how did u know he is on drugs?. Just dey talk nonsense!
A mor0n siding with a nonentity! |
"Now talking about APC, how can Chido tie the future of APC to one man, General Buhari (Rtd) in a nation of 150 million people? Is Chido saying that if anything happens to Buhari today, APC will not fill a presidential candidate in 2015? Don’t we have more than 50 presidential candidates who can do better than Buhari if we search for them?" This has always been my stand. In as much as I have enormous regard for the General, his supporters should stop making it seem as if, without him all hope is lost. APC stands a better chance of winning the presidency in 2019 than in 2015! |
Omexonomy: The major reason for this was that tinubu and el rufai were given serious disgrace at the party which was rummored that tinubu paid N2 billion naira to attend.Stay off drugs for your own good!!! |
^ What is antagonistic about the opposition saying that the President cannot impinge on the rights of Nigerians to form political parties(Freedom of Association)? If the president is serious about it, he should send a bill to the national assembly seeking to amend the section of the constitution that allows for Freedom of association, and the electoral act in order to give room for just two political parties instead of saying things that are at variance with the constitution. Criticism is the grist of democracy. Both the politically motivated and the patriotic selfless critics have a legitimate right to voice opinions, no matter how unpalatable. "An impotent opposition, An enduring tyranny." |
Bunkum! The ministers did not mention the directive because they knew it was an empty talk, "mere rhetoric"! Did the president just realize that he has ministers and aides who wear corruption as ornament and flaunt loot like a medal or that most of them are jolly junketeers and wastrels? Even the permanent secretary who threw a lavish wedding party for his daughter with some members of FEC in attendance, was only re-deployed to another ministry! Is that enough punishment to serve as deterrent to others? So-So talk, when we know the anti-graft agencies are toothless and gum-less Joker! ![]() |
Alxmyr: I cannot but laugh at your calculations.I agree with you that GEJ will win the presidential primary because he now controls the party machinery. It is also very easy for him to create factions in those states where the governors are up in arms against him, all he needs is for the party headquarters to recognize the factions loyal to him. Kwankwanso and the other aggrieved governors are no political neophytes. Before they decided to challenge the status quo, they must have weighed their options. Which is either decamp to APC or play the spoiler's role in PDP. Even if they lose control of the party in their respective states, they still control the politics of their states. You need to know the power and influence those men wield in the politics of their states. Have you asked yourself why Wamakko was quickly recalled back into the party fold? Are you not aware of how the state PDP in Sokoto dis associated itself from the national headquarters during the suspension saga? Imagine the PDP losing the governorship and national assembly seats in those states? It will be a great loss to the part. PDP needs them than they need PDP! Lastly, you claim the likes of Ribadu, Bafarawa, Ogbeh and Udenwa were treated harshly in ACN. I believe you know that is not true, because Ribadu, Ogbeh and Udenwa still remain active members of the ACN. Bafarawa's DPP is also part of the merger. Has Atiku fared any better ever since he returned to PDP? Atiku is a confused politician! |
gramci: President GEJ will secure 2015 d ticket effortlesslyHe has a firm grip on the party machinery now. His major problem now is to keep and pacify the aggrieved governors to remain in the party, otherwise he will find it difficult during the proper polls! |
princenonny: dats absolutely correct!!!! D opposition Fooled amaechi to underestimate the powers of the presidency and now they will abandon him nw he is a sinking ship. Am glad pdp(the best party in the whole world) has once again settled this issue like a family affair. Nw president Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan can now concentrate and give us dividends of democracy. #teamnovacancy2015"the best party in the whole world indeed". There is no limit to sycophancy. I guess when all else fails, there is always delusion! |
What else are we to expect from a kleptomaniac first lady who runs a parallel government, and acts as though the country is her fiefdom? |
EFCC is overwhelmed by corruption, because we have a formidable criminal elite controlling the politics and economy of this nation! |
Are they no longer receiving their N65,000 monthly "stipend"? After training them, they expect government to also provide jobs for them! What should the millions of law-abiding, hardworking Niger-Delta youths who are not beneficiaries of the amnesty do or are they not entitled to such largesse? The JTF should deal with those lazy pricks ! The Amnesty in itself is a fraud! |
Dino Melaye has been vindicated after all! But Can Jonathan sacrifice his beloved and trusted Orubebe? I doubt! Edwin Clark's grouse against Orubebe boils down to the 2015 Delta state governorship seat! As Jonathan imposed a charlatan in Bayelsa state, so shall he impose a thief on Delta state come 2015 |
Source ![]() Sanusi cannot single-handedly freeze the accounts of churches. The president, service chiefs and NSA would certainly be aware and must have given such directive to the CBN. Also it wasn't Sanusi who passed and signed the anti-terrorism Law. No particular religion or group was stated in there. CAN should re-direct their anger elsewhere! Sanusi is just doing his job in accordance with the existing law! |
olabukola: To you they political jobbers and to them you and the people forming alliance with north are political jobbers. The only person that can get me to a polling booth is Fashola. If the(APC) is to present Fashola as candidate, won't they need support from other parts of the country, most especially the region(North) who has agreed to join in the coalition? Are the other regions in the South willing to work with the Yoruba's? Even If the Yoruba's agree to work with the SS and SE, do you think they will allow for a Yoruba candidate when their son is also contesting? Won't they bring up the excuse that OBJ, a Yoruba man not too long ago was president and so power should shift? How will the Yoruba candidate get the needed support, when all these self-serving faceless ethnic champions does, is to weep up toxic embers of hate in the entire country? Is the PDP not a party largely controlled by Northerners? Where was the group when the late Yaradua, an hausa-fulani man was elected president? PDP sponsored ethnic jingoists! |
The proponents of the dictum that there is a PDP in all of us, may be right after all judging by most of the comments above! I just hope they remember that, "An impotent opposition, An enduring tyranny" |
What did we benefit when our own son was there? Nada! Is Gen. Akinrinade a politician? No! Can the Yoruba's alone make him President? No What have we benefited from our alliance with the SS and SE? Nothing! Political jobbers adorning the cloak of self-determination groups. |
It is hard to reduce poverty in any state if you have limited powers to regulate the population or economy. What happens in Lagos is greatly influenced by forces Fashola has no power over, much of this is thanks to the constitution but most straight forward is the fact that we have a constant stream of poor people running to Lagos every day, that there is the nugget. Even if the lives of residents living in Lagos when Fashola assumed office has improved it won't mean much owing to the fact that a few million more people have moved there and have now become his responsibility. For any governor to enrich his state, they all must and that guarantees the failure of Nigeria.
Aptly written! One cannot single out a state governor to tackle poverty, its a collective responsibility of the entire ruling class. Though, State governors also fritter away monies meant for infrastructural and human development on a daily basis, the bottom is knocked off the implementation of fiscal policy. The FG takes the larger percentage of revenue, it foisted the business-unfriendly fiscal and monetary policies on the economy, so most of the blame is hers! It is the FG who propound several economic policies, mostly out of tune with reality. What we need is good governance from top to bottom! |
Good Question! Expecting pro-government lackeys while pretending to be neutral onlookers to resort to their usual manipulative streaks and vitriols, in a bid to derail the thread by attacking the messenger without addressing the message when the harsh reality of worsening poverty stare us all in the face! Government and its economic managers are fond of singing aloud tunes discordant with reality on the ground, an economic boom in the face of a rising debt profile at an unprecedented rate, soaring poverty and unemployment rate. Most Nigerians are no longer in pursuit of a good life but only worry about their daily survival from a short, nasty and brutish end. Waste and mediocrity on the part of those in government has starved a generation in the circle of poverty of hope, ideals and the basic necessities of life! Our resources are a curse to us, but prosperity to a few! A "Transformation Agenda"aimed at transforming the lives of those in government and their friends positively, while Majority of Nigerians remain disillusioned and despondent, placing their faith in "E GO BETTER"! |
eGuerrilla: It is the slim balls who have never stood up or fought for anything noble that Soyinka trained his sights on here. |

Expired products, loosely bound group of yesterday's men and women with ravenous hunger for stealing, political lilliputians and pedestrian fortune seekers with nefarious interests! Most of these men parading themselves as PDP stalwarts are in fact paper-weight in their constituencies. Some cannot even deliver their polling units to PDP. Democracy of endorsement won't work this time around |
thelastPope: It proves absolutely nothing. This your 19th century theory is nothing but laughable! Nobody owns anywhere. I repeat, nobody owns anywhere! Wake up from your slumber. You live in a one room face me I slap you apartment and come to a public forum claiming you own Lagos. Oya, go out on the street now and enter any shop and pick whatever you like and walk away, because you own Lagos...Ogbeni, you get problem. Stay off drugs for good ![]() |

Won kaabo! Most of these self-styled part chieftains cannot deliver their polling units or wards to PDP! Drowning clowns ![]() |
