Governor Wike may be in fresh trouble as the Police recover N114 million used to bribe INEC Officers during election.

GoldenNewsNg reports that Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state may be in trouble as the Nigerian police force has announced the recovery of over N114 million out of N360 million he allegedly used to bribe electoral officers in the 2016 bye-elections.

According to a report by Politics Nigeria monitored by GoldenNewsNg , Governor Wike reportedly doled out the huge sum to 23 staff members of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as a bribe to sway the election in his favor.

The Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), Joseph Egbonike, disclosed this on Tuesday while appearing before the House of Representatives Ad hoc Committee on assessment and status of all recovered loot, movable and immovable assets from 2002 to 2020.

“There was a governorship rerun in 2016 between Governor Nyesom Wike of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the main opposition at that time, which was the All Progressives Congress (APC), and the sum of N360 million money was offered as bribe to Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials during the 2016 rerun governorship election in Rivers State.”

“The said matter is still in court and I wouldn’t want to speak much on it, but the said amount you are referring to was recovered from 23 officials of INEC during the 2016 rerun elections of the National and State Assembly which was rigged in favour of PDP.”

“Although, the persons involved have been prosecuted and convicted, the matter has been appealed and not dispensed.”

A report released to newsmen after the committee’s sitting shed more light on the matter.

So, I added this girl up through the school telegram group and we started chatting. Let's call her Tomi.

Connected to WhatsApp and Facebook. Lectures were held online at that time so we were only chatting.

Fast forward to the second semester and school resumed physical classes.

I tried meeting up with this girl severally but each time I chat or call her, she will tell me that she's busy. In some cases, she will end the call on me.

Fast forward to Friday last week on June 11, 2021, I went to their female hostel to see another girl. Amina hostel precisely.

I was with the girl in my car when three girls came out of the hostel and I recognized the Tomi among the girls. We have never met in person before but I have seen her pictures a lot on Facebook and WhatsApp status, so it was easy for me to recognize her.

No judgement please.i know I am a scum but please dont add to it. Myself and my wife were friends in school , I had what we call my spec in my heart then and she jsnt it ( she is beautiful please). She is a good wife and mother not perfect cos no one is but she is good.
The issue is I have never found her attractive but then in school fellowship and preaching said looks do not matter, that the true beauty is internal. So I silenced the voice of my spec and married her. Let me say again, she is a good woman and doesn't deserve this.
9 years after marriage with 2 kids, the problem is since 2019 the attraction has got worse. I dont find her attractive at all again , we hardly gist , the way I express love I struggle to . To have sex seff , I have to use enhancers to get erections . I started cheating last year and I dont like it but I am.doing it. I love the girl in question and i know its unfair to my wife.

Recently i got an interview in one of the leading IT Company. It is CMMI level company so i thought to try. I gave written test and technical round of interview, then again technical round with manager and he put me on hold.
After i asked the reason to HR, she told me manager put you on hold. Again after 3 months i got a call that now you have to give final round of interview.
I went there for another technical round and got selected. This time my appraisal is due in current company which is on next month so i can’t accept first offer which is 15% raise.
I have 50k salary so it’s obvious I will get 15% in current company so i asked for 30% raise and she offered me 54k on hand. My current on hand is around 45k so i told her that i won’t join at these much less and if she wants to renegotiate, i am open for that. She after offered me 55k. I was like shocked that is this called negotiation. She is asking me for 1k more. Am i at grocery store or what? I said no.
She said she is chasing me from few days to convince me but now she won’t. So i said, if your offer is convincing, no need to chase anyone. What does it make sense to give someone 1k more? She said, if you want to join at the offer, call me or reply me.
I never replied and called.

I remember payqart recruiter interviewing me, he said they can only pay 350k, I told him 500k for the role I am applying for. I am making 250k working part time as a consultant, tell me why I will want to be coming to work everyday sitting in Lagos traffic, and also investing in clothing for just 100k. He said they will get back at me, which they never did.
