See finishing!!! Poster boy of Corruption!!! ![]() |

chaloner: i think its time to remove this CPC from political partyI think its time Seun removed dumb commentators from nairaland! Even after he stated the obvious truth, all you could do is to besmirch his political leaning! |
Liebaran, the legendary liar! Always trying to appear busy meanwhile he is the most irrelevant minister in the cabinet of GEJ with Abati, Okupe and co almost completely taken over his responsibility! |
And tomorrow if this same Premiumtimes write about Jonathan and his corrupt tendencies, people like you will be the first to start bad-mouthing them.Saharareporters have written so much about jonathan which included the Australian saga where he harassed an hotel house keeper but his spokesman denied it yet you want me to believe this simply because the victim was/is sanusi. Will you also have the same opinion if such write-up was against Jonathan ?
You dey mind am? If Premium Times does an exclusive on GEJ, the same hypocrite will come out to say it belongs to El-Rufai! |
When did Premium Times become Hints magazine or City people? Where they(SLS n the lady) bugged, for them to have access to most of their private conversations and "steamy sessions"? How are we to confirm the text messages? How do we know if this isn't a malicious publication?I am disappointed in PremiumTimes, calling a Nollywood Script an exclusive! I won't take this seriously until I see their video/sextape! Lol! |
Dog does not eat dog, and Ole no dey catch Ole! GEJ knows that those who live in glass houses must not throw stones! See the way they(presidency) hurriedly refuted the news! Such cowardice! |
Sincere 9gerian: That advice should go to Lagosians who are under Fashola's bondage of paying tolls for major structures erected COMPLETELY with public funds.I am sorry you are asking the wrong person these questions. Kindly redirect them to Eko-Ile and co. How come whenever GEJ's government is challenged/critique the next thing you do is to make comparison with Fashola? If Fashola is tolling his bridges, is that why GEJ should also toll his? The intention to build the 2nd Niger bridge through a PPP arrangement was just made known this year, so you claim that FG had made their intention known from the onset is a lie. With the right political will, GEJ can build the 2nd niger bridge toll free! |
Obiagelli: It's all about will and visionI believe you, its all about the will and vision. Anambra and Delta states can jointly build the bridge by securing loan which the FG can guarantee or they can go into a PPP partnership. I am not from the SE but I feel the best way GEJ can compensate those from that region for supporting him is to build the bridge toll free. If the total cost of construction is N100billion, FG can prioritise the bridge and set aside N25billion for four years and not putting the people there into the slavery of a PPP arrangement! |
Sincere 9gerian: That of Nigeria was 120% because the last time Nigeria touched fuel price was in 2006-2007. But Ghana has always increased fuel price almost on annual basis. But even if GEJ increases fuel price by 5%, opposition parties, ethnic warlords and mischief makers will still take to the streets. Why not provide us with the history of subsidy removal in Ghana. The last time Ghana partially removed subsidy before February 2013 was in 2009 from c3.80 to c5.00 and In 2007 Nigeria increased its won from N40 to N65. Both counties have an history of removal of subsidies from time to time. Even with your Ghana example, its a fact that Ghanaians have in the time past resisted hike in prices of petroleum products not until they started having a little bit of "responsible leadership", that is to tell you that Ghanians now trust their leaders to an extent something which is lacking in Nigerians and her leadership. Didn't those you called the opposition, mischief makers and tribal war lords accept the new price of N97 even if it was accepted half-heartedly? Funnily, government and pro-government forces are trying to play the victim after mismanaging PFS funds |
Sincere 9gerian: You made mistake? Why write with such finality on what you'r not sure of? There's a huge difference between 200% and 120%. If you were not sure, you should have atleast written "not sure" instead of trying to deceive gullible people.Guy stop being mischievous. Why did you also peg the increase in Ghana's fuel price at 20% when in actual fact its a 15-20% increase? I made a mistake and you pointed it out of which I admitted to the error and modified it, something you will not do! Mind you 2 is next to one on my keyboard! stay on the topic and stop being petty! Ghana increased fuel price by 15-20% and even now that they've decided to remove the entire subsidy, the increase in price will only be by 2.5% whereas Nigeria tried to increase by 120%! |
Sincere 9gerian: I dont think we should tell lies on this issue. Ghana increased fuel price by 20% and diesel by 50% in February this year.Who is telling lies here? Ghana increased the cost of fuel by a 15-20%, kero by 15% and diesel by 50% which is already deregulated in Nigeria? exposeghana.com/national-petroleum-authority-increases-fuel-prices/ Yeah, I made the mistake of typing 2 instead of 1 which I have already modified. It should be when Ghana increased theirs by 15-20% Nigeria's increase was by 120%! Need I remind you that Nigeria's inflation rate as at Jan 2012 was in double digit! What was the unemployment rate in Nigeria as at the time when the president made the pronouncement? |
Sincere 9gerian: That is not correct. What past govt did were fuel price hike not complete removal of fuel subsidy. What the govt tried to do in Jan 2012 was complete removal of fuel subsidy, not just fuel price hike. Though because of the resistance the govt eventually only increased fuel price.I beg to disagree with you sir. The bottom line is that Nigerians have always resisted an increase in prices of petroleum products not to now talk of total removal of subsidy right from the days of IBB. You claim the Jonathan government tried to sensitize Nigerians on the need for subsidy removal, even when the ministers of finance and petroleum could not categorically state the average daily consumption of petroleum products? Even when these same ministers paid out huge sums of money to briefcase companies without verification, yet these same ministers are still occupying their positions in government. When some of those ministers through proxy owns some of those companies! So you expect Nigerians to trust the government even after knowing all these? What is the difference between the SURE programme and Abacha's PTF? Smh! |
Sincere 9gerian: Read the report again, there was price increase recently in February. That explains why the current price change is 2% or so. But subsequently, prices will fluctuate with international crude oil price. Also, anyone that builds a refinery in Ghana today will make MASSIVE profit. So why wont Dangote take his money there? In february, Ghana increased fuel price by 15% whereas Nigeria increased theirs in January to roughly over 100% before it was brought down due to the protest. And even now that they have decided to remove the entire subsidy, the price increase is just by 2.5% even if the international prices of crude oil goes the increase won't be more than 3%. You can do the maths by yourself to know why Nigerians resisted the overnight hike in fuel price by 100%. Some have argued in favour of partial subsidy removal at intervals provided government is willing to take steps in providing palliatives and reducing corruption in the scheme. I believe Nigerians are not against the full deregulation of the downstream sector but government needs to get its act right! |
gregg2: Those elements in the opposition know the truth but will deceive gullible Nigerians with hate filled lies and deliberate we-must-pull-the-Jonathan-government-down-at-all-cost-syndrome.Nigerians have been resisting the removal of fuel subsidy even during the military era so the january protest wasn't about "pull-the-jonathan-government-down-syndrome." You guys(pro Government) like playing the victim whereas the real victims are those whose resources have been rapedd and plundered by this same government who paid monies to briefcase companies and some they used in financing their election! |
Two wrongs don't make a right, the commissioner shouldn't have thrown decorum to the wind by engaging some overzealous and irresponsible police officers in fisticuffs. The man is the commissioner for environment and Monitoring the sanitation exercise is part of his responsibility. And how come the police are complaining that he obstructed traffic when we all know that there's no vehicular movement during sanitation? Why didn't the commissioner go with his official car cos I am so sure no policeman would have the effrontery to deflate the tyres of a government vehicle especially the one senior government officials drive? |
Diezani and the other oga's mistresses! ![]() |
Sincere 9gerian: Reports from SR (except for press releases) are mostly beer parlour gossips and liesJust as the Patience Jonathan health ordeal and that of GEJ using Bayelsa state poverty alleviation fund to bring Jay Z to Nigeria were lies? You believe Sahara Reporters news when it exposes the opposition but quick to dismiss it when it concerns GEJ. Don't be an hypocrite, remember you also visit the site! Remember we know you are also @IfyDemo4ever! |
I would have loved this to be true but Can someone who has benefited, in no small measure from the looters' spoils probe another of corruption? You can never fight corruption with soiled hands. The same GEJ who through his Attorney General asked the court to quash the request of an anti-corruption NGO who through the court asked that the Okigbo report indicting IBB be made public! The past and present presidents of Nigeria have dossiers on each other so they can't probe each other! |
Which way Nigeria? So we will continue to be held hostage by these old and recycled members of the criminal enterprise called PDP who have prioritised political banditry at the expense of good governance! When will Nigerian youths start mobilising themselves to wrestle power from theses ruling elite whose leading lights are treasury looters, sponsors of violence and patrons of crime syndicate? This statement from Gulak corroborates with that of a former PDP chairman who boasted that PDP will rule Nigeria for 60years, that means after their own demise their offspring are already programmed to take over from them. PDP, a party of rogue politicians and APC a party of rebels! Okay o! |
Well, this isn't strange. The leaders of ACN in Rivers State chapter ie Sekibo and co are known political enemies of Amaechi, and are only trying to score cheap political point cos Amaechi chased them out of PDP and rendered them partially irrelevant in Rivers politics. We all need to understand the politics going on here! |
kingoflag: ^^^^ ^^^^ ^^^^^That's Reno Omokri's Naijapundit for you? An obvious outlet for propaganda and disinformation! |

Before nko? Sore loser, lost is place in the PDP NEC and now this! ![]() |
Celebrating 14 years of good governance with public funds, and having eminent personalities like Alams and Bode George in attendance! Nigeria- A Banana Republic! |
oxford: Aside fighting Jonathan, what are they there for? They join hands with the executive in padding the national budget! |
The SW still remains the only region that has a way of punishing inept elected public office holders. A good example was the 2011 general elections. It doesn't matter if ACN is the leading party in the region for now, once they derail from providing the dividends and the people get fed up, they will also be swept out just as it was done to PDP. Unlike in some regions where PDP have held sway for the past 14 years with no significant and visible achievement to show for it! |
Do you mind them? Dem full everywhere, waiting for good governance to appear from thin air. Dem dey find Mahatma Gandhi wey go fight for dem. People just fail to accept the realities biting them in the arse and expect shït to be all rosy. If you don't like Melaye's brand of activism, start yours.
That's the truth! Most of them are waiting for saints and perfectionists to bail them out While they criticise out of the political arena with the usual E-GO-BETTEr demeanour. Yes, Dino has his own little failings as we all do, but at least he is trying to make a difference in his own little way by championing anti-corruption crusade where as the arms chair critics do nothing! |
Funnily on his facebook page he has those who commended him for his resilience and steadfastness in the fight against corruption, but the @Op chose to select the comments of his antagonists! Well, he has challenged those comfortable with the status quo and who derive joy in captive bonding to dig out corruption allegations and any indictment against him. Knowing some misguided Nigerian youths, they won't do such and most will actually do worse than the thieving politicians we all call out daily if opportuned to be in a position of authority. Since I have nothing to hold against him other than being a politician in a country where 99% of our politicians are thieves with an impotent and docile followership, I'll have to commend him for speaking out against corruption cos nothing stops him from grovelling those thieving elites being an AGIP(Any Government in Power) |
