@ everyone, fyi, Bobby didn't introduce Whitney into drugs, rather she was already a habitual user of coke before they met. Moreover, they both checked into rehab, where Bobby kick the habit, Whitney couldn't. Like I said in my earlier post "let Bobby be", he needs a break. For those who are a generation younger, but like good music, maybe if you attend their concert you'll come to appreciate him. Peace. |
Our Problem is not petriotism, cos' we have tons of the stuff. We have mentality problem, if only we can do something urgently about it, the other things will fall in place. We need reorientation, if you like, revolution of our hearts and mindsets. |
Well said mr prez, thanks. |
godfadda6:Oh yes, he can. C'mon guys, we all miss Whitney, but we can't blame it all on Bobby, so, let him be. |
stildude:May God bless you abondantly for your observation. Every country has her own problems, so, naija's case is not unique. You'll find Nigerians in almost every country, just like the Chineese, Indians and even Americans. We should be proud that our nationals are going out and making new homes away from home and in the process helping to build naija. South Africans don't come to naija, like some claimed on this forum, you don't see a lot of them in the EU, America or elswhere either. That they don't travel that much not because they are contented in their country, but I suspect because (1) many of them simply can't afford it and (2) they have no clue about what to do outside SA. I still believe we'll overcome our problem and grow economically, then the fifth column will come calling us brothers, just as they did before. |
Not many countries have that amount in their FR. It does not completely indicate the wealth of a country. We should worry more about the amount of development taking place in naija. |
Lasinoh:Abi, they are where they belong. |
MRbrownJAY:You this kind of thinking is what is breeding corruption in naija. Yes, Nigerians are doing all sorts of things to survive out there, but to say 50% of all African prostitutes in France are Nigerians is really ridiculous. Do you know that Brits were doing street cleaning in Amsterdam and menial jobs on construction sites in germany? Are you aware that Poles and a lots of East European are taking up jobs that even African refuse to do in the West? Sit there and keep deluding yourself that you're better than the Timothys out there. |
onojiwizard@gmail.com:no mind dem, nigerians are quick to jump to conclusion. clip:Speak for yourself. unclebros:Cry for ya sef. AjanleKoko:JAM is playing politics with the Ghanaian economy. |
C'mon folks, there are many Timothys in the EU, North America and parts of Asia. Yes, it is a rough and tough living, but these are thesame people contributing to the US$10b annually remitted to Nigeria. They deserve our respect and our gratitude and not riddicle. @op, I don't think you have details of Timothy's life (in NL and here in naija) and even less so his plans. BTW, far more Timothys eventually archieve their goals. |
occam:He high on his own poo. |
Abegi, make grandpa Robert go relax, bo. We don't need to stand against the west or anyone for that matter, rather we need to work with them to archive our goals. The high level of corruption and underdevelopment in Africa is of our own doing and until that is address we're going nowhere. |
Beaf:Ah Beaf, you kill man pikin with lafo. You wicked sha. |
Even the Americans are in not so secret talk with the taliban in Afghanistan. |
At times like this, the president needs to be seen and heard, he needs to keep Nigerians reasured. He is the head of state, head of government and the commander in chief if the armed forces. I think everyone in Nigeria has a role to play in the defence and security of Nigeria. Hence, instead of criticising GEJ, let us keep our eyes open, keep track and report anyone we suspect of unusual behaviour to the security services. |
Generally, Nigerians are of good built, because of our diet. Wetin dem dey eat for Kenya? cornstarch and sour milk, most of the time. Wetin dat one go do for body? abegi, make Kenyans eat correct fudu. |
auwal87:Haba mallam, then there is no need killing ourselves. |
Beaf:Well, I've said it severally that the so call core north has only succeeded in shooting their own feet. |
For me, a cleric is just like any other ocupation, they do it for a living, it has absolutely nothing to do with God. Bakare crossed the line when he called for regime change, I wonder why he is still walking free. This man is a loose canon and a danger to our young democracy. He contested and lost the last presidential election, now he's calling for an overthrow of a popularly elected government and some of you are cheering him on, how hypocritical. |
cameronese:What a shame! |
How much does petrol sell in your state or locality now, is it uniformly N97 and available in filling stations? |
anoda senceless and time wasting thread. |
@Styike, I wish 60% of Nigerians have your kind of mentallity, our belove country will literally be tranformed overnight. I respect you, bro. |
philip0906:and what are suffering from? frustrated idiot. |
valencia25:Abeg, go with your yeye poll, I also like cheap fuel, but at what cost. Less face it, GEJ's unfolding economic policy may be, in the face of it, very unpopular, but come to think of it, do we really have any alternative? |
t.b.o.y:Forget N65, that's old news. It takes two to tangle, so, labour is gonna give ground likewise govt. My guess is we gonna end up with N100/l in the interim, with more increments to follow. |
kulutempa:Who's got who's balls? Sooner or later we'll know. ![]() Anyway, labour was very naive to have insisted on total abandonment of deregulation. They've raise the hope of Nigerians, alas, they'll have some serious explaining to do when they come back from the Rock short of that goal. ![]() |
Johnpaul2k2:I won't count on it. |
sheyguy:Your argument is born either out of ignorance or just complete disregard for the plight of the people of the ND. |
@Oluway, while at it, why not ask for free fuel? Nigerians should infact protest for free everything. |
Enough of this north bashing, yes, the north's contribution to our GDP is low, what are rest contributing? I am from the south and I know many states in the south that are just as parasitic as the north. These southern states are equally not really comfortable with any form of reform and restructuring. In the last failed national conference, only SE and SS supported resourse control. I remember the west was adamantly against the idea, someone from that region was even reported to have said that it will turn a part the country to Dubai or Singapore, while the rest remain poor and underdeveloped. Two states from the west also joined with the north and FGN to sue the oil producing state over ownership of ofshore oilfields, a case championed by the then AGF Bola Ige. They prayed the supreme court to give ownership of the offshore fields to FGN. |
Folks what your views on this, sound interestings. Maybe those govs who were claiming to be against deregulation will now have the chance the continue with the subsidy. lol ![]() |
na wao! FRSC where una dey
