thejourney200:Ok... Just make sure to factor in availability of booklet here also do you don't get stuck here. Getting him vaccinated and limiting exposure should be fine. |
thejourney200:My take is, the sequence of priority is safety of mother then child..in the grand scheme of child delivery the partner is only a partner nothing else at that point and considering most times partners aren't legally in a union with the baby mothers they don't regard them. Money/insurance matter isn't even relevant at that point cos worst case they'd charge it to Medicaid. My delivery was all about me, my husband was just there to witness the birth of his son...the only time he had to sign anything was when filling the doc for birth certificate after delivery and the birth certificate reads "sons name born to my name"...then his father's name somewhere further down compared to our naija BC.I used ETC cos it was easiest at the time, visa on arrival wasn't as popular as it is now....so Visa on arrival would be your best bet. However, you might want to reconsider your trip till he's a bit older....coronavirus/lockdowns...but if you must do ensure he gets a bcg vaccination when you arrive naija (against tuberculosis) before you start exposing him to people...BCG is given at birth in Nigeria but not in the US so he isnt covered against it. |
thejourney200:@bolded, I guess you were expecting naija style seeking consent from the husband rubbish ![]() I felt like I was reading a thesis, very well detailed. Congratulations once again. |
My application is now 240days old. Requested gcms notes and got this--> "This is with respect to your GCMS Notes order. We have received a message from IRCC that your order will be delayed. IRCC has sought an extension of 90 days beyond the statutory time limit of 30 days to process the request. Below is the email that we received from them. I wish to inform you that, in accordance with the Access to Information Act, an extension of 90 days beyond the statutory 30 day limit is necessary to process your request. This extension is due to a large number of records or necessitates a search through a large number of records and meeting the original time limit would unreasonably interfere with the operations of the government institution." |
I really wish I got lots of NIO shares. Got them at 14.18 now 39.12 |

19CannyMum:Its quite exciting indeed. We thank God for his mercies. |
Monday prayer Heavenly Father, we come to you again with a heart full of adoration and a mouth full of praises. We thank you for seeing us through the month of October, for all the successful supernatural deliveries and BFPs results. We are eternally grateful for your grace and mercies in our lives and we ask that you continue to shower us with your love. We are especially grateful for turning the story on your daughter threegees life, no woman should lose her life in the process of bringing a life to this earth. We commit our November mothers into your hands and ask that you grant them supernatural deliveries of healthy mother and baby(ies). Lord, as you have blessed us with these pregnancies we also ask that you provide for us everything ( financially, emotionally, spiritually and psychologically) needed to take care of the children you are entrusting in our care.... You said 'none shall be barren'. We are standing on your words and asking that you grant our TTC mothers their heart desires, especially those who have given up or at the verge of giving up. We ask through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen. |
1witGod:Not a doctor...but the comment is self explanatory. The hcg levels fall within the 4-5 weeks pregnant range and you've been asked to monitor and confirm the hcg levels keep rising to confirm progress. Congratulations. |
Opsycal:Amen ooo! He has started and would complete his awesome works in our lives. |
thejourney200:Tag Dominique to find out what you're doing wrong. Maybe you mentioned a medicine or hospital brand or something |
fizcoo20:You're welcome |
Ameliag:Thanks dear |
fizcoo20:Congratulations to you both. Unfortunately, the vomiting is as a result of surge in hormones so it cannot be stopped per say until her hormones becomes more stable. But she can do things to help reduce the vomiting. Eat in small quantities Don't drink water immediately after eating Don't lie down immediately after eating Stay away from very spicy or smelly foods (with strong aroma) Eat bland foods like bread/fried yam Take her folic acid at night The vomiting will reduce/stop around the 12th week for most people. Help her with cooking if you can or eat out cos I found that cooking and inhaling smells that period was as bad as eating it. |
Darsty99:I think its partly because the "first baby excitement " isn't there anymore and you'd most likely still have stuff your older kids used so no hurry ![]() Spitting? I complained to my doctor about tiredness and he said its probably because I'm jobless and sleeping too much thats why I'm always tired cos my body isn't used to being idle. Na work I no get, I no kee person ![]() |
FlowerGirl040:Belly band actually, not belt. |
