Here is the Video on Nigeria Agric Transformation Success Stories Part I, as hosted by the NSE and CNBC Africa.

These 3 Videos explains this comment:

For instance, who knew that both Okomu Oil and Presco have both DOUBLED (yea, I said Doubled) their Production Capacity in d last 3 years? And that d Parent Company of Presco is building another entirely 'new Presco II' in Rivers state, Or that PZ/Wilmar are both building what wud be d largest Oil Milling Cop in Nigeria and Africa in Cross Rivers state?? How many people know that Michelin (and Dunlop, I think) still has active thousands of hectares of Rubber Plantations in Nigeria even after pulling out Production from d country, Or that both Okomu and Presco have acquired thousands of hectares of Rubber Plantations (yea right, I mean Rubber, not Oil Palm) in Edo and Delta in d last 2 years (so d fact that Nigeria exported over $2billion worth of Rubber already this year isn't that much of a surprise as it honestly was when I read it here)? How many people know that Nigeria's Yield per hectare of Rubber is d best in d world; better than those of Indonesia and Malaysia?
Other Info to be gleaned from Video include those of the huge success of Notore (former NAFCON) and the Alhaji investments on cattle and Albatoir (He was a Revelation, and I never heard about him previously).

Sincere 9gerian: APC rats are here again with their lies and propaganda. They have claimed all sorts of things, including that the port was designed by Fashola or Lagos State Govt.

We know APC rats are senseless but for the sake of independent minded Nigerians, the Lekki deep sea port project has been on the drawing board for decades. In fact, former president, OBJ, gave anticipatory approval for the project in 2003. I guess Fashola was still pushing wheel barrow in the streets of Lagos or doing charge and bail lawyer in 2003.
Bwahahahahahahaha... This is what we call: 'technical dead knockout'. Orishirishi. This was d questn I just wanted to ask d Clowns too.... Biko, @sincere9jerian Nwannem, I salute your Intellectual Sagacity (not that you need much of it sha cos yr 'opponents' here are innately DULL people). God Bless Fashola The Genius, God Bless Lagos State Government, God Bless Yorubaland and God Bless Federal Republic of Nigeria. When completed in the next four years, thousands of people shall be employed. Fashola is indeed a visionary leader. I just love our APC Southwest Governors, they are Brilliant and giving us the results. APC shall rule in Southwest till Jesus Comes. Eko O Ni Baje OOOO and Osun A Dara.

Ayekotoo: This is project designed by Lagos government. it has nothing to do with your FG. if you want your Abraka deep port to get done, hold your governments for the negligence. BTW stop claiming what doesn't belong to you. its intellectual theft!
Lol... 'it has nothing to do with d FG', yet you are on a thread reporting that d FG, tru FEC, just gave d Contract for d construction of d port; just as d FG's Equity share in d project is 20% whilst d LASG you are telling us 'owns' d Project wud contribute just 18.5% (this is apart from d Fact that d Loan that wud be mainly used to construct it is GUARANTEED by d FG)!!!.

I swear, sm of u Clowns think and then write with yr Intestines here on NL, instead of yr brains
Politics › Re: FEC Approves $1.3b For Construction Of Lekki Deep Sea Port by taharqa: 8:42pm On Dec 04, 2013
Ayekotoo: This is a project conceived and initiated by Babatunde Fashola while the FG came in as the regulator before they(FG) later agreed to collaborate with the LASG to invest in it.
That is d LIE that Lagos State Govt/Fashola has been telling you sinceee, Bros... Now, you know d truth. Hopefully huh
Politics › Re: FEC Approves $1.3b For Construction Of Lekki Deep Sea Port by taharqa:
plaindealer: 1. You mind showing us any documented fact stating the exact date this project was initiated and by who?

2. If this Ijaw man was responsible for awarding this contract, then why is he yet to award the contract for the 30 year old drawing board 2nd Niger bridge?

3. And why are they awarding contracts for everything in other parts of the country and not this 30 year old drawing board 2nd Niger bridge?

Is it not obvious that this has nothing to do with GEJ and more to do with the folks controlling and directing the Nations funds, their alliance and need to approve money for everything in their respective regionS?

The Ijaw man is powerless with zero influence and can not approve money for anything in his core base and area of support.
'Musings' of a very very DULL mind....

The Info on this thread has really jolted me and forced me to begin an Intense search on the different Sectors of d Nigerian Economy and the extent/direction of changes in those Sectors. I hv been practicali surfing d Net, including Youtube, for sm days now. And, Oh Boy did I discover things??

For instance, d kind of developments in d Ceramic/Tiles subsector is simply Astonishing and yet I never knew anything about it. And of course Agriculture, where a true Revolution (and I usuali do not use that word lightly) is currently taken place. For instance, who knew that both Okomu Oil and Presco have both DOUBLED (yea, I said Doubled) their Production Capacity in d last 3 years? And that d Parent Company of Presco is building another entirely 'new Presco II' in Rivers state, Or that PZ/Wilwax are both building what wud be d largest Oil Milling Cop in Nigeria and Africa in Cross Rivers state?? How many people know that Nigeria's Yield per hectare of Rubber is d best in d world; better than those of Indonesia and Malaysia?

On Rice, I watched Youtube Videos of 7 new Rice Mills (out of at least 14) that have opened in d last 3yrs. Or, the fact that for the 1st time in d nation's history, Nigeria now has at least 2 companies that produces Fruit Concentrates for our industry and hopely for export instead of importing ALL d Concentrates when we are sm of d top producers of d Fruits in d world in d 1st place- Tearago Citrus Conc Cop in Benue (I knew of this b4) and Dangote Pineapple Conc Cop in Cross Rivers (didn't know of this b4)? Or Fertilizers, Milk, Liquid Steel, Plastics, etc etc etc......

I wud be bringing these new Info bit-by-bit on this thread (as well as the threads that I wud surely opened on sm of them). Plz, if any person has other Info, I wud reali love to see it in order to learn and discuss. My Passion for this country's future and Respect for GEJ just got a huge boost these past for days. Just as my Rage at d Persons in charge of d President's and Govt's image/publicity got a concomitant boost in d opposite direction...

ROSSIKE: I think the simultaneous remodeling of 22 national airports is a sign of reduced corruption in the system. I'm looking at these newly, fabulously remodelled airports like Kano, Enugu, Benin etc and thinking, ''so where the hell was all the money going before this Jonathan govt came to power??'' I'm looking at the long abandoned railway system, suddenly roaring back to life, and estimated to cover something like 5 million passengers this year alone. And I'm thinking ''hang on a second.. where is this money coming from since we've been repeatedly told by past govts that there was no money to do these things?''

Meanwhile, road transport companies have filled the airwaves in an unprecedented endorsement of the federal govt highway reconstruction programme, that has seen thousands of miles of federal roads returned to perfect condition. Again leading one to think ''surely they can't be embezzling that much of our earnings if they're doing all this now with our money!''

chess guru: I believe ASUU is being really unfair. A lot of people are using their already preconceived sentiments about FG when discussing this issue.
Now, granted that ASUU have a justified basis for demanding some of the things they want. But at this juncture, I believe they are J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊S̤̥̈̊τ̲̣̣̥ abusing the power and influence that industrial actions affords them.
In what sane country does a union continue on an industrial action on a "public"institution becos of fear of insincerity of government.
They wanted the attention of the FG, they've gotten the number 1 person in the country to give into their demands, yet its not enough.
Why not institute a window period of observance to see if this "particular" government will not do what it has now agreed?
Don't dey realize that by asking for signatures from here and there, they insult the office of the commander in chief (sadly, an office that means nothing to the average untrained, ill-mannered "child of anger" we see throwing tantrums up and down on social media, who see nothing wrong in insulting someone old enough to be their father).
Let's not forget ASUU themselves ain't no saints. Let's not forget who exactly we are dealing with here. Peeps who have survived hands of lecturers can vouch on the "sincerity" of most of these learned lecturers.
Finally, you can't have a "negotiation" without "compromise". Someone should please highlight to me (I stand to be corrected) the areas ASUU have conceded knowing fully well that its millions of children and not them that are directly suffering (since one of the extra conditions is that they should be paid salaries For going on strike) .
You can't command your govt to meet all your conditions and still call it a negotiation. And even when the most important person agrees to your terms, you still find extra terms to add.
Lest be practical, which government in this world that concedes to all conditions and even the little extra ones won't be seen as a weak government?
So what stops association xyz from coming up tomorrow and starting their own strike without any plan for compromise all to the detriment of nigerian people?
ASUU should stop holding nigeria to ransome pls.
At last a comment from a sound mind...

AdekunleBalogun: I watch the interview earlier today, believe me this government is a complete waste of time, imagine a government official signing an agreement and still comes around to deny it, if ASUU should call-off this strike without achieving the aims of this strike will be a total defeat to Nigerian student. To tell you how wicked this government is, over-time they've been toying with education can be seen in the total collapse in both primary and secondary education. If not for this ASUU strike we will all be thinking all is we well with the tertiary institutions, to even think a government official can even come out in the open and lied to the Nigerian people without any remorse beats my imagination. #ALUTACONTINUA.
