I really doubt if this is allowed cos mine was seized before boarding in 2015. I almost ran mad as twas meant for my 1 year plus boy, who ended up not taking anything till we got to US. I don't even want to remember how I pleaded wt those FAAN officials at d "stop n search" unit of the airport. After seizing my food, they advised me to hide my bottled water inside my jacket as the airline(emirate) won't allow me board wt it. Twasn't funny honestly, but you can still give it a try. Can someone else relate with this?

There's no law against carrying food. Only liquids.
I almost always carry my food (although I just buy at the airport and take through security... depending on where I buy from).

i thought Emirate was cheaper. i avoided them due to the longer flight time. it was showing 35hrs flight time

If you really want my opinion, I'd say give it a rest. Forget about the US for now. Your credibility is already damaged and desperately reapplying would not change that.
But like I said earlier, no one knows your chances..... you might apply again and either be lucky and get a visa or be banned.

I bet you sounded 100% Nigerian with a clearer accent to the VO than American. People who's lived here over 20 years still get asked where they're from. So no, you don't sound American and the VOs can understand you perfectly without you putting yourself in the unnecessary wahala of sounding American

XX01 things are quite different from US and Nigeria.

For instance, almost all (if not all) of thier infant formula is aged "from birth through 12months" while ours is 0-6, 6-12.
True, thier health system is strict so all formula have a certain standards that they must all meet....so buying a Similac or enfamil or parents choice(Walmart's brand) would give you exactly same nutrition contents but PC is almost half price.
Something I noticed while using US Similac isomil and naija Similac isomil, the Nigerian one says to discard before 1hr but the US one says you can use within 2hrs or store in the fridge and use within 24hrs.
I sincerely do not have any confidence in the formula sent into Nigeria....as we do not have any regulatory bodies.
As for the different stages, I'd prefer the 0-6months one cos it has slightly more percentage of the nutrients

Thanks, we're on admission now. Did another test today still the same thing(no malaria, no infection,) . Now she's vomiting and watery poop, if I give her ORS she'll vomit everything. They dewormed her and placed her on drip.
