Ignorance and political mischief will soon set this country on fire.

Nigerians are grossly uninformed despite their education, and terribly unrefined like a barbarian horde.

Little wonder there is jungle justice in every nook and cranny.

A people deviod of logic and reasoning, and very hateful of anyone trying to be rational and shed light on their ignorance.

Good information.

I hope the illiterate mob and anarchists would cure their ignorance and stop brewing a storm in a tea cup.

“All the senators have N200 million (each) as their constituency projects but I am a leader. That is the difference. 10 of us are leaders including those in the opposition. We get more than the floor members. It’s normal.

Hahahahahaha!

The true agenda of the PDP Senator Ningi just dey come out now.

It was obvious that this was a ploy at political mischief.

Where was Senator Ningi when the budget was being debated for months at the NA?

Where was Senator Ningi when the President signed the budget since the end of December?

The country is gone to the dogs.
Actually, our education is gone to the dogs.

The more reason I have been advocating that the government block all the pathways that allow Nigerians take billions of money out of our economy to pursue education abroad.

What manner of country would have a tertiary education budget that is less than what "poor and suffering" Nigerians are able to scrape up inside Nigeria to go pursue education in foreign lands?
PoliticsRe: Budgit Confirms Sen Ningi’s Budget Padding Allegation by StOla: 2:38am On Mar 14, 2024
Our education is poor in Nigeria.

I will implore our teachers to do more to teach better and ensure to fail those who are not able to demonstrate adequate comprehension of the learning objectives.

As have been shown many times in Nigeria, there is always political chaos that is occasioned by lazy reading and poor comprehension of text.
PoliticsRe: Budgit Confirms Sen Ningi’s Budget Padding Allegation by StOla:
It took me less than 1minute to read this news posted, and the news does not in any way even allege that anything criminal has occurred.

Infact, it implied that Ningi has raised a false alarm over a non existent parallel budget that only exist in the imagination of Ningi.

Onigbinde also clearly states that non-granularity of budget allocations is not a today case.

Onigbinde further said as the rowdy session by Senate was ongoing, the Budgit team fact-checked claims by Ningi.

He said, “As the Senate rowdy session was going on, we were also fact-checking and one of the things we found out is that we were not able to lay hold to the claim by Senator Ningi. A budget of N28.7trn was passed into law and we were not able to see where N3.7trn (was missing).
Onigbinde concluded that such non-granularity poses a transparency issue that could be better addressed, and if looking from that angle and considering that the MDAs budget component of the total N28T is N25T while the Government Enterprises Budget component is about N2T, that could together account for the N3.7T that Ningi has been shouting about.

Simple put, Ningi's outcry is due to poor understanding and ignorance.

A whole storm in a tea cup due to poor comprehension, while still not ruling out dementia and political mischief.

Agreed it is not personal enjoyment money, but times without number we have seen how some have converted it to one.
Finally, a sane human being.

Your fears are justified. That is where the EFCC and ICPC come in if the National Assembly itself does not have an organ that verifies the implementation of the budget components that relate to those constituency project allocation.

Even the whole budget, it is the responsibility of the National Assembly to verify that the Executive has implemented the budget as approved.

So constituency project monies are supposed to be received personally, by legislooters?
They are telling you what they got allocated to them.

How the funds are received is best left for the existing laws that govern such senatorial projects.

Welcome to Tinubu's Rubber Stamp Senate headed by the notorious political criminal called Akpabio.

See how they're sharing the Nation's wealth amongst themselves, while the zombies in this forum supporting and singing their praises don't have up to N3mil home and abroad.

Welcome to Nigeria.
Welcome to the norm.

Nothing to do with Tinubu that you so earnestly want to rope into a crime that does not exist.

Constituency Project is not a new development and the legislators will never ever get the same amount of funding.
PoliticsRe: N500m ‘Largesse’: I Received ₦266M - Senator Abaribe by StOla: 9:16pm On Mar 13, 2024
Why do we like behaving like barbarians and beer parlour analysts?

Constituency project is not a new thing for the legislators of the National Assembly?

Can you imagine? So, of course I got 266 million for what’s called Zonal Intervention Fund which Nigerians call “constituency project” funds. And this thing takes a budget circle which is twelve months. So if at the end of twelve months you don’t see what’s in the budget for your constituency, then you hold your representatives whether in the Reps or Senate culpable.
Again, legislators never ever get the same amount.

It is not personal enjoyment money that was shared to them.

Some Nigeria don already the celebrate with..

God help us .. we the citizens ..
If only you were using your brain to reason, you would know something is wrong with Senator Ningi.

He must not be mentally alright like you who is blind to a recorded recent history.

In a statement issued by Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the Presidency has described Ningi’s claims as false, insisting that Tinubu never presented a budget of N25 trillion on November 29, 2023 but N27.5 Trillion to the joint session of the National Assembly made up of N9.92 trillion recurrent expenditure, Debt Service N8.25 trillion and Capital Expenditure N8.7 trillion.

He described Ningi’s view as strange view stating that there was no way the Senate could have debated and passed a N25 trillion budget that was not presented to the National Assembly.

This too will be swept under the carpet. Maybe he wasn't carried along in d deal reason why he had to expose them. This has nothing to do with the interest of the masses
We will not allow anything to be swept under the carpet.

Senator Ningi must explain how the Senate debated and passed a N25T budget when the Executive never submitted a N25T budget proposal, nor did the Senate pass a N25T budget.

It is time that mischief makers are thoroughly dealt with.

I repeat, nothing must be swept under the carpet.

The National Assembly is not for comedians or those suffering from dementia.

They have ulterior motives. cheesy
Believe you me!
The ulterior motive is from the demented Senator Ningi who is living in a delusion that the Senate debated and passed a N25T budget that only him knows about.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu, Akpabio, Others Meet In Aso Rock After Ningi’s Suspension by StOla: 1:40am On Mar 13, 2024
According to him N25 trillion budget was debated and passed, not the N28.7 trillion that is currently being implemented.
The above claim from Ningi is what shows that he is either suffering from dementia or he is a rabble-rouser who is up to mischief and should be suspended till he is ready to reveal who are his backers trying to stoke anarchy in the country.

What manner of fellow would make a foolish claim that N25T budget is what was debated and passed when all the recorded proceedings and news coverage for both local and international news media reported otherwise.

Only Ningi is suffering from dementia, let him go and treat himself while he is on suspension.

If they need $50m to stop their crimes, I will rather take a foreign loan of $5b to wipe them off the face of the earth, and then set up a security structure that will ensure that the country will never have any nuisance harbour such thought not to talk of congregating and attacking law abiding and productive citizens.

Continue to live in your delusion of rewriting history.

You are irrelevant to a history that is already documented.

Is this the same Kaduna that is the headquarters of the Nigerian Army and Nigerian Air Force?

The federal government should give full support to the Governor to secure his state.

FG should provide support, but the state government must lead the attack to identify and neutralise these kidnappers.

Kukutenla:
Oh shut it!!
Can you say you were aware of the 500m before now?
Can you say with full confidence that the 500m will be judiciously spent?
You mean no federal government or state government should pass budget again because Mr Kukutenla cannot say with full confidence that it would be judiciously spent?

You will surely find a cure for your sickness before this world is over.
