Did you IJIOTS read d Response of d NNPC or am I missing smtin here?? |
You see dem?? Dem don start to dey tribalise d thread again...*smh* |
berem: I hate it when fools like the 2 above quote me without substantial points. Ignoring nitwits is now my hobby. Watch it sons!NO, madam, you are getting it all twisted. 'We' already made our Points on d 1st page (with a Vid to boot sef). We expect you Clowns to respond with CounterPoints. Point-to-Point. fyneguy: why refer us to PT? |
fyneguy: why refer us to PT?Why refer you to PT? Cos d @OP provided sources in order to push his point across: SaharaReporters and PremiumTimes. And PT's particular contributed to d mata was d 'Analysis' I just ReAnanlysed above (though still incomplete). And it gives an Indicatn of why and how Desperate sm set of Power Mongers truly are if they can go to such lengths in order to make a point (reali, to push an AGENDA). Moreova, I already responded to d 'letter' in my 1st 2 comments, which are actuali lots of QUESTIONS rather than a proper response. The whole tin doesn't make ANY sense to me, as do every other person who hv commented here (whether they want to admit it or not). But maybe it makes Sense to you; in which case, we ALL wud be most grateful if you explained it to us. You may want to refer to my 1st 2 comments here for sm of d questions I asked...... Oh! Lest I forgot: yr inferring of d possibility of d funding of d budgets of d 816 Govts in Nigeria when $50bn of Oil money is 'missing' just cos according to you 'the budget is funded by oil and nonoil sums' smarks of reali ridiculous streak of IGNORANCE, of many tins not least is d actual % of Oil-to-nonOil ratio budgets are usuali been funded in Nigeria. You may want to steer clear of such pitiable Slips as you begin to Explain to us how d whole tin made sense to you. Goodluck.. |
fkaz: Even in south-east labaran Maku and insincere 9geria will tell you that, FG have commission onitsha port, work is going on 2nd niger bridge, orient oil refinery has been commission and working, anambra is now a oil producing state, they are deceiving their people. Why are u confusing yrself by yr own self? Why write thrash, esp when it is OP ('out of point') ![]() |
JulianBond007: you are a product of a failed educational system under Jonathan's administration. Look at the way you write simple English? You are a disappointment to your people. Sorry for you!Hv u watchd d Vid?? Yes Or No... |
This silly man should limit his gratitude to Johnathan to himself alone for giving him (Labaran Maku) the job of minister, so he can continue displaying his ignorance, like foolishly trying to credit the same Johnathan for bringing Facebook to Nigerians - can you imagine. What insult to northerners and a discredit to Gowon, in view that the latter was a true leader to all Nigerians never favoured any region over and above another (it was therefore unfair of him to imply so); unlike his kleptomanic master who openly makes divisive statements while presiding over the on going maiming and demise of thousands of northerners by his PDP brand of Boko Haram, as he siphons trillions for himself and his goons in the name of security budget; as well as watching over the grounding down of most northern industries (particularly in Kano) through the disproportionate negative allocation of power to the region with attendant consequences. Labaran should STFU and realize that only dullards like himself and the gullible will buy into his thinly veiled sycophantic lies.
Actuali, he enumerated (with Pics and Videos) sm of d things d GEJ Admin has done/is doing as regards Power in d North, esp within d Kaduna-Kano axis. Viz: the groundbreaking and start of construction of d 700MW Zungeru HydroPower Plant, a plan which has been 'in d drawing block' since b4 Independence and WHICH EVERY PREVIOUS GOVTS, PARTICULARLY THOSE FROM THE NORTH, HAVE ALL FAILED TO DO; the similar 3000MW Mambilla HydroPower Plant that is on d verge of groundbreaking, and which other previous 'Northern Govts' have also FAILED to do since b4 Independence; the almost completed 215MW Oil-based Power Plant in Kaduna, whose Civil works are almost done and ALL Turbines already on d spot (Pics and Vid of this plant was shown doing d programme just as a tour of d facility was undataken by d Journalists on d team)- this has always been d Plan of previous Govts in order to have dedicated Power to d Kaduna-Kano Industrial zone but hv ALL FAILED to even reali start until now (I think d VP, who is from Kaduna, is personali pushing this project on); the already recently completed (virtuali) 35MW HydroPower Plant from d huge Gurara Multipurpose dam project (a huge project itself which is almost done and was toured, and which will supply Water, Irrigation facilities, Power, Tourism to parts of Abuja and Kaduna)- d Transmission lines to evacuate Power to d Mado Transmission station is been constructed currently; d Extremely important IkotEpene-Enugu-Markudi-Jos (all d way to Mado) Transmission Double lobed Line.... He did not even mention others like all d other Distribution and Transmission Lines/Stations been/already built tru out d North by NIPP like d Ajaokuta-Abuja Line; the new Wind Power Plant been built in Kastina; Or d fact that d FG is trying to insert mini-hypoPower Plants to d new dams she is building in d north, etc etc etc..... Now, these are d #FACTS. You may not like it for reasons best known to you, but you Cannot 'bend' it- at least not successfully. EVENTUALI, it wud catch up with you and smark you violently in d face if you continued to denial it. The Slap is what is called REALITY... |

Even so, when compared with prevailing data from different government agencies, the figure admitted by the CBN is still lesser than what Nigeria should earn from oil sales. For those persons 'eating' this thrash, this is what the EDITORS of PT allowed through their 'Paper': Their 'Analysis' was based on the Assumption of an Average Oil Sales of 2.11millionbpd and Average Price of $105 per barrel. According to them, using these figures for a 10 months period, Jan-Oct 2013, Nigeria 'Earned' (their very words) #10.6trillion from crude oil sales, while NNPC only remitted #5.8billion to the Federation Account within the period (so the difference of #4.8trillion has been 'STOLEN' or 'DIVERTED'); just as $17.3billion (#2.695trillion) was 'earned' as Excess Crude Oil, although the Govt remitted #986.6billion (so the difference #1.708trillion has also been 'stolen' or 'diverted')!! Here was the Mathematics used: --- 2.11millionbpd * $105 per barrel * 30days * 10months * #158= #10.5trillion Oil SOLD (equivalent in their own mind to money 'earned' by Nigeria). --- 2.11mbpd * $26 Excess per barrel(ie $105- $97) * 30days * 10months= $16.5billion (approximately $17.3billion they used since am using 30days per month). So PT wud have us believe that Crude Oil, at least the Nigerian Oil, just magically produces and sells itself just like that, kwa (maybe that's why it is called 'Sweet Oil')? PT wud have us believe that All the Oil Companies in Nigeria (Shell, Chevron, Total, Oando, Sahra Energy, ExxonMobil, Halliburton, NNPC itself, etc) are a bunch of Father Xmases who love Nigeria so much that they not only produce/sell our crude for us for FREE without adding the COST of production nor do they Share from the Oil sales. Such Wonderful set of Companies in deed!! May they be blessed, Always !!OK, enough of Clowning around; lets get back to Reality now: When a Country produces and sells Oil to the International market, the money that buyers pay (like the #10.6trillion above) is just the SELLING PRICE. There is a COST associated with producing and selling every barrel of Oil sold (Cost of Exploration, Licensing, Exploitation, Producing, Storage, Transportation, Running cost, Labour, buying of sophisticated Equipment/Platforms, Insurance, Security, etc, etc, etc). This COST is subtracted from the SELLING PRICE; the Resulting Difference been the SHAREABLE PROFIT. It is only this PROFIT that is SHARED bw the Govt and the Oil Companies in the ratio 70/60: 30/40 (depending on the JV partnership). Govts share then goes to the Federation Account. This is the SUM that the producing country truly EARNS. Now, the very 1st question that immediately comes to mind is how the helll is PT Editors unaware of this ELEMENTARY stuff such that they went ahead to make weighty allegations based on a premise that is sooooo Wrong, and easily so too?? But the Truth is that they KNEW. This was no mistakes nor was it an oversight. They knew EXACTLY what they were/are doing. These are not a group of OLODOS (like some Clowns here, some of whom have already commented foooolishly already); these are Smart Guys, albeit with severely flawed Characters. So also knew they were going to be caught easily at least by a few critically-minded persons, SO WHY DID THEY STILL DO IT. Well, for same reasons an 'OLODO' Senator (he also knew exactly what he was doing too) from the North and an APC member (or Prospective member) recently publicly said that #500billion Subsidy money was 'missing', even after he admitted that #300billion was received by the FG out of the total possible Sum of #800billion, and had papers showing that the FG only receives 41% of the SURE-P funds whilst States, LGAs and Ecological fund receives the remaining 59% (and 59% of #800 is approximately #500billion, the same amount he declared 'missing'). He also knew by the way that States and LGAs, including his own, have ALL religiously received their share of the money every month at FAAC meeting, YET he went ahead to make the allegations and it initially made headlines!!! Same reasons Ameachi said that $5billion was 'missing' from the Federation Account when the same Amaechi had been leading the charge by Govs to share out the monies in the Excess Fund. When Okonjo-Iweala finally confronted him the #54billion he Amaechi had collected as the Exact share of Rivers State's part of the 'missing' $5billion Excess Fund, he waited like 4 days b4 responding and saying 'yes we received the #54billion share' (in other words, there was No 'missing' $5billlion) but said that they did not know that the #5554billion they received came from the Excess Fund (Imagine that!!!!). Amaechi knew the truth from the start and also knew he will caught red-handed, But still he did it and made Headlines!! Why would these people go to such an extent to stream HUGE Headlines, when they knew that they would be caught relative EASILY since premises are so 'obviously' lousy? Why do they want to make the Screaming Headllines? Why?? Did I hear words like DESPERATION, POWER MONGERING, HYPOCRISY, etc etc etc..... Maybe, you may not be so far off then. |
Am so incredibly ANGRY and MADT at Reno and all those who handle d President's Image in d public. It was you people who initiali gave d IJIOTS/HATERS all d space to operate and peddle their LIES and PROPAGANDA almost unimpeded, without so much as either a structured Counter Or an Alternative message. Now for sm time, you guys are woken up and trying to play catch-up. I can't believe it is taking me hours I don't ordinary have to get Pics and Videos of things I already know Govt has done/doing, Or even those happening in d country. You guys are honestly just a @topic, Great article though. So on point, as usual. Wud hv commented but not on that state of mind now. Maybe Laters tins sha... |
JECBOSS: Labaran Maku is An Accomplished Serial Liar and Defender of Corruption and Mediocrity. Nobody takes him serious anymore.SHUT ya mouth tha, my frnd. I watched this Programme on NTA until PHCN interrupted our light in Benin. The Minister held d mostly Northern Audience spell-bound as he was making his point with Projects aplenty executed/been executed in d North by d GEJ Admin; and he did so convincingly. I wish the Video was recorded and available... |
Orlando Owoh: Taharqa, you don't know anything about liberation movements in Africa if you do, you won't say Namibia whose President delivered a speech on behalf Africa, contributed more. The South-West People's Liberation Movement (SWAPO) who leader, Sam Nuyoma led his country (then known as South West Africa) to independence got support from Nigeria.Just SHUT yr mouth tha, you hopeless IGNORAMUS. B4 you even got into d University (or College of Education), I hv been studying Southern African International politics... Namibia was d only other State in d world that was under d SA Apartheid system. SA occupied/colonished d country from d 2nd World War to d late 1980's. The people of that country, led by SWAPO, were practicali in a 'war' situation with d SA's Apartheid Apparachik just like ACN and PAC. No other country felt the brunt nor confronted Apartheid so closely than Namibia. Not even Angola, Mozambique and Zimbabwe- where guerilla Warfare had to be fought against d SA-allied Minority Governments. Yes, Nigeria did much for SA at those times, esp as a noncongegious 'Frontline' State, but don't over push it; esp against d people in d Southern African Region who directly bore d brumt of d Unforgiving Apartheid system..... Anyways, I honestly don't even know why d helll all these are important. Namibia, SA's Neighbour, gave a speech at a Memorial Service on behalf of Africa, and that is suppossed to be a slight on Nigeria?? Smtimes am Ashamed to share same nation with sm of u KIDS |
kokoA: you are the one acting childish here bro. If only one Africa country were to be selected to pay tribute to Mandela, that country should be our country, Nigeria. I remember all the "free mandela" campaign all over the place while growing up. I never knew anything about politics then but I knew the name Mandela because of the way our people then talked about his freedom, I remember a popular song by a Nigerian artist titled "free mandela" which we all loved to sing during our play time. We should be asking ourselves what went wrong. Mandela stood for black people and if we as the most populous black nation in the world were reduced to mere spectators at his funeral then there's something "unmandela-like" we must have done to warrant this embarrassment.OLODO. Where do you DUNCES even come from? Which Skol una good? Who teach una history? So Nigeria contributed to the dismantling of Apartheid (or, was directly affected by it) more than Zimbabwe (former Rhodesia), Zambia, Namibia (a country that even SA colonished till around 1990), Angola, Lesotho, Mozambique?? What NONSENSE I am reading on this thread? |
king94: I don't seem to undastand wot d op is saying. Nambia is d only country 4rm Africa dat is giving a tribute 2dai(they gained their independence 4rm South Africa). Barack Obama woz d only western leader dat gave a speech 2dai. I don't see d british press complaining about d 'snub' so I don't know wot d fuss is all about. It is a memorial service nd dat is wot we should focus on rather than wasting time on egotistical shenanigans. Thanks for those words. Eerily appropiate for these Clowns.. |
agabaI23: Point of CorrectionEven Nigeria was NOT snubbed anytin. One President per Continent was choosen by d Organisers to speak on d occasion on behalf of their Continent I suppose. The Namibian President spoke on behalf of Africa, Period. And even if we wanted to use 'who contributed most to d AntiApartheid movement', did Nigeria contribute more than Namibia or any other Southern African country for that mata?... For God's sake, why shld this even be an issue? And why am I even on such a sillly thread?? |
ceo4eva: I now strongly believe that Jonathan's Administration Cultivates, Breeds, Nurtures, Fertilizes, Harvests, Packages, and Distributes Corruption. You reali are a DUNCE. Infact, worse than a Dunce; more like an Okpee. So cos Nigeria was not askd to give a Speech at Mandela's Birthday, it there4 means that GEJ Admin 'cultivates, breeds, grows, etc corruption'?? Lawd have Mercy!! If I said everytin I felt cos of this unbelievably stu.pid logic in my mind right now , Seun himself wud ban me for 55years....#KIDS |
Mr Man, please conduct yourself honorably and don't use that tone when quoting me. I'm stating what i know as a fact.
Please say what you have facts of. The project was awarded in 2006 by OBJ and the contractor was mobilized 2007. Only for Yardua to suspend it in 2008. He actually wanted to cancel it but when he heard that the total cost for demobilization and other contractual penalties would amount close to the contract sum, he stuck with the suspension. Goodluck Jonathan restructured the contract terms and broke it down to sections. Now it is normal for everyone especially you Sincere9gerian to think it is an achievement of the administration. However, it is a big cookie pot of the corrupt government and nigerians are being fleeced mercilessly. If nigeria has a culture of whistleblowing, i would have done it a long time ago.
What d ffuck are you talking about? Do you hv any sense at all?? Must you IJIOTS always 'criticize', fooolishly?? |
I have finali gotten my hands, after weeks of trying to 're-find' it from when I 1st saw it, on d YOUTUBE Video of a moving train on d Recently Completed (track-laying) of d Itakpe-Ajaokuta-Ore-Agbor-Warri Standard Rail Guage (d 1st completed Standard Rail Guage in West Africa) which has been on d drawing board since d late 1970's 3rd National Development Plan and whose construction started in d late 1980's. I will post d Video later today... |
Just read d Premium Times Article, and d Editors shld be thoroughly Ashamed of themselves. I mean if you want to lie, don't do d Elementary mistake na??... Do they know d Difference bw Selling Price, Cost Price, Profit, and d % Shared from d Profit. Do they think Oil magicali produce and sell itself?? *smdh* Look hw they calculated d supposed Amount Nigeria 'earned' from Oil as well as Excess Crude Fund in d period Jan-Oct, 2013. Kai! PROPAGANDA can be such an azzz... |
Pennywise: To stay relevant on this thread, you will need to prove to us that this doc did not emanate from Sanusi otherwise you are just an average liar. You are funny. I should 'prove' what? Do I look like d Accuser to you?? |
ballabriggs: Mumu here is your answer.OLODO. So NNPC lifted Crude worth $65billion (which is even probably d SELLING PRICE), remitted only $15bn and 'diverted' $50bn, yet d Federal, States and LGAs have been funding their budgets -with their their SALIVAR, shey?? Like I said una no sabi lie at all. By d way, at an Average of 2million bpd and at a cost of an Average of $105, Nigerian Oil wud SELL for about $77billion a year. This is d Selling Price. If d Cost of producing and shipping d Oil by d Oil companies is subtracted, d resulting Difference is d SHAREABLE PROFIT. This Profit is then shared bw d Govt and d Oil Companies at an Average ratio of 60:40, and d Govt's share goes to d Federation Account to be shared bw d Tiers of Govt. The Amount of money due to d Federation Account every year from Crude Oil Sales wud be bw $30-$40bn (or less) every year. You mean d NNPC 'diverted' (whateva that means) $50bn of this money in 1.5yrs and Nigeria is still existing and budgets of All d 812 Govts in Nigeria(where Oil money constitute bw 60-70% of d budgetary Revenue) are still be ran?? I mean, I wud reali love for you to make all of these sensible, for if na small... |
Good job... I saw parts of d projects on NTA News yterday, along with other huge projects like d Gurara (hope I got d spelling right) Multipurpose dam and d new Kaduna Power Plant been constructed.... By d way, thank God for SURE-P. ALL d Physical projects SURE-P is handling are making sense and been delivered at a FAST pace (except for Onitsha-Enugu Rd, which is still slow): Lagos-Kano narrow Railline, PH-Enugu-Maiduguri narrow Railline, Benin-Ore Rd, Abuja-Lokoja Rd Dualisation, Kano-Maiduguri Dualisation, East-West Rd, etc etc. |
lol... So NNPC 'diverting' $49.5billion of its Crude Oil sales from d Federation Account, koo? I thought I even saw $49million initiali. So how much does Nigeria make in Sales of Crude Oil in a year or two, esp since they 'remitted' $15billion to d Federation Account according to this account?? And there was still money to run budgets- FG, States and LGAs??.... Abeg, make people learn how to talk lie well |
HNosegbe: Is it a security risk to show pictures of the room in question?I bow o. Me too want to see it too... |
yemi2plus: Name her nairaland when ever she chooses to come out.lol...d baby nick name go bi NL ... @OP, we hapi 4 u o |
jmaine: He passed the FOI bill against all odd despite knowing what fodder it will be in the hands of the media and ever lousy progrethieves opposition. You dey mind d HYPOCRITE!! This same Tambuwal heads a HOR that has received d PIB Bill SINCE JUNE/JULY LAST YEAR (ie almost one-and-a-half years ago), a bill that provides d most COMPREHENSIVE means of reducing d Corruption in d current darkness that is d murky Nigeria's Oil Industry, yet till today NOBODY knows where d helll d bill is in that House or d Senate (it had passed 2nd reading for more than 8months now without ANYTIN been heard about it till today). Tambuwal heads a House that only a week or so ago, passed tru 2nd Reading, a bill that wud now allow Politicians/Public office holders to keep Foreign Accounts, thereby rubbishing efforts at reducing money laudering!! Yet this same Tambuwal is suddenly talking about Corruption! And what is worse, d 4 Cases/Examples he gave to make his point against d President are all wogwash...... If he wants to finali/openly move to d 'Opposition' of d President, let him go without disturbing us with his Pathetic HYPOCRISY, joor |
