Yet you still have time to write epistle on religion. You have issues Acidosis: Lol, this is what Muslims say to justify the killing of ram @ sallah.
Let me try and educate you; I guess you're a Moslem.
1. People who kill chicken on Christmas day only wish to enjoy themselves and they can do that so well by eating fish, pork, snail or even decide to take water, garri or fast, in fact. There are absolutely no spiritual or physical significance to the killing, buying or eating of any kind of food or water on Christmas or any other day order than merriment or satisfaction reasons.
2. We do not take Chicken or Ram to a dedicated spot (altar), slit it in the throat and chant "Allahu Akbar" as a false and ignorant memorial to what Abraham did to the animal (ram) God replaced "Isaac" with.
3. It would also do you good to research on the confusion that confronted the writers of Qoran when it comes to the story of Isaac and Ishmael.
4. I won't say more about this oo, so just digest and move on. I stopped intervening on spiritual matters on Nairaland a long time ago. It's a waste of time. |

That is like asking me learn about Christianity from a Muslim or an Atheist. That would be a very enlightening experience, don't you think? Acidosis: I eat meat and I kill meat but I do not do so in the name or to appease any god.

We have had Christians that kill non Christians in the name of Jesus. We have had those that unjustly imprisoned, enslaved people in the name of Jesus. However, you and I these scenarios have nothing to do with Jesus. So what makes you think human sacrifice is a cornerstone of paganism? Too much nollywood and Bible teachings have done a number on most people. Paganism can be practiced without human sacrifice. In fact, it is not enjoined in pagan worship. Animal sacrifice doesn't harm you and it doesn't affect you. You eat meat everyday and you are as guilty as they are. Unless you are a vegan, don't you dare turn your nose down on animal sacrifices. Acidosis: Brainwashed from what to what? From slitting the throats of animals and humans to faith and grace?
If this is what you call brainwashing then you need to see a psychiatrist. |

There is no God except Allah and Muhammad is his messenger. If you are not a Muslim before death comes upon you, you will be damned till eternity. I don't want you to go to Hell fire. Your initial post was really nice. You weren't verbally abusive and you didn't tag your Grandparents such dirty names. Afterall, they are Muslims. I am being sarcastic . Please go and deal with your issues . I hope you are brave enough to tell your sweet grandparents what you think of them. Who knows they may also be sleeper suicide bombers? You know Islam and they are Muslims? luminouz: I'm still interacting with you logically. If you weren't emotional, you would realise that mentioning my grandparents religion showed that I wasn't biased towards any particular religion. I even said Christianity has its own glaring flaws, just like other religions. But you chose to conclude using your own skewered reasoning.
If you were so defensive of a particular religion to the extent of getting verbally aggressive, don't you think you're ACTUALLY proving me right? The other guys who mentioned me interacted logically even when they disagreed with my points. Emulate them, will you?
Hell, you could even be a suicide bomber in disguise! Such passion over religion. |

I found a word based on your descriptions of your Grandparents and you don't like it? Come and bite me Arrant nonsense! Objective indeed! luminouz: If you're not pained, why the insults? I never insulted you, I just made an observation. Instead of logically countering my points, you came with a barrage of insults, even including my folks in it.

What Islam are you talking about? luminouz:

This is the issue I have with Islam. How come a religion of 'peace' is associated with so much violence?
What kind of God asks you to kill yourself, only to get 62/82/1000 virgins in the afterlife? How is virginity a priority when compared with families destroyed and lives lost?
How can you listen to an imam who believes you're chosen by God to blow yourself up,while his sons and daughters school abroad, living a life of wealth and affluence? Why can't his kids do the honours?
How do you follow a mindset that always promotes war, bloodshed and chaos,as the ultimate of all beliefs?
Christianity had its own glaring flaws but never have I heard born again christians blowing up people as a way of life.
I could be wrong but this suicide bomber won't be a christian too |

They fight in other States including SE states Also, there are times when it is local's fault. Case study the fight between Yorubas and Cattle sellers in Bodija that led to the relocation of the cattles market. BoboNkiti19: Aside from few isolated cases of fulani herdsmen doing their hit and run cowardly attacks in Enugu, you will NEVER hear about Northerners boldly fighting Igbos in any part or the East... even in more municipal states like Enugu, dem never born Hausa to fight their host and get away with it. Let's not even talk about hot zones like Aba or Onitsha where Hausa no even get mind to fight Igbos... They know the outcome will be very bloody for them... but compare how Hausas boldly fight yorubbers in Lagos, see the audacity and bravado they display like they own Lagos, unfortunately some yorubbers are either to daft, ignorant, or dishonest enough to see this. But anyway my job of the day has been accomplished... Oke-ado is now on Police lock down and things have settled... but Aboki's will surely have their pride intact and unscathed from the fight... beat banza shege comot for those yorubber boys, area boys just dey for far distance dey shout and make noise have a lovely Sunday guys!

Drug addicts also beg to fund such lifestyles. It is a very terrible lifestyle. The same also happens in the western world. Sex? Yes including being able to have sex with minors with little to no legal consequences. Most of these developing countries are like safe havens for paedophiles.. There are also lots of beautiful tourist attractions. pocohantas: Wow. That is some badass ecosystem. After robbing the rich or maybe his fellow poor people, someone will be silly enough to use it for drugs. Na wa!

What I want to know is, who are they selling to?
'Cos the locals are fucking poor.
