orelove4liff: read with sense.remove dat word "company" 4rm ur post and are u sayin i should be writin d speech being read out in trenchard hall ui?u must be kiddinContracts are awarded in Company names my dear. You made allegation that all the major contracts of Oyo and Osun were awarded to Tinubu without knowing the Companies handling the projects. Lectures usually have Organisers either a Faculty or Dept in your school or by Civil societies and its mostly placed on the internet. If you were a serious student all you need to do is google the topic and the organisers and post so that we know its not just beer parlour gist |
orelove4liff: i was in schl "ui" abt 3weeks ago wen aregbesola of osun came and deliver a lecture.he said he pitied ppl critisizin d award of major contracts of oyo and osun to tinubu.he said tinubu was in d beta position to manage dem.he den boasted by mentionin those 2 and he ask "are d projects nt gud 4 oyo state?"You haven't answered my question. Earlier you alleged that his company was awarded the Mokola overhead bridge and the Secretariat and yet you do not know the name of the Company except that you claimed Aregbe said so which as a politician if such was true he will not come in the open to say so. Pls let's have the excerpt of Aregbe's speech in that lecture cos dis is a serious allegation |
orelove4liff: acn won in those states because d gov in power then"pdp" were beast but nw dis one na labour party.acn govs are performin buh we must nt all belong to acn b4 a gov can perform and mind u,i dont belong to any partyElection is all about the choices we choose to make. I have no Problem with either Mimiko or ACN winning Ondo. Either there are in ACN or LP. Excluding PDP all we need from them is performance and regional integration. |
orelove4liff: go to oyo state,d biggest projects in d state are being awarded to tinubu.example are mokola ovahead bridge and secretariat.dats y he is againstin mimiko because of ondo oil money......arrogant guyKindly list the projects awarded to his company and the name of the company |
orelove4liff: any1 dat has common sense wil knw knw had mimiko agreed to join acn for tinubu to control buh performed below his current achievements, tinubu would hav bin referrin to him as d best gov in history.tinubu has 4gotten not all yorubas are fools.thank god mimiko isnt in their main opposition which is pdpWhat do you mean by not all Yorubas are fools? The last time I checked ACN won governorship elections in Lagos, Ogun and Oyo and won 90% of Legislative seats in 5 SW states. Do you mean that other Yorubas are fools and the Ondo people are the only wise ones? Tinubu might be bad and so is Mimiko and other politicians. Please learn when not to generalise and reduce the bitterness in you. Both Tinubu and Mimiko are Yorubas and we all are not fools |
ALEBS: I guess this is one of those ACN propaganda. If you check the Nation's version of the story, it is almost the same as this word for word, except the difference in the name of the newspaper. It's certain that the same person wrote the article and you wouldn't find it on another credible site.Is Vanguard now an ACN newspaper supposing we agree that The Nation is Tinubu's? So the Journalist that works with The Nation also works for Vanguard? So because both media houses reported a story that indicted your chosen Party, there are no longer Credible. Sites when in fact there are among the highest selling newspaper in Nigeria. If Vanguard had reported that ACN member's were caught thumb printing ballot papers, surely you would never doubt the authenticity of such news. You are the real Propagandists here from the look of things with your selective judgement |
GOWON (Go On With One Nigeria), Husband of the Biafrans. At 78 none of these e-warriors Biafran seething with frustration can challenge you or take you to ICJ for charges of genocide. Now we know the faint hearted. |
ROSSIKE: As do even student economists, not to mention professors!Guy am tired of all these your academic post that has no ripple effect on realities. Your argument is that Nigerians now have a higher Purchasing Power so are prone to consume more. If so you mean consuming inferior and substandard goods,Yes You claim unemployment is on the decline. Bloody Liar You claim Nigeria is more industrialised than India, Hell No. Check with CAC the numbers of registered and functioning companies and make a survey of those who have closed down due to infra structural and financial constraint. Finally stop living a lie by depending on outsiders projections cos there are quick to lead you astray |
ROSSIKE: Who said car purchases were the ''only'' indicator of economic boom? Rising consumer purchases ARE a sign of a growing economy and Nigeria's annual household expenditure is rising at the rate of 9% per annum. You claim rising consumer purchases is an indicator of economic boom. Yes, it only applies to countries where Savings is higher or proportionate to Consumption but the otherwise is the case with Nigeria ie consumption without savings cos we live for the moment. You claim household consumption in Nigeria is growing more than the BRICS nations. The BRIC nations are producer of finished goods and are more industrialised than Nigeria which runs an import based economy. Unemployment rate is optimal high, more companies and businesses folding up than those establishing. Quit giving priorities to all these rating sites cos there are mostly liars |
ROSSIKE: Nigeria car imports rise 15 percent in half of 2012Am not disputing the fact that Nigerians are car freaks but what % of the population can afford these cars? How many owners of these cars do you know how they made their monies? A typical Naija rich person can own an average of 4 cars and it doesn't translate but how many are without cars. So because few people are building houses in highbrow areas while thousands are relocating to ghettos and slums means economic boom. Do we have any of those cars produced in Nigeria but the little growth we are making makers of automobiles and car marts in foreign countries take back from us. Do you know that BMW has a factory in SA but we drive more BMW's than them. In Fela's voice this is suffering and smiling, just one sitting and 99 standing |
Rossikk: Any proof to back your beer parlour analysis?Guy there are fast and luxury cars even in poorer countries. Being able to afford those cars depend on your hustle and not because the economy is booming. There are millionaires in several poorer nations with low per capital income but for the mere fact that you see a selected few cruising doesn't translate to economic growth or development. Most Nigerian artistes have widen their scope beyond Nigeria eg Dbanj, you cannot claim the level of his wealth is due to Nigeria' economy |
Abeg @Op what sort of idiocy are you trying to display here? Is it your aim to encourage criminality cos most of the vehicles on display belongs to 419ners, Drug pushers, Subsidy thieves and ritualists excluding the artists. So because Dbanj drives an aston martins it means our economy is booming. Go to major bus stops across the federation and see millions queuing to get a cab not to talk of those who would trek. Guess you were trying to say that GEJ has improved the economy that is why dubious people now drive posh cars.Trying to judge the economy with the affluence of selected few |
Senator Aliyu Ndoma Egba again? Something is fishy about this man and this dreaded sect. Either they want to ruin his political career; that is if this story is untrue but if otherwise, this man should tell Nigerians what he knew about this sect. This is the second time this man is been linked with this sect. This case should not be swept under the carpet because of the parties involved, whosoever that has hand in the death of over 2500 people including foreigners should be brought to book. There is no sacred cow this time, Nigerians and the word are watching Nigeria, the giant of Africa, which has won several awards in Africa and even the world in general, through the un peace keeping mission cannot maintain internal peace for herself. It is a pity i am ashame to be a Nigerian.
Bros which one is Aliyu Ndoma Egba? Ndoma Egba isn't from Maiduguri, the suspected senator with links to Boko Haram is Aliyu Ndume. This report has no name of the senator attached to it, but whoever it is he should be brought to book. |
FreeGlobe: ^Liar don't bobo us with your foul mouth that you didn't vote for him cos you were still a kid then. Each man has his little failings in life and Abiola was no exemption. Fela himself was no saint. You claimed earlier that Abiola sank a ship load of Bible but any grown up then knows that Churches and Mosques both benefited from his largesse and he gave out a lot of scholarships across all divide in Nigeria. Abiola dead or alive will always be more prominent. Than anyone in your family. |
@Op, you have no competition for the crown of the most stupid person on NL |
FreeGlobe: I like it when nitwits like you are uncomfortable with the truth. You dont need age restrictions, you need common sense.Eeya because I corrected the lies your parents told you, you chose to hang yourself. Rather than vent your frustration on me pls hold your parents culpable cos they are LIARS. Schizophrenic Kid |
FreeGlobe: He had only a Koran and Bible?Guess we need Age Restriction cos I don't understand what toddlers like the Above Poster is doing on this forum. You should still be listening to folklore and not come here to circumvent what matured minds are discussing with your childish mummy told me tales. |
If 500 plots is allocated to Law makers then 1500 will be for the Executive. Chop I chop and Arrangee Government. |
Tafugo: There was a bidding process and they lost period now they are crying. The problem with our Governors is that they think they are god..The company with a better bid and business plan probably won so they should take a chill pill. All the Governors do anyway is steal money so why should they be giiven a ferr hand to controll the Discos again.I thought the aim of the exercise was to take it away from Govt into private hands. If they dare go ahead with their nonsense it will set a nasty precedence as we in Lagos will demand that MD of FAAN NIMASA and NPA etc must be Yoruba men abi.Iboris boy should be called to order immidieatly .That was racketeering and not bidding. Emeka Offor is a guy who lacks credibility, how well did he his Chrome manage all the TAM contracts he collected or is it the Kastec gas pipeline fraud. Where did Abdulsalam get his money? Abacha's recovered loot. Gbolade Osibodu is simply a front man .All these guys are worse than the state governors. |
faithin9ja: But you trust state governments?Countries like China and co are much into State Capitalism. There is nothing wrong with PPP the problem has always been the Exclusive right the FG hold on energy/power. Several State governments has demonstrated goodwill in investing in power even when the FG arm twisted them. One company should not be 100% in charge of distribution without part ownership of the people of the state. |
These states have invested largely in power generation and transmission unlike Vigeo who is an untested new entrant. I believe that the state government joint consortium would have been better. I simply don't trust some of these investors |
Nna people and crime. |
The NJC redeemed itself by his recall and the Court cleared him. Though its still unconfirmed but the Truth shall prevail |
taharqa: Define Arrogance plz?Guy one of the reasons there are calling for her sack is because of the persistent protests of SEC officials. The report that was submitted before her re-call indicted her for being High handed and if you can recall that Anyim chastised her for that. Most SEC staff including the competent ones find it difficult to relate with her. I don't doubt her know how but there should be a way of carrying your people along. In every organisation there are good ones and saboteurs but a good leader should know how to manage them which is what Oteh lacks |
None has deemed it fit to question the rationale behind the Judge's absence but are quick to dispute the motive of the plaintiff. GEJ and Yaradua were both elected on the same ticket which qualified him to take over from him. So the argument that he was not voted for is base less. If the constitution states that one is only permitted to contest elections for a max of Two terms and 8yrs. It is only the Court that can interpret then cos if he seeks re election in 2015 then he would have used more than 9yrs. |
I do not doubt Oteh's ability to drive the Capital Market but her arrogance is her albatross. We have much distinguished women like NOI who have through their HUMILITY carried their workforce along without any qualms. We have a lot of bad people in Nigeria's bureaucracy but ones ability to drive them to achieve your goal makes you a good leader. Oteh should quit her arrogance and see how successful she would be. |
Shame on all those who organised prayer sessions for her recovery while she claimed she wasn't hospitalised and Shame on Dame for telling us this bold lie after God had intervened in the process of her recovery. |
I can see that you are bitter with life; suicide is an option sha
I reciprocate this Same gesture to you and your relatives. Silly kid wants to feel among. |
Beer parlour gist. This Op is a complete Ode |
taharqa: Are you not bn really foo.lish as usual? How can govt remove subsidy in order to protect the 'cabals'? If the govt really wantd these so-calld 'cabals' to continue to hv access to free money( subsidy), wouldnt d govt be fighting to keep the conditn of Economic rent that it met so that their 'cabal friends' wud continue to fleece d nation just as they hv bn doing since d time of Obj? Why did the President put his then considerable political capital on d line in order to cut d source of the 'free money' from the 'cabal' thieves if he wantd to keep supporting these same 'cabals'. Your stu.pid reasoning is akin to saying that dis govt removing Fertilizer subsidy that have always bn paid to 'political farmers' who never supply d fertilizers to d real farmers anyways, and which was d main source of corruptn in d Min of Agric for years, but instead now pays it directly to the farmers themselves is somehow a way of supporting those same 'cabals' in that ministry.... Logic needs to be reintroducd in our primary and secondary schools i swear; sm ppl are literate but barely educatedPls who paid the free money(subsidies) to the cabal? Government. Government itself aided the cabal because NNPC,DPR,PPPRA,Min of finance, budget office,Office of the AG and the Presidency paid monies out without verifying their claims. Though I may not subscribe to the view that removal of subsidy was to protect the cabals because govt itself is part of the cabal |
University of Ibadan, none compares. Even most of the early lecturers of UNN,ABU,OAU graduated from UI. |
