Abati is illmannered! I can remember him using words like "Collective Children of Anger" on Nigerian youths, and during the Alams pardon saga he claimed those against the pardon were displaying "Sophisticated Ignorance." The president needs to call him to order, in the discharge of his duty, he must not be creating more enemies for his boss! There is nothing to spin here. BH did not start with Sherrif, it is a phenomenon that developed over time since 1995. Sherrif can be accused of arming and sponsoring political thugs(ECOMOG) to execute criminal political activities similar to other political militia gangs in other parts of the country! Didn't BH eventually murder a cousin of his after he withdrew financial support when the group demanded that he implement shariah law? Why is it that most of the Borno politicians arrested or interrogated in connection to BH after the demise of Yusuf are now PDP members eg Ndume n Zannah formally in ANPP now in PDP? At the time Sherrif was sponsoring them in Borno, so was Yuguda doing the same in Bauchi. Isn't Yuguda, formally in ANPP now in PDP? Wasn't it a late Ambassador Pindar, a prominent PDP member who stepped in after the relationship between ECOMOG and Sherrif went sour, and after Pindar died in an auto accident Wasn't it Ndume, a PDP senator who stepped in to fill the vacuum left by Pindar? All these a certain Ali konguda confessed during his interrogation with SSS.

Agreed that BH is an offshoot of ECOMOG( foot soldiers of ANPP governors). Do we then assume that it was later hijacked by PDP politicians since most of the then ANPP chieftains in Borno and Bauchi are now PDP members?

I had expected him to add that a certain Patience Johnathan was arrested by Ribadu's EFCC for money laundering to the tune of $12.5million, and that a JTF on corruption in 2006 headed by Ribadu indicted GEJ for false asset declaration but subsequently "swept under the carpet" so that Abati's boss(GEJ) could be made VP, or he(Abati) forgot that part?

Why is Tinubu left to run wild while some former governors from a particular region like Orji, Nnamani are currently being prosecuted by the FG? I guess the simple answer to why Tinubu still remains a political heavyweight even with all the unverified allegations of enriching himself with state funds, is because he "is a politician extraordinaire, a political tactician." OBJ made more verocious attempt at destroying Tinubu's political relevance but failed woefully and his other detractors seem befuddled because they are unable to understand his methodology.

None of his supporters have come out to say he isn't corrupt, after all 99.9% of Nigerian politicians are corrupt especially those from a region which produced 3 senate presidents who were removed because of fraud/graft and one being an ex-convict(Enwerem). Not all Yorubas worship or glamorize Tinubu, but you've got to respect his determination even with all the odds against him! The Ziks, Ahmadu Bello and Awolowo's weren't saints or perfectionists, they all had their flaws!

This man(Tinubu) built a party(ACN) which most SWesterners gladly accepted after a disruptive reign of the killer party(PDP). You do not expect him to build a party and not lead it! If his party is able to deliver some dividends of democracy unlike the inept PDP, why won't his people respect him?
