Politics › Re: I Am Obedient But Atiku Will Likely Win This Election by sunboy(m): 3:28pm On Feb 09, 2023 |
This is going to be a tight race between Atiku and Tinubu with Kwakwanso and Obi in the race. If any of the two step down then Atiku wins hands down… until then I’m leaning to the opinion that Tinubu has a higher chance.
Again, I don’t support any of the front runners, before some idiots come to call me anybodys fan lol |

Almaigaa: Igbo People want to force Peter Obi on us. But we go suprise them. Peter Obi won't get up to a million votes nation wide. That’s exaggerated, he will get more than 1m votes nationwide but will come distance third in vote counts and will not make 25% in 2/3rd of the federation. |

LegendHero: INEC still never get sense from the issue they faced during Osun election.
What if the presiding officer colluded with the thugs to steal the BVAS and failed to report it to the INEC office and backend? You need to know that realistically, not all scenarios can be covered. The citizens will need to support the efforts of INEC and not just leave everything in their hands while we watch our other citizens steal our mandate. |

donphilopus: I said the below earlier on another thread and I still stand by it.
There's no pathway to Atiku's victory at all. Tinubu stands the best chance to win this election. Unless maybe Kwankwaso or Obi agrees to withdraw from the race for Atiku, Tinubu would win the election.
Before you argue with me unnecessarily, you can click on this link to check my prediction in 2019.
https://www.nairaland.com/5039722/buhari-vs-atiku-how-each You nailed it. Unless one of the candidates step down and merge, Tinubu stand a higher chance of winning this election. When you say this, the internet based politician fans would call you Tinubu supporters. |

obodonigeria: The Dangote Effect.
Forget the state owned refineries, those are just money pits for politicians to steal. How may turn around maintainance have they been doing since the time of Lord Lugard yet refineries are still losing billions (so they claim, but we know whats happening to those billions mtscheww)
Only Peter Obi can fix the state owned refineries and even take things to the next level.
He said will take Nigeria from consumption to a production. Under Peter Obi Nigeria will not only be an oil hub but a hub for so many other products and services. Only possible under Peter Obi.
So vote wisely, just listen to what these two old men are even saying in the picture below and heed the advice of your elders and ancestors: All these high hopes about Peter Obi, hmmm it will shock you people ooo “if” he wins. |

They keep thinking APC started the damage 8years ago. This same mentality is what would make Obi fail that’s even if he can get 25% of National vote. They have praised him as a messiah and hope he will win and all problems will disappear overnight. Suddenly, all problems since independence and before, then 16yrs of PDP all disappeared, everything is on APC lol |

SKIBiNSKI: Good! as long as no one is forcing anyone, then what da hell? Knock yourselves out with cashless POS or whatever you call it!
And oh! Just because you would rather buy sugacane with your card or that you wouldn't wanna carry cash just for sugacane that doesn't mean i should adopt the same approach, only drug dealers carry cash? Pufffs! I still carry atleast £500 cash always in my wallet i am guessing i am a drug dealer then. And if cashless policies in naigerian is to detter drug dealers or drug deallings again, pufffss! yea right!
It worked in Kenya doesn't mean it would or must work in Naigeria. This is not the main priority. But hey! What do i know?
Ciao! Don’t push it too much, go read all my post. Encouraging it is not the same as forcing. Also, you carrying 500 cash around lol end of discussion lol Peace ✌🏾 |
Business › Re: Sugarcane Seller Using POS For His Business - Photos by sunboy(m): 7:16pm On Feb 04, 2023 |
SKIBiNSKI: You people keep clamouring for this so cashless crap, you have not stopped and thought about what benefit would it bring to the naigerian society? What are the disadvantages? That guy you quoted is one customer who the sugacane seller has lost and guess what? if many other customers feels the same way he does that sugacane seller would cease selling because people aren't interested in wasting time to buy a lousy log of sugacane by POS and what if the naigerian bad mobile network dissappoints the transactions? As they are not stable. What about the IT systems that needs 5G network? Naigeria should concentrate on providing constant uninterrupted electricity first, before this POS cashless bullshit.
You have to consider the feelings of the customers who are the most important not just the sugcane seller's using POS ideas.
Cashless transactions will never ever work in Naigeria. An average naigerian traders depends on cash and carry.
My grand mother who is 86 still sells goods at the village market, how will she use POS to sell her wares? The naigeria economy depends on these small time market traders, they are the roots of naigerian economy. How will a roadside mechanic operate a POS transaction?
It isn't just imposing forceful cashless transactions policies, but will it work? Calm down well well. Nobody is forcing anybody to adopt a cashless economy, nor is anyone forcing your grand ma. If your mind he lost a customer, in my mind… I’d rather go to him and use card instead of carrying cash around like a drug dealer. FYI, you have a lot more to gain when you majority of the economy goes cashless then majority on cash transactions. I’m not ready to get into that detail with you cos you probably won’t see it. Again you said pos network and mentioning 5g lol, POS don’t need 3g or 4g talkless of 5g. POS are gsm based, except you folks have a special one in Nigeria. The other guy was calling the seller names cos he’s losing money to pos fees lol you’re here para-ing your grandma sell stuff, again not the word “majority” that I used above. Your grandma don’t need to use pos, nobody needs to be forced to use it… Kenya is leading in the fintech in Africa cos of their early adoption. Again, nobody talked about forcing it down on the people… don’t type things out of your imagination. |

Kastonkastroll: Mumu sugarcane seller. So d one minute wey I go use buy sugarcane before I find my square root, I go come dey waste time for transfer or use of ATM card. Chai... And d mumu no even know say bank go still charge u for every transaction weda na 10naira.
U go sell sugarcane for 100box bank go charge 10box from inside... Hehehe mumu101 You don’t have to call him names, you’re the one who’s rather shortsighted here. If he’s not smart enough to know his profit and loss I’m sure he won’t get it in the first place. Also, even if the price is as high as you claim, if other small business follow this trend, many fintechs will jump into the business and crash its price in no time and that ultimately will drive Nigerias cashless economy goal. |

My people! This is a private company that’s offering a satellite based internet, ofcourse such portable kits won’t be cheap, and they are out to make profit. The kit cost the same in the US and in Europe. He reach Africa you’re asking for subsidy lol But the monthly subscription is $110 in the US, and that’s why I haven’t gotten it.
