When Coronavirus started in China,
It gave other countries enough room to prepare and put things in place.
But it is rather unfortunate that our country never took it serious from the very beginning

And am going to point out some mistakes Made by the government which put you and I in this lockdown mess.


THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD HAVE SHUTDOWN SOME HOTELS FOR RETURNEES.


1: when the COVID-19 was announced in other countries the first thing Nigerian government should have done was to shutdown airport no going out.
Those who want to come back from other countries to Nigeria should be picked from the airport straight to the hotels reserved by the government for them.
They don't need to put all of them in one room each person should have a room,
That way the Government will have a close watch on them .
they won't move to anywhere ,they can't come in contact with any family member or friend until they are being tested negative then they can go home.

imagine if all those who returned from abroad had been moved to a place on arrival
you and I will not be in this mass of a lockdown.
Normal activities will still go on in this country.
No sleepless nights or fear.


2: when the government announced lockdown they never made provision for its citizens,
We all know that most Nigerians live on daily income.
Sharing food to the poor is good but we should Also not forget that some people are living with one sickness or the other , some people don't eat a particular kinda food they are on special diet
Recommended by their doctor.

When government give such people what their health forbids them to eat what good have they done to them?
Why not give them this money to buy what they can eat?
Another big mistake from our Government.

3: the truth is I don't see Nigerians staying at home cos Hunger is beginning to set in
We have reach the extent that trucks carrying food are being hijacked on their way .
Tell me which company will want their goods hijack by
Hungry youths on its way for delivery
Am sure non
cos we are talking millions here.
And this act wil lead companies to stop production
Imagine a bus carrying bread for sale being hijacked and all bread forcefully taken by hungry youths
Will they produce bread again?

3: if the government want Nigerians to stay at home
I think they should Pay money to their accounts
If the government say they want to concentrate on the old and poor people for me is a wrong move
most Nigerians have BVN pay money to their accounts
Imagine an old woman with 5 children who doesn't have a bank account but her children have
When her children receive money from the Government it will get to her
her children will certainly not forget her.
So what are we saying?

Now Nigerians have come in terms with reality Coronavirus is very much in the country.

Government needs to double it's efforts
In fighting Hunger to prevent people from falling back into their normal activities.
