Thanks for the clarification. Will look into it all. I need to come renew my passport at this time. All efforts to renew it here seems not to be yielding results. I need to get an OPT to work post graduation and at this time, I am told that I need to renew my passport before the approval of my OPT EAD thus, I need to come to Nigeria where I can quickly do it since there are many offices. Leaving them for the three weeks, I feel might be lot more stressful and I am thinking of moving to another state for work upon return because of the opportunities. My thought therefore is if we all come to Nigeria, it will save the cost of rent although it will be a little more expensive however, the utility for the grandparents and family members outweighs the cost.

I have it in mind that the only people we will visit are my parents and her parents. Uncles and aunties (I mean our siblings) can visit our parents when we do. That way, we will reduce his exposure to people. I wish I could just do the passport renewal here and be done with it but I am feeling stressed calling offices that wouldn't pick up, e-mails that are not responded to, and a bureaucratic process that is unfair.
Ok...
Just make sure to factor in availability of booklet here also do you don't get stuck here.
Getting him vaccinated and limiting exposure should be fine.

Interestingly, I had always suggested CSection and we were okay with it if it was suggested. However, at the 20week scan, we were told her cervix was good and we should be able to have our baby without issues. My annoyance was they acting like I am not important for anything meanwhile they were billing everything to my insurance. My thought about this and coupled with what I have read about how some men do not regards their baby mamas as much is that it is all a fall out of this where you are treated more as a sperm donor than being a dad. As such, it will take someone who grew up in a balanced home and appreciates the influence of his dad to be able to understand that the process was just for a few days.

Please, when you had you son, did you get an ETC to bring him into Nigeria or you used a visa on arrival. I am trying to see if we can come home for Christmas to give our son the opportunity to meet his maternal grandparents and his aunties, uncles, and cousins. Since we do not have enough time coupled with the slow work process at the Nigerian High Commission, I want to consider which is going to be my best option.
My take is, the sequence of priority is safety of mother then child..in the grand scheme of child delivery the partner is only a partner nothing else at that point and considering most times partners aren't legally in a union with the baby mothers they don't regard them. Money/insurance matter isn't even relevant at that point cos worst case they'd charge it to Medicaid.
My delivery was all about me, my husband was just there to witness the birth of his son...the only time he had to sign anything was when filling the doc for birth certificate after delivery and the birth certificate reads "sons name born to my name"...then his father's name somewhere further down grin compared to our naija BC.
I used ETC cos it was easiest at the time, visa on arrival wasn't as popular as it is now....so Visa on arrival would be your best bet.
However, you might want to reconsider your trip till he's a bit older....coronavirus/lockdowns...but if you must do ensure he gets a bcg vaccination when you arrive naija (against tuberculosis) before you start exposing him to people...BCG is given at birth in Nigeria but not in the US so he isnt covered against it.

The worst was at that point, no one asked me question and everything was directed to my wife.
Can someone please share the link to the newborn thread? I am sure I could make use of so much information from there.
@bolded, I guess you were expecting naija style seeking consent from the husband rubbish grin grin

I felt like I was reading a thesis, very well detailed.
Congratulations once again.

My application is now 240days old. Requested gcms notes and got this-->
"This is with respect to your GCMS Notes order. We have received a message from IRCC that your order will be delayed.
IRCC has sought an extension of 90 days beyond the statutory time limit of 30 days to process the request. Below is the email that we received from them.

I wish to inform you that, in accordance with the Access to Information Act, an extension of 90 days beyond the statutory 30 day limit is necessary to process your request. This extension is due to a large number of records or necessitates a search through a large number of records and meeting the original time limit would unreasonably interfere with the operations of the government institution."

Monday prayer

Heavenly Father, we come to you again with a heart full of adoration and a mouth full of praises. We thank you for seeing us through the month of October, for all the successful supernatural deliveries and BFPs results. We are eternally grateful for your grace and mercies in our lives and we ask that you continue to shower us with your love. We are especially grateful for turning the story on your daughter threegees life, no woman should lose her life in the process of bringing a life to this earth.
We commit our November mothers into your hands and ask that you grant them supernatural deliveries of healthy mother and baby(ies).
Lord, as you have blessed us with these pregnancies we also ask that you provide for us everything ( financially, emotionally, spiritually and psychologically) needed to take care of the children you are entrusting in our care....
You said 'none shall be barren'. We are standing on your words and asking that you grant our TTC mothers their heart desires, especially those who have given up or at the verge of giving up.

We ask through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Good evening family and happy new month to us all.
Please can a doctor in the house help me interpret this test result?

I'll share a story about this later by God's grace. Thanks
Not a doctor...but the comment is self explanatory. The hcg levels fall within the 4-5 weeks pregnant range and you've been asked to monitor and confirm the hcg levels keep rising to confirm progress.

Congratulations.

Good afternoon, my wife just vomiting although she is 6wk plus. Can d vomit be stopped.

The food she ate, she's vomiting it.

Thanks in anticipation.
Congratulations to you both.
Unfortunately, the vomiting is as a result of surge in hormones so it cannot be stopped per say until her hormones becomes more stable. But she can do things to help reduce the vomiting.
Eat in small quantities
Don't drink water immediately after eating
Don't lie down immediately after eating
Stay away from very spicy or smelly foods (with strong aroma)
Eat bland foods like bread/fried yam
Take her folic acid at night

The vomiting will reduce/stop around the 12th week for most people.
Help her with cooking if you can or eat out cos I found that cooking and inhaling smells that period was as bad as eating it.

Present cappo.. I have not bought anything yet o, I don't know why I am not in a hurry probably because this is my third missionary journey.. My third trimester packages are tiredness, backache and spitting.. cry
I think its partly because the "first baby excitement " isn't there anymore and you'd most likely still have stuff your older kids used so no hurry grin
Spitting? cry
I complained to my doctor about tiredness and he said its probably because I'm jobless and sleeping too much thats why I'm always tired cos my body isn't used to being idle. Na work I no get, I no kee person grin

Hello house. pls for clarity sake, is FERTILAID FOR MEN the same thing as FERTIL SUPPORT FOR MEN? I mean do they do the same sperm boosting or one is more efficient than the other?

Thanks alot
They are 2 different brands that treat infertility in men.
Fertilaid is a foreign brand, fertil support is a nigerian brand.
You might need to compare the composition of both to see which is better
