No one is disputing use of technology (whatever that means) but when you gather your evidence, take them to court, if they're found guilty then jail them. This is the practice the world over.

Now just for sanity sake, I could agree with you that they should be given a chance to return their loot voluntarily so to avoid jail them, almost like settling out of court but just forgiving them like that shouldn't even be an option

Yes corruption is bad but what if government can do things such that no one can sit on funds in the first place?
