All these bad belle people sef! Let me tell u, C.U is a very strict university. They actually force their students to study, there is a time table for all students activities that they follow strictly in that school. And most of the students there are fresh from secondary school. That's why they have young graduates. Their results are very real, trust me. 1st class is not something u can easily buy. |
Of praise singers and sympathizers of politicians. Those who have for one reason or the other refused bluntly to tell their heros the truth. This is one of the major reasons why Nigeria has remained stagnant. Too many praise singers around our politicians, the noise of their praise singing drowns the cries of the masses, the larger population who see no reason to dance to the drums of the prasie singers. I am tired of the excuses these praise singers give for their heros. 1. they say "he is not a magician, one year is not enough, he needs more time"- Pray tell, but during that one year of his tenure, did he not collect salary? why can't he then do something to show for the salaries and allowances ![]() ![]() ?? If one year is not enough to show something TANGIBLE that we can see, feel, and even touch with our hands, then I am sorry, one year is also not enough to collect salary and allowances. Chikena!2. They say "Nigerians are very impatient, Nigerians are hard to please"- oh really? Impatient? so waiting for years and decades (even as things worsen by the day) for politicians to fulfill their promises is impatient? oh! I see! please go and try saying that the Americans. Go and tell them to be patient with Obama on his health care and other tax-payers related policies. Tell them that Obama still has another 4 years to rule so they should be patient and wait without complaining. Tell them to vote him in again because he is a black man or becuase he gave them promises to fulfill them in in his 2nd term. Whatever they say, please take that as the reason why America is where it is today. From what I know about Nigerians, like other Africans, we really are not so difficult to please. Just give us a comfortable bed to sleep on and we are cool. In Nigeria, any president that can solve our electricity problems will win the hearts of most of us. In fact, such a president does not have to do any other thing and most of us will fall at his feet and worship him. FACT. You sypathizers should get it into your heads that Nigerians are crying out loud now because things have gotten just too much for us to bear. We are tired of being punished because of some cabals who make up just about 1% of 150million people. We are tired of hearing of billions, (not millions anymore) disappearing and nobody does nothing. We are tired of hearing of accidents cause by bad roads, We are tired of hearing of plane crashes caused by faulty planes, who the hell are those in charge these and why the hell are they not getting sacked AND prosecuted ![]() ?? We are sick and tired of seeing people die, sick and tired of hearing somebody say that Boko haram has members in his cabinet yet he does nothing to fish them out while the rest of us die one by one. We are sick and tired of cosmetic surgery, we need total healing. And the time to ask for it is NOW!As for the rest of us do not let anyone put you down for asking for your right as a citizen of a country where natural, human, and man made resources are in abundance. We are not asking for too much, just a comfortable environment for us to be able to thrive in. No matter how good a seed is, it can not germinate in an unfertile land. we are not asking for the govt to give us food, all we need is for our leaders to water the ground for us and we will find our own way. Thank you |
Billyonaire: Removing that subsidy is long overdue.Another sorry excuse from a sycophant |
texazzpete: You mean he 'pays'. He certainly has to be giving you lots of money to buy this kind of fervent buttlicking and sycophancy. And its so shameful to watch! |
Billyonaire: There is something about GEJ that I havent seen in past Presidents, he puts human face to political office, he doesnt feel super-human, he prays.......My dear, even armed robbers pray! Removing fuel subsidy on Jan 1st, in the midst of the tears and fears caused by boko haram christmas day bombing (just a week earlier) is about one of the most inhuman things I'v ever heard of in history! |
Ajiro22: Msheeeeeeeeeeew,Nigeria problem is less spiritual but more of political.GEJ knws all our looters, bring dem 2 book, collect d loots, convict dem, use d loot in creating biz enabling environment i.e security, stable electricity, gud roads and means of transportation, create employment by means of channeling govt expenditure to SMEs nd general industrial devt, den u can now pray 4 God's intervention. This great country has all it takes to grow in terms of natural endowments nd human capital but wen leaders leave d substance nd pursue shadows these are the consequences. I really love GEJ i want him 2 succeed nd i knw he can succeed only if he avoid his detractors, sycophants around him. Crying at every crash sites kneeling down for prayers 24/7 will not help. Now this is someone who really loves GEJ and wants him to succeed by TELLING HIM THE TRUTH in a constructive way. Not like those annoying, pathetic, praise singers whom I seriously doubt have any iota of brains in their skulls. God bless you for this sir! Most of us wish GEJ could perform, it's just that people are so frustrated and afraid for our children's future and that is why they insult him. But it is our dream to see him do well |
It was sentiments like this that made people like me vote for Jonathan. But now my eye don clear. I tell, I have never seen any one who knows how to whip up sentiments more than GEJ. Kai! |
Your wedding day is not just any day or any ocassion, Its a day filled with memories you would want to keep forever (except of course you are not getting married for the right reasons) so you cannot use the excuse of "afterall I will be wearing it for only a few hours!" How in God's holy name would I wear ANYTHING a bunch of strangers have already for my once-in-a-life-time momoment with the man of my dreams ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ? It does not have to be an expensive dress. Just something decent and pretty enough for you to feel special in.The only excuse for that is if finances are just toooooooooooooo tight and none of us prays for that or do you? |
edicolove: My guy, whoever you are, you be real id1ot. You wan use laugh give me miscarriage! ROTFL!Ahn ahn are u male or female? |
~Bluetooth:Sadly, I was a big fan of Uncle Jonah. I was so impressed with his seeming 'meekness' and mistook it for humilty. I was so sure he was our messiah! Not every GEJ critic is a Buhari supporter (I am not) In fact most of us are his ex-fans |
GEJ's apologists should stop all these what-would-you-do-if-you-were-in-his-shoes tactics abeg! Not everybody can know what to do cos not everybody can be president. not everybody is equipped with the necessary attributes of a leader and THAT is why leadership is NOT for everybody but for just a few people who have what it takes. Our own job as the electorate is to search for make sure that we only install only the people who have what it takes and make sure we make them accountable to us. Shikena! |
edicolove: My dear brother, I live in Lagos, not in Thailand or Malaysia or Belgium. I see people everyday in Nigeria go from zero to millionaires. The woman selling food at my street junction is building a house somewhere in the outskirts of Lagos. I have never bought that crap report that says Nigerians live on 2 dollar per day. It was cooked up by NGO's who want to use it to scam wetsern nations for donations. I have worked with Nigerian NGOs and I know what they do. I repeat again, Nigeria is a gold mine. The vulcanizer on my street has a half plot with his own house somwhere around akute in Ogun state. He makes at least 3000 every day. A keke napep guy makes on an average, 5000 naira per day. Much more than a regular bank staff. The people who really suffer in Nigeria are young graduates who are too proud to harness opportunities around them and the very very poor who cannot afford money to start a small business. But even small cooperatives exist everywhere that came provide small loans. Jesus said in the bible that "the poor you will always have with you". That is why there are poor people all over America and Europe and don't even mention China and indian.#Thinking aloud "Why do people on this forum call me 'brother' all the time? Is it becuase they hardly see women having intelligent conversations outside brazilian hair, BB, and mary Kay?" Back to the topic, you are right and you are also wrong. perhaps because you are just trying to be optimistic and there is nothing wrong with that. However, it should not make you close your eyes totally to reality. Closing your eyes to your problems does not make the problems cease from existence, it only delays the trouble |
nagoma: I believe the guy cannot even read the writing on his brand new T- Shirt obviously given to him for this picture. Expect more of such gimmicks . The purpose is to drag in every Muslim into this and lump them together with BH while ignoring a clueless government's unremarkable effort and possible complicity.I suspect so too |
Maybe the guy cany read! But then again, he doesn't look like a stark illiterate |
edicolove: I have just realised that the problem with NL is that many of the posters here are living in diaspora. They keep saying investors will not come to Nigeria because of security issues and power and that if they come, they will see the situation and relocate somewhere else. This is what I call "ignorance on rampage".Ok, fine! what an intelligent post! But let me ask you this question, who EXACTLY are the people benefiting from all these investment? Ordinary Nigerians like You and me? how has all these investments increased our employment rate? How has it reduced the poverty rate over the years? Can't you see? Nigeria's wealth is ONLY for a selected few. Just a few selected people! The rest of us are being taken advantage of and being made to pay for what they enjoy. Thanks to our corrupt leaders. |
Beaf: Cool move GEJ! |
conyema12: drive home ur point by giving us a run down of what the Brazilian president spends on food... Meanwhile am not in support of whatever you are claiming that our HOS consumes..neither do I eat cassava bread....How long will these businessmen stay in Nigeria before Boko haram, MEND, and high cost of generator maintenance and diesel/fuel supply chases them away? How long? Dont you know you have to first of all do first things first? This is a case of putting the cart before the horse and we all know the implications of that. We won't go very far with it and that is just the gospel truth! BTW, we have not even seen the Brazilians yet so why all the excitement? Let them come first nau! |
black knight: I just laff. It is clear that nothing dis man does will b good enuf for some ppl. All dis while dat Jonah has bin in aso rock, abeg wat has been the effect on bH? Is it that ppl are expecting one almighty policy dis week that he travelled that he cldnt ave given b4. A country must b dynamic nd not static.....must everything else b put on hold until dis boko guys r dead...where is d progress in dat....by d way there boss has bin apprehended, and GEJ didn't need 2 b in Nigeria 4 dat 2 happen. Am just happy d slow poke is actually doing 'something'You dont get it do you, you acnnot be bringing in investors into a country that has no security or electricity. It just will not go far. You have to do first things first |
Hmm! How long will these businessmen stay in Nigeria before Boko haram, MEND, and high cost of generator maintenance and diesel/fuel supply chases them away? How long? Dont you know you have to first of all do first things first? This is a case of putting the cart before the horse and we all know the implications of that. We won't go very far with it and that is just the gospel truth! BTW, we have not even seen the Brazilians yet so why all the excitement? Let them come first nau! |
I just don't understand this year's game. There have been too many disqualifications and voluntary exists for comfort. I smell something fishy |
For those of you complaining about the "muslim" part of the poster's story, there is a part one of this story. You will understand it better there. |
shymex: Sweetlemon finally found a bf, I'm happy for you oyinbo pepper..Na you give me boyfriend? see ya head! |
queensmith: what kind of nonsense an 80year old man? for what? the resources he's using to get a wife, he needs to use to get a maid. Its ridiculous, its disgusting. Just because shes a woman, doesnt now make her worthless, so because she's 50 she now has to go for a man thats 30 years her senior? You people are ridiculous! ridiculous!I have never seen a more terrible case of I-too-knowism in all my life! Kai! ahn! ahn! |
pcicero: Oh yeah she does. And how about 'mynding' your own business? ![]() |
queensmith: I expect a man (who is trying to justify his perversions) to say this, but I will never expect it from a woman, so the 30 year old women in your country have the sexual libido's of 50 year old men? I knew Nigerians were abnormal but this is something! Well done to you guys, now chasing little girls everywhere finally has a logical reason!A 30 yr old woman is a little girl?? Excuse me, but are you married? |
queensmith: the key word here is content, you will not actually be happy. Nobody can be happy for such because it's damn disgusting, your daughters husband will be the same age as you- seriously what is good about that?Excuse me, but what is so youthful about a 30 year old woman?? Have you ever heard that women have body clocks (sexually and reproductively) ? Do you know that a normal 50 year old man has more chances of bearing children than a 30 yr old woman? stay there dey do I-too-know Secondly, if she is content, wetin come concern you there? |
queensmith: Do you pray for your 30 year old daughter to marry a 50 year old man?If God forbid, my daughter has to wait till that age to marry, I will be fully convinced that she's a full grown woman who knows exactly what she wants and who is wise enough to make her own decisions. As long as I see her happy in her marriage, I will be content cos that is all that matters. HAPPINESS! Madam I-too-know! |
dayokanu: Agbani is not a teenager, she is a 30year old woman. A 30yr old woman can mess with anyone.please help me tell her o! If Nelson Mandela is a pervert despite all what he has achieved in life, I wonder what we should call her |
pcicero: @Sweetlemoncant release any contact detail here |
BoboYekini: @poster, methinks the guy is the lucky one to have stylishly rid himself of you. No think am, make no mistake, its played out exactly as he wanted, no be awon boys?[b] Did you say "PAY for your toy boy's services?" @op, You see what I mean? |
moroh: pele..let it outbecause whether you like it or not, money is more important than religion in marriage. |
You see! @op, thank God you took my advice to shine your eyes wella before getting married to him. Nigerian guys of today are fast turning into gold diggers. They want to marry high earning women all in the name of marrying an "independent woman" so that they can shy away from their God-given duties of being the main providers of the family! So many women have fallen into this trap thinking "oh! he admires my abilities, he is proud of my achievements" only to wake up to reality the night after the honeymoon! because the truth is that we women love to be taken care of even if we have our own money. FACT! Men! p.s,There are still some good self-respecting ones out there who still firmly believe in taking the lead roles in caring of their wives and kids finances even though their wives earn higher. Goodluck to all of us! |
