I have learnt a lot from there.
One of the doctors narrated something, I can't seem to find the exact post so I'd just try and summarize as best as I can remember.
A child was thirsty and kept asking his mom and others in the house for water... everyone was quite busy and ignored his request. The child went ahead to search for water himself and found a bottle of water and drank the contents...but alas, the contents wasn't water but bleach! The mom in trying to Induce vomiting poured Palm oil down the boys throat....it was too much for his lungs(I think) and he couldn't breathe and ended up dying.
The doctors seriously warned against trying to Induce vomiting. The first aid for consumption of poisonous substance is 'giving milk'. Milk neutralizes poisonous substance. They said in this instance, the bleach wouldn't have killed the child, but trying to Induce vomiting did.


Lessons I learnt from that unfortunate event was:
1: Never put poisonous substances in water bottles
2: Never try to Induce vomiting when poison is inadvertently ingested.



BlackFTM, keep giving your baby milk and go see a pediatrician just to be sure he is ok.

Skineal, funbact A, Vista plus are drugs.... steroids. Not body cream.
It's like mixing paracetamol into your baby's formula Everytime you feed.....makes no sense.

You have to stop the pity party and snap out of blaming yourself. It was 100% his fault. An 18yr old girl came on to him, a housegirl for that matter o..not all Dem Instagram slay queens, and he couldn't slap some sense into her head. You were nursing his child for Pete's sake!!! It was NOT your fault!
I think you should look for a way to bring the girl over so you can do a pregnancy test and be sure she isn't pregnant. Then with that, you can both go see a marriage counselor to salvage the marriage.

I don't really agree. I think babies need their mouths cleaned daily including their tongues. I used that baby toothbrush before getting a rough washcloth. It removed the white milk residue.

Babies on breastmilk do not need thier mouth cleaned daily.
But you can choose to do whatever works for you.

After one toddlers don't need really need formula cos thier stomach's have matured enough to process cow milk.

Full fat cream milk is recommended for toddlers. And iv read peak123 is 'too sweet'.

First off, you are on the wrong thread. This is for Visiting visas to the US, kindly search for the student visa thread and ask your question.

However, I'd ask you to rethink going with your child. Have you made a plan of what to do with the baby while you are at school? Unless your husband is able to pay for your tuition, living expenses, medical expenses for your baby and daycare (depending on where you go, might cost you up to $180 a week!).

Hello Oyinola87. Take your photograph where? If you are applying via interview waiver program (dropbox) then you should be using DHL to send in your passport and DS-160. If the photograph is uploaded electronically, then that's all you need to do.

This is actually incorrect. DHL still asks you to submit 2 passport photographs alongside your application.

Yes you should wear a bra and insert nursing pads to soak up the leak.....it's normal. The sucking effect sends a signal to your brain to produce milk, there's nothing you can do about it.
However, if you are good at multitasking and have a breastpump, you can pump the milk into a bottle so it's not wasting.

If she really has a passion for flying and not the "money", then she can get a CFII rating and become and instructor. That's one of the fastest ways to build hours.
Constant flying would yield an average of 300-500hrs/yr.

PPL=Private Pilots License
Instrument Rating = flying blinfolded and with just the aid of the planes avionics and Instruments, in essense flying at night.
CPL+ flying a faster plane with a landing gear and also speed in excess of 250 Miles an Hr .
Type rating= Learning how to fly the particular plane that interestes you.

Most of all look for a sponsor, and God help you bro.

Water...... . it's one of those things that come with time. Don't sweeten the water, it might lead to tooth decay.
You might want to give her warm water with a syringe to ease the constipation.
Alternatively, you can look for 'prune' at the baby food section of ShopRite, Feddy once recommended it but i couldn't find it then.
