDP is already arm twisting to get automatic nomination, automatic rigging back to their seats in return they will support Buhari so if you are a PDP supporter or Saraki supporter you need to be asking yourself what inferior destiny is making you support these guys. |
