queensmith: him being 20 years older than her is enough, arent there any 50 year old widows for him to marry? the pervert is old enough to be her father for chris sake! And who died and made you judge over what, how, where, and who two grown a.s.s, opposite-sex people should marry?? who Whoever appointed you jury over who, when, how a fully grown person falls in love please expain. |
From this thread, I can really see the kind of people parading Nairaland and it's such a pity! People have so much envy in their hearts...... it's no wonder why the world is such a wicked place! FYI, Alaibe is a widower. I'v been trying hard to see what's so ugly about him! BTW, have you seen a picture of Agbani lately? I can assure you that the scenerio here is not exactly that of beauty and the beast. Trust me |
sexkillz: [color=#000030]Lmao @ ring in fufu. . .Aww! |
bendazum: It is either he is being manipulated, blackmailed or afraid of the North reaction if he does the right thing. All these bombings point to North Muslims and they cannot deny it.They aid and abeit these terrorists!Have you not heard anywhere that when the heat in the kitchen becomes too much for you, you leave? His remaining there and even thinking about a second term when he knows he can not do much to stop the problems shows pure undiluted greed and selfishness. That's the bitter truth! |
Decapo: heard same too, they even said the VC took to his heels, this is quite unbelievable and the school authority just said everybody are now on there ownThat is terrible! Why? I feel so sorry for them cos most of them are govt children. These militants or Whoever the attackers are, would take their frustrations on the govt out on them. As at now, I hear 2 people have died already. (I'm an ex student) How sad! |
I can't remember the last Sunday that was tragedy-free! God what is happening and when did things become so bad? |
You people saying she's not a 9ja babe seem to have forgotten how Karen actually begged Zeus to f... Her. She threw herself so shamelessly at him that I wondered if she has ever had a boyfriend in her life. Point is that SOME 9ja babes are cheap. Period. |
I can see people here avoided the question I asked earlier. And I ask again. For those of us who call God our father, Can you marry someone who does not recognize, respect, or value someone you call your father?? Can you marry someone who disrespects your father so much that he spells his name with small letter "g", calls him a hoax or a nonentity. Will you marry someone who puts your father down in public? Would you? |
slimyem: you can believe in God but still be rational/objective in respecting other people's views about religion. You don't get it do you? I ask again, how can you marry someone who does not recognize someone you call your father? Your answer is as good as mine. It all depends how much you love or value your the person you call your father. Shikena! |
Idowuogbo: So in other words, God said we should condemn d idea abi? Na wa o! See believer preaching it her own way. What idea? Excuse me, but we are talking about someone who doesn't even believe in God's existence, remember? How can you marry someone who does not recognize someone you call your father, much more your heavenly father Hello! |
Anybody who believes in and loves God will not even think of marrying someone who doesn't believe in God. Except of course if there are other benefits such aa money, connections, etc. Even with that, it is only CORE MATERIALISTIC people who would do so because marrying someone who does not believe in your heavenly father is like (even more serious than) marrying someone who has no regard for your earthly father. That's the bitter truth |

Crown Prince: You are indeed a realbitch. Did you notice anywhere in my post where i encouraged her to remain a christian, convert her husband or households christians for you to brand an extremist? You lost it.Kai! I have never seen anyone preaching Jesus and at the same time calling someone a bi.tch. I'm sure Jesus would be cringing in heaven by now. Na real wa for some of us christians o! |
@OP, congratulations! Don't allow anybody here spoil your happiness abeg. But come o! From your write-up, it seems like you are doing quite well financially. I hope this guy is also on the same level with you. If not, pls shine your eye well before you enter. There are so many gold-digging men on the prowl these days. It's a fact my dear. Just be careful. Congrtas once again. E no easy o! |
philip ;D0906:Kai! This is Badt! |
Ladies its high time we realized that if we say a man cannot hit us, then we must therefore not give him any reason to hit us. It's a two-way thing. Anyway having said that, any man that hits me is ON HIS OWN! |
Excuse me, but I don't think ladies of nowadays are still looking for rich husbands. The point is that there are no husbands in the first place not to talk of rich ones! So when or if a lady sees a decent guy that is ready to marry her, she grabs him! Women have stopped doing shakara o! The only ones that are still looking for rich husbands are below 25 yrs. After that, anything decent goes. In fact there are some who just want a ring without caring about the kind of man that gives the ring. That is why you see them unhappy after marriage. Besides, the last time I checked, it is the men who are now after working class ladies with high salaries for marriage. Hardly can you find a guy marrying a lady that does not have a fairly good source of cash. In fact, you will even see a jobless man looking for a working class lady so leave that thing abeg! |

when I was serving, we heard promises of 250K and foolishly enough, some people believed. Some were even planning crazy weekends in Abuja and others were building castles and empires in the air. But on our passing out day, instead of giving us money, they forced us to pay 2,500 for something (can't remember) So pls op, just forget about it. But seriously why do they keep raising hopes of poor corpers like this na? It's not fair! |
kj_hova: A committee to set up a committee to look into d modalities of appointing members into a committee to set up a committee to review all the committees that have been set up to review the committees that were set up to review the committees that were originally set up to investigate what again?! Zilt! Even "El Presidente" can't remember the problem we intended to solve!!Yepa! I don laff enter gutter! |
Funny enough, even though chanchanchi seems like the most dangerous airline, they are yet to record any crashes or even emergencies, or have they? Na so life be. |
Iv decided to wait till 2014 before I give my final answer. But as of now, the thought of bearing another 3 years of GEJ does not excite me one bit! |
Aww! Richie boi! I don't know what to say! You really are a strong person to be able to put up her picture here. So sorry! God knows best. May your sister RIP |
Austine.E:Biko, is Henry Okah a Northerner? As for me, I don't trust anybody as far as Nigerian politics is concerned. |
@OP, unless if you noticed something undeniably fishy about the guy, turning him down just because you wanna boast that you turned down a benz-driving guy is one of the silliest decisions you could ever make (except of of course you are one of those ladies who are not interested in settling down) trust me, I'm older than you so I know! |
Hon. SuQ Ma'DIQ:What kind of comment is this naw? So budgeting N1B for food every year is "turning the right cheek" in your own biblical dictionary ba? |
jmoore: What if it becomes a public disgrace for the man when the woman rejects the proposal?Well, I guess that is why you need to be sure that she will say yes! If you are not sure, make it private. I'm just saying that where there is mad love btw the guy and the girl, a public proposal will sweep them both off their feet |
Another new tactic from GEJ sycophants! Let me tell you something you guys have refused to get into your skulls. Majority of people complain about GEJ cos of his anti-masses policy. At this stage in Nigeria nobody wants to know if you have "good intentions" all they want to see is CHANGE! They want to see the results, they want electricity, jobs, security, and better living conditions! GEJ should stop chasing after rats while our house is on fire. Let him stop all these petty petty things like University name change and concentrate on how to improve electricity. Even if power supply is the only thing he can do, even if he wants to introduce coconut bread or change Uniport to Patience Ebele Jonathan University, people will still love him! Trust me, it doesn't take much to satisfy an average Nigerian, the reason why people have intensified their criticisms is because we have endured enough pain and we can no longer wait till we are 6 feet under till we learn to say "enough is enough!" |

Nothing is more romantic than having a guy tell the whole wide world that he wants to spend the rest of his life with you and you alone! If I get that kind of proposal from a guy I'm madly in love with, my children and grand children will get tired of hearing my story over and over again! If done properly and well organized, its like being swept off your feet and taken into a fairy tale land! It will blow my mind! However, public or private, the koko be say he don propose and if you really love him, you won't really care how he does it. But we all have dreams of how we will want it to be |
pato405: is car an achievement? everyone knows cars are one of the cheapest tins abroadAnd is this the only thing you could gather from my post?? Cars might be one of the cheapest things there. But you won't be able to afford one if you are lazy or not well organized! And that is the point I'm trying to make |
I can see people are just consoling themselves here. Let me tell you something. If you go to a country like America or Canada armed with a clear vision of EXACTLY what you are going there to do, determination and focus, the sky will just be the starting point for you. You also need to do away with a lot of backward and unproductive Nigerian mentality some people have. Carriage and charisma are also important. This may sound funny but razzness will drag you behind o! My kid brother who went there last year has now bought a car for himself (something he wouldn't have dreamed of doing here in Nigeria) and sponsoring his own education. |
