Those of us with long memories recall eminent APC member and Nigeria's quintessential turncoat, Femi Fani-Fayode, making similar remarks back in 2015 cool

"It is not Femi Fani-Kayode but rather Bola Tinubu that slurs when he speaks. It is not Femi Fani-Kayode but rather Bola Tinubu that has to take 20 pills before he can go out. It is not Femi Fani-Kayode but Bola Tinubu that his hands shake when he tries to lift his fork and knife and eat.

“It is not Femi Fani-Kayode but rather the spokesman of the APC, Lai Mohammed, that is rotting from inside and that has the chronically bad breath of a rabid poll cat. Lai's breath is so bad that it is enough to knock out a polar bear from across the street.”

“It is not Femi Fani-Kayode but rather Lai Mohammed who is suffering from loose bowel movements and who defecates every other minute to the point that he often has to wear pampers when he goes on long journeys.”

5. Getting professional jobs: I think it’s insane that Canada encourages skilled workers to immigrate to Canada to start a new life only to not consider them professional enough to get into the professional workforce. Most people have to start all over from the scratch in their careers, it’s even worse for healthcare professionals (Doctors, Nurses, etc) they spend several years trying to get licensed to practice while managing with ridiculous jobs like support workers, Uber drivers, etc. It’s very sad to leave your home country as a Medical Doctor just to become someone else’s food delivery guy. What about for other professionals? They start off their careers with just anything to pay the bills cos they can’t land their first Canadian job without having Canadian experience!! How do I get Canadian experience if you don’t hire me? Are you saying I don’t have transferable skills after migrating here as a “Skilled-worker”? Some people just get fed up and move to other countries with higher-paying jobs.
Migrants with no Canadian experience are locked out of the job market.
It is a racket that helps ensure the country's economy continues growing.

PoliticsWhat Obasanjo "Said" About PDP's Choice Of Atiku During Tinubu's Visit by Talawaka(op): 12:46pm On Aug 18, 2022
What Obasanjo Allegedly Said about PDP's Choice of Atiku during Tinubu's Visit, Source Reveals

An anonymous source cited by PM News said former President Obasanjo spoke against PDP's choice of another northerner, Atiku, as its presidential candidate

The source said the former president made this known during the closed-door meeting he had with Tinubu, APC presidential candidate, on Wednesday, August 17

Obasanjo allegedly said it will be an injustice to the South if the North retains power after eight years of President Buhari's rule

Abeokuta, Ogun state - A report by PM News states that former President Olusegun Obasanjo questioned the decision of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to pick Atiku Abubakar as its presidential candidate for the 2023 elections. According to the report, Obasanjo felt the decision is not politically correct and is against the spirit of the understanding between the North and the South of Nigeria.

The newspaper, which did not disclose its source, said Obasanjo spoke on Wednesday, August 17, during the visit of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, to his Hilltop home in Abeokuta.

“I am very much aware that it’s the turn of the South to produce the next President of Nigeria. I was part of the meeting when the agreement was made between Northern and Southern Leaders”, Obasanjo was quoted to have said.

“I am even surprised PDP gave her ticket to another North candidate."

Obasanjo was also quoted as saying in the report also filed by Sahara Reporters:“It will be an injustice to the South if the North retains Power after 8 years of rule,” the former president allegedly said, adding that "we will do the right thing when the time comes.

Obasanjo vindicates my position, says Joe Igbokwe
Joe Igbokwe, an APC chieftain in Lagos state, also posted the quotes attributed to Obasanjo during Tinubu's visit on his Facebook page. He said the former president's alleged position vindicates his position on power rotation between the north and the south after the June 12 1993, political crisis.

NuclearWinter:
To your second question, you can gloss through my posts and topics and see how anti Tinubu I am.

For not supporting Obi due to his fake messiah status should not mean I am in any way in support of Tinubu.

To your first question, Zik was a unionist before venturing into politics . Unionism and Unions the world over was heavily infiltrated by pro Soviet elements who embraced Marxism.

Most of the returning Igbo students who studied abroad were heavily indoctrinated in campuses with leftist ideology.

Ojukwu was a card carrying member of the British Communist party and was active in the party's campus branch in Oxford.

Do I need to spell it out how both Cambridge and Oxford were indoctrination and recruiting grounds used by Marxist and communist elements chief of which was Baron Victor Rothschild who spearheaded the Cambridge recruiting operation and was named the 6th man in the Cambridge Spy scandal.

Lest I forget Ifeanjuna who was a flaming Marxist and best pal to that old goat of a Marxist , Wole Soyinka whom he met at UI ?

Jewish Marxism was what was used to hook the naive culturally inferior igbos to do the biddings of Victor Rothschild who became the sole winner after the civil war with his Shell BP owning all the oil wells. The original plan was to have Igbo Marxists unravel the regional assembly in place of a quasi Marxist centrist govt to make it more easier to steal and plunder the oil wealth. But since seizing power and securing it was beyond the naive Igbo brain, the arrangement saw to a northern military arrangement in place of an Igbo military civilian dictatorship.

You just have to read Zik's own words and see him as a flaming Marxist .
All I see here are conjectural musings and nothing more.

Zik, a Marxist? Since when? Go and read Nkrumah's critical appraisal of his one time mentor in 'Conakry years' to understand how much he thought of Zik as anything but what you described.
Why did I think you were unlikely to point out some of the barely-there welfarist programs he touted during the run-up to Nigeria's independence - which you did not mention by the way - as evidence to support your hifalutin claims? grin

I find it rather curious that you anchored your argument on the fact that "Zik was a unionist before venturing into politics" , as though the sum of a man's life is measured by evaluating a particular stage only. Even more, is it not true that a lot of the African leaders who learnt organising skills during the pre-independence era did so in one union or another?
The link between Ifeajuna's Marxist leanings and Zikism is equally far fetched, because we all know precisely how the latter played out in practice in the old Eastern Region.

Ojukwu was a card carrying member of the British Communist party and thereby qualifies as a Marxist too?
The same Ojukwu who drove around campus in a flashy sports car?
Comrade, you can do better than recite spurious claims that do little to deepen our understanding of Nigeria's recent history.

Soyinka condemns body shaming of Tinubu by members of Pyrate Confraternity

August 8, 2022

https://i0.wp.com/www.ripplesnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/wole-soyinka-.jpeg

Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka has condemned the body shaming of the Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu, by some members of the Pyrate Confraternity.

Members of the confraternity, in a viral video, held a rally, in which they impliedly body-shamed and mocked Tinubu.

In the viral video, they sang: “Emi lokan, emi lokan… Baba wey no well, him dey shout Emi lokan… Hand dey shake, leg dey shake, him dey shout Emi lokan…”

Soyinka, who is a founding father of the secret group, has distanced himself from the rally, describing it as “bizarre” and “distasteful”.

He said although, he does not dictate political choices and decisions to the confraternity, “the display acidly targets a presidential candidate in the awaited 2023 elections”, and warned that it would have unpredictable consequences.

“My attention has been drawn to a video clip making internet rounds, of a dancing and chanting group, in red and white costume, purportedly members of the Pyrates Confraternity. The display acidly targets a presidential candidate in the awaited 2023 elections. Since the whole world knows of my connection with that fraternity, it is essential that I state in clear, unambiguous terms, that I am not involved in that public performance, nor in any way associated with the sentiments expressed in the songs.

“Like any other civic group, the Pyrates Confraternity is entitled to its freedom of expression, individually or collectively. So also is Wole Soyinka in his own person. I do not interfere in, nor do I attempt dictate the partisan political choices of the Confraternity.. I remain unaware that the association ever engages in a collective statement of sponsorship or repudiation of any candidate This is clearly a new and bizarre development, fraught with unpredictable consequences,” he said in a statement on Monday.

He said his culture as a Yoruba man does not encourage the mockery of persons with disabilities or vulnerability due to old age.

The statement read further, “In addition, let me make the following cultural affirmation. I have listened to the lyrics of the chant intently and I am frankly appalled. I find it distasteful. I belong to a culture where we do not mock physical afflictions or disabilities. Very much the contrary. The Yoruba religion indeed designate a deity, Obatala, as the divine protector of the afflicted, no matter the nature of such affliction. This sensibility is engrained in us from childhood and remains with us all our lives. It operates on the principle of mortal frailty to which all humanity remains vulnerable.

“One of my favorite authors, about whom, by a coincidence, I had cause to write quite recently, was CLR James, author of The Black Jacobins, Beyond A Boundary etc. etc. I called him my ideological uncle. He suffered from Parkinson’s Disease, but remained alert, lucid and combative for decades after the onset of the disease. We interacted politically at the Tanzanian pan-African Congress, the Dakar Festival of Negro Arts and a number of other cultural and political fora. We met frequently in his lifetime, dined together in restaurants, despite his challenge. it would be unthinkable, and a desecration of his memory to be part of any activity that mocked his affliction.

“A further statement will be issued when I have made further enquiries into this strange, uncharacteristic outing of the association.”

July 15 - Muslim- Muslim ticket: I have no plans to leave APC – Osinbajo (Source: https://businessday.ng/politics/article/muslim-muslim-ticket-i-have-no-plans-to-leave-apc-osinbajo/)

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has denied knowledge of a memo purportedly written by him, indicating his intention to leave the All Progressives Congress (APC).

This is as some top members of the party continue to berate the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, over the choice of a Muslim-Muslim ticket.

The denial followed a memo allegedly written by the office of the vice-president to President Muhammadu Buhari, seeking the president’s “permission to resign from the APC” which has gone viral over social media.

The choice of a Muslim-Muslim ticket, announced last Sunday by the APC presidential flag bearer, for the 2023 presidential election, has fractured the party across the country, with some of its members resigning their membership in protest.

The two paragraphs memo titled “Permission to Resign From APC” was, however, described as the “handiwork of Osinbajo’s enemies” by his media aide, Laolu Akande, on Thursday, when he spoke with BusinessDay, in Abuja.

Akande described the memo as “fake”, adding that “it neither emanated from the Osinbajo directly nor any of his aides.

According to the memo, Osinbajo was said to have claimed that he was under “pressure from family members” to resign from the party.

There's no connection for camera output on it. You just plug it into power after it's connection to the condenser outside, that's its.

A camera is useless if not connected to a monitoring device. The AC doesn't even have room for memory devices, so it can't be used as a spy device.

Tee Mac’s Exposé: OBJ Has Fathered 72 Offsprings

https://www.informationng.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/dog1_500.jpg

Former Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN) President, Omatsola Iseli, popularly called Tee Mac, is a great lover of dogs. What most do not however know is, his dogs are named after famous world leaders and women. Yes, but one dog stands out from the pack for Tee Mac, and that dog is named after Nigeria’s former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.

Tee Mac’s dog collection include Mobutu Sese Seko, the late president of Zaire, George Bush, Balewa, Stella, Nefertiti, Sambo, among others. But why is ‘OBJ’ an Alsatian breed dog, most admired by Tee Mac? The renowned fluitist narrated the feat OBJ had performed in its 11 years of dog age. According to him, the dog had fathered 72 puppies since he began mating and described him as a “super stud.”

“OBJ is a super stud,” he said, adding that the dog had been mating since he was three, which would have been 21 years of human life.

Explaining that the choice of names for his dogs was not borne out of disrespect to anyone, he said it was done to express how dearly he loved his dogs, disclosing that he used to have a dog he named after himself.

“I did not choose the names to insult anyone. My dogs are my best friends and they are all highly intelligent. I had two guard dogs in PMAN. One of them was called Charly Boy and the other , Tee Mac.

“When Dele Abiodun illegally took over the secretariat, they killed and roasted the two dogs and ate them to despise me”, he alleged, adding, “dogs are truly man’s best friends. They love you unconditionally, if you treat them well.”

Why Umahi Deserves To Succeed Buhari, Say NUJ, NAWOJ

https://leadership.ng/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/Umahi-1-750x375.jpg

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) and the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) have said that Governor David Umahi’s infrastructural strides in Ebonyi State should make Nigerians appeal to him to be the president of Nigeria.

The organisations made the submissions in Abakaliki after inspecting various developmental projects of the governor after their Central Working Committes meeting in the state. Comrade Chris Isiguzo, the NUJ national president, said that the plethora of Umahi’s infrastructural strides should make Nigerians approach him to replicate such at the national level.

“What we saw in Ebonyi was mind-boggling and we were further dumfounded because we know that Ebonyi is among the states which receive the least monthly allocation.

“It further shows that the governor is a good manager of lean resources and such a man is whom the nation needs at this critical time.
The NUJ president said that the King David University, Uburu is a world class facility that will solve the ugly trend of medical tourism in the country.

“I know that such monumental edifice would be difficult for a state government to handle so I am happy that it has been taken over by the Federal Government.

“The magnificent Iyere bridge in Afikpo South Local Government Area is also impositing and astonishingly connects the state with Abia and Cross River.

He urged the media to set agenda for the country’s leaders to give their stewardship in office in their aspirations for higher positions.
Mrs Ladi Bala, the NAWOJ National President said that the governor was visibly under-reported because Nigerians would run to him to be president if they are aware of such strides.

“These are endearing projects which touch the people’s lives and such would definitely turn around the country if replicated at the national level.

“We wonder where the governor gets the money to execute these projects and are tempted to think that there is a printing machine in Ebonyi. She urged Nigerians to seek leaders who will be answerable to them and not be swayed by money or other items used in mortgaging their future.

The answer is no!

Why?
Because he has never been to university before to know what it actually means
