Am affected people I know have died dont give me that emotional lesson. I've seen these terrorists' capabilities...a hint is the call out of Cameroon leaders calling on the rest of the world to help the sub-region. We're talking about international terrorists that uses guerilla tactics. CaptainAmerica1: Look at things for what they are, be realistic. You think the Nigerian Army doesn't have the capacity to eliminate boko haram? You must be joking.
GEJ doesn't have what it takes to handle the terrorists, He leaves it for the top army staffs, They are corrupt and benefit from the boko haram menace that's why they haven't been defeated them. Why do you think security has the highest allocation but you don't see the effect at primary level, where has all the money gone to?
The truth is glaring but you choose not to see it.
You won't have this same mindset if you were affected. #fact! |

MadamDearest: For all those disbelieving, this matter is all over the news not just blogs or nairaland. I am hardly surprised when ppl like jona can mount a holy pulpit. I also think its a good idea when righteous men contest election such as pastor osinbanjo but I honestly don't understand how he is able to maintain his godliness being in the association of ppl like tinubu etc God is patient and truly merciful I'll only believe this if I watch the video...even if he said so there must be a reason and we should reflect as well as investigate if its true we're on the verge of islamatization. This is a serious case that should not be tampa with. It could be true even the crash in crude oil price can be traced back to Saudi Arabia cos they chose not to reduce their crude oil output. Dont forget BH even recommended Buhari to mediate for them in this same Saudi Arabia and Buhari said he'll stabilize crude oil price, maybe he'll only need to talk to his arab friends. Sabotage everywhere like we cant generate enough power cos some guys be blowing gas pipelines up and we end up blaming GEJ. |

CaptainAmerica1: Yes, God wants us to obey and respect people in power. But in reality, respect is earned. I don't like the way he is insulted but I believe his advisers are the cause of his downfall, honestly. There are much better advisers out the that common Reno Omokiri, Reuben Abati and Doyin Okupe, those guys never fail to amuse me.
However, for my choice of voting, I look at it from a very passionate angle, the issue of insecurity. Lemme explain; this issue of boko haram is my utmost problem. I live in the north and it pains me deep down when I hear how people are killed. See the thing is that most people in the south don't care since it's not affecting them, if they knew how it feels they won't for a second give their votes to GEJ.
People are forgetting that this terrorism if not contained on time, it will spread no doubt. I believe you heard the news earlier today that they attacked Maiduguri town. If they successfully capture that town (God forbid), their strength will increase geometrically. They would have control of an air strip where they can receive better support from other terrorist organizations. They won't be hiding in the bush any more, and they will spread further. This is my fear. GEJ has proven incapable in this aspect, it's no news. The international community believes so.
Gen. Buhari has lead more than one army division, he's capable in dealing with terrorists. Look at some of his past achievements in that aspect and speak for yourself. I am a very passionate person and I value the lives of people so much.
Sorry for the long story, Enjoy your weekend as well. I look forward to what you have to say. You must be underestimating Boko Haram like Buhari-APC by saying a change of government is all we need.We need drones and support. I'll vote GEJ he's put Soldiers there to fight em off. |

Is it GEJ that brought boko haram problem? I agreed we're talking international terrorists whom even alqeada refered to as wicked. Now thats more of the reason why the president ought to take it,in action, words and indeed. We believe the Military is not well motivated. He's not invested more in this regards. Hmmmm I used to support President Goodluck but am sorry to say he that all amounted to misplacment of priorities and that its no use we travelling in a train or airplane with the of fear Boko Haram in our heart. oduastates: Confirmed odes full here wella.
Those are not locomotives Those are electric trains. You see those wires above the trains? they not only supply the power (fuel), they also send the signal of the location of the trains. Diesel engines are only used mostly to move cargoes and rarely, humans to remote regions in those countries. You are also likely to have a few steam engines plying tourist routes like the Swiss alps. Yes not all are locomotive trains in the posts. But he's right for saying our diesel powered train are being used as passenger trains. Even in New York. The only thing is the gauge differences which determine the speed. Now we should give credit to the Nigerian government cos this will go along way. I've seen trains carrying petroleum products to the North. Those APC-Buhari opposition are just being impossible.Thank God fresh trains are being used with the right organization and the fact that its cheap in case I want to safe costs,I have the option of sleeping in my first class cabin till the next day. Future administrations can upgrade these facilities. The thing is Goodluck's method is better than theirs. They complain he's draining Nigeria's money but I see what he's done. Am not saying with the right price, well maybe he's eating our money with the projects but things are on ground compared to past administrations that has left them abandoned leaving the cash is some bank and claiming they have done the country good while the money depreciate in values. The present administration has said it long before that the cash will be spent on what will improve the life of the people. I see roads, bridges, refineries, companys,Agriculture, power plants and minning going on,how best do you develop a nation than that? APC'S are just mis-interpreting the government will back fire as more and more objective people are confirming these things. If you like let them use your emotion to ruin the future of this nation. Even Buhari that prefar to safe money than invest it. SMH. Goodluck meant well with this project we should stop being pessimistic. Forget those that are talking because talk is cheap. We should start growing economy instead of the stipends we generate from oil. Nigeria have the population and capacity to do wonder even without oil revenue. Yes we should spend those billion dollars as we our airports are having cargo terminal for importation of machines and tools to do those cool projects. Look at our sea ports even ship will be coming into the country via portharcourt port. Common Nigerians! Wake up. |
