In a statement, Bitfinex said it would work with the DOJ to try and recover the seized bitcoin. If it does, it will repay investors in its UNUS SED LEO token, which was created to try and backstop a fiscal hole created after an unrelated payment processor used by Bitfinex was seized by authorities in three different countries.

“If Bitfinex receives a recovery of the stolen bitcoin, as described in the UNUS SED LEO token white paper, Bitfinex will, within 18 months of the date it receives that recovery, use an amount equal to 80% of the recovered net funds to repurchase and burn outstanding UNUS SED LEO tokens,” the company said. “These token repurchases can be accomplished in open market transactions or by acquiring UNUS SED LEO in over-the-counter trades, including directly trading bitcoin for UNUS SED LEO.”

The LEO token began pumping against the dollar on Bitfinex around 16:41 UTC, just after the news came out, climbing from $4.97 to over $7 within an hour.

The US government now have almost $6 Billion worth of crypto in their custody. They just arrested a couple that did the 2016 bitfinex hack and have recovered the private key to their wallet worth 90,000 BTC. Hmm

The fifa award have not even been awarded up to 30 editions.It only started in 1991 and was again merged with the ballon d or for some years. Therefore not many of the great players had the chances of competing for it in their playing days.Ballon d'or is more prestigious and lewa knows much more than his utterances.

Lol,I regretted investing in cryptos 2021,the only people who have benefitted greatly from cryptos are those who bought bitcoins early.

Cryptos is suffering from acceptance from most governments around the world, crypto gurus will tell you to buy the dip,but once you buy the dip it keeps dipping more.

It's better to invest in real estate than doing cryptos, especially land investment,a land bought in 2021 with 500k will appreciate in price the next 3 years while cryptos bought with 500k can become 100k in the next 3 years.

If it does not reverse automatically after 24hrs then it has to be manually done. The implication is that they will review the purchase and see the sites involved which will be gbege. They will just add the site to their blacklist. But no fear you will get your money back.
