Some girls start period as early as 8. I know one that started that age. She was still her petite self. No one could have known ftom her figute that she had started her period. You should put yourself in their shoes and ask questions instead. You sound like you do not know much about a female''s body.

amicable09:
If I say this now, a thousand and one e-army will come for my head.

But I wish I can see the girl stand fully. Maybe her body is ready for carrying a baby. I just don't know if I went to night school or my knowledge is outdated.

Shebi a girl should have developed Brea.st for two years before she starts menstruating. If she hasn't began menstruating, can she take in? I really don't understand anymore.

A kidnapped 10 year old in February, found pregnant in April. This is hard to believe. This is really hard for me to believe.

Hypocrites everywhere.

While she was single, you insulted her.

Now engaged and pregnant, you continue to despise her.

Y'all will be fine lass lass grin
Celebrities › Re: Nigerians React To Linda Ikeji's Pregnancy News by Sterope(f):
1) Chimamanda has never condemned a woman cooking for her husband. She has never issued a statement suggesting who should cook for the family. And you don't know the family enough to know if their home was purchased jointly.

2) Beyonce has never claimed that women should not take their husband's name. This woman sang a song titled 'single ladies' which some fanatical feminists have issues with, Chimamanda for example has issues with the song because it is makes marriage an aspiration for women. She sang the song before she was married. Beyonce has never advocated for women to leave their cheating husbands or partners. She has some songs about cheats but she is yet to state categorically that a woman must leave a cheat.

3) Do you have any idea how hard Jay Z worked on their marriage after he cheated? You should watch his interview.

4) I cannot see how Cococandy''s marital status affects her views on feminism. She is yet to state that her husband is maltreating her and that she is staying because it is expected of her as a woman.

5) A woman can stay in a bad marriage and can still identify as a feminist. It is about choices and goals.

You are trying too hard to insinuate what is not there. They never claimed or said whatever you are forcing down on them. These pepole are not saying a wife should not be humble and dutiful as expected of any partner in a relationship. They are saying that the society should not treat women less like human. They are advocating for women to be independent. Learn to read and understand! I am not a fan of Chimamanda''s ideas however Beyonce has never contradicted herself and Cococandy is happy with the way her marital life is treating her.

[quote author=TSO.M post=67732810] Huh? Chimamanda has been married for years with a child. She lives in her husband's house and cooks for him too. She never denies that.

Beyonce the supposed poster girl for feminism about a decade ago got married to Jay Z, took on his name (Carter), went on a music tour around the world called 'The Mrs. Carter Show' and she stayed put when Jay Z kept cheating on her. She tolerated Jay Z's cheating and nobody knew until Jay Z admitted it last year.

Feminism is a scam! Feminists are sadistic hypocrites!

Shôllypopz (Nairaland's erstwhile feminist 'champion') got married to Côogar (an acclaimed sexist who used advocated the subservience of women and torture to keep women in line).

Cocôcandy flaunts her family pictures and kid's, and she never fails to mention how her husband 'spoils' her with gifts 'cause he provides for her but she is a supposed feminist.

These pretentious mongrels think they can always deceive everyone.

Her greatest dream is to become a mother...don't be stupid undecided. Should she have announced to you when she stopped being celibate? Awon bad belle!

I suspected as much when she started putting on weight. She has always been fit. Good for her.

swiz123:
So her greatest dream was to become a babymama. SMH.

This goes a long way to explain that no feminist should be trusted; they all are hypocrites.

As to your other question, some people do change their surnames. He can still be using the old one because that is what most know him as.

You are igonorant, arrogant and very rude. It is a wonder you have not realised how dumb you sound. How dare you lecture a woman about her feminine business? What experience and knowledge can you claim to have over my business? Do you also tell your mum how to use her pad the right way? I don't have time for stu_pidity.

walex2:
I dont have time for unnecessary arguement, place the pad you are talking about here. and tell me how many pads you use in total maybe in three to four days you are already using 100 sachets
Health › Re: Lady Buys N500 Sanitary Pad. Cries Out After (Photo) by Sterope(f):
I explored diva once.

I followed a sister to the market. She bought diva. I was surprised with how cheap it was. I was genuinely happy that there were cheaper options for those who cannot afford Always. I told her about Always. She looked at me as if I liked throwing money away. We got home and I exchanged one pad for hers. Thirty minutes later, I ripped off the stu.pid pad. It was too thick and uncomfortable.

You should try tampons. I heard it is less messy and more comfortable once you have gotten the hang of t. I am too scared to try.

pocohantas:
LOL, very funny.
I've never tried any other product though.
Health › Re: Lady Buys N500 Sanitary Pad. Cries Out After (Photo) by Sterope(f):
Are you claiming to know more about sanitary pads than I do? shocked

There are different types Always pads. The night one and the day one. There are 7 in a single pack and 14 in a double pack. Most people use the day one. The woman in question is referring to packs not individual pad because we calculate in packs. Now you wouldn't know that because it is not your forte undecided. Always used to go for N500 per pack. I used to spend N2000 per month. Depends on where you are buying, it can go as low as N350 per pack NOW.

So our madam here uses at least 14 individual pads in one menstruating month.

walex2:
you got it all wrong Always ultra pad is #450 and is 10 in a packs, #450 divide by 10 give you #45 per sachet. So where is #1000 coming from.

Toxic shock syndrome can be life threatening but it is not very common.

MegMich:
Please ladies, whatever you do, stay away from tampons. They can only cause more harm. Toxic shock syndrome is real and common
Health › Re: Lady Buys N500 Sanitary Pad. Cries Out After (Photo) by Sterope(f):
She is talking about Always sanitary pad. If it is not Always sanitary pad, it shouldn't be called sanitary pad. We are self conscious when we are menstruating because it is always an uncomfortable experience. It is worse when you use pads instead of tampons. It is much worse when you use thick sanitary pads like diva instead of always. Diva and other cheap pads are very uncomfortable because they are very thick. Using alternatives increases your conscious and esteem levels go from -1 to -100. They are more suitable for night flow not day flow. A woman who loves herself and who can affors to spend more WILL always opt for Always. Our comfort during that period is non-negotiable. I feel bad for those women that cannot afford Always.

walex2:
my company sells DIVA sanitary pad. it just 2,500 naira per pack. and inside a packs we have 50 sachet, and each sachet contains 2 pads. on the average 2 pads is #60. that is #30 per usage. where is the #1000 coming from per month. is she pouring drums of blood each month??
Health › Re: NAFDAC Seals Off Emzor Pharmaceuticals, Others Over Codeine Abuse by Sterope(f): 5:25pm On May 08, 2018
That is the job of regulatory agency not the manufacturers. They are not responsible for the increase in demand. We are in a capitalist society for goodness sake, our aim is to make as much money as possible. We have regulatory agencies and our taxes go to these bodies because we recognise that capitalism has its ugly sides. Companies are not the government to make rules and regulations on what people should not buy. They are in the market to make money. At most, they advise the government. We should be blaming NAFDAC. Cleary, it has been sleeping all along. Everyone knows of codeine epidemic for some years now. Our senators complained about it and did not do anything to curb its abuse. NAFDAC is just playing to the gallery. NAFDAC is responsible for this epidemic. It didn't do its job, it should stop stifling these companies joor.

onegig:
Kindly ignore that guy. They always bury their heads in the mud and always expect government to do everything.

You can't blame him. Most are educated illiterates who just know how to read and write. Like the company does not know there's a major increase in the consumption of the drugs and just kept churning out drugs they knew was a control substance?

Court marriage will not save a bad marriage and it will not turn an irresponsible man into a responsible husband.
