folake4u:I am. |
makemoneywbsite:Bad Structure |
I experienced something like this in the village during my secondary school days. There was this land that nobody was farming on; it was just there, and it was big. I inquired and was told that the owners no longer lived close by. I found them and told them that I wanted to use it, and they agreed. So, I started clearing, cutting, and burning. I began farming before the first rain came (Yam farmers can relate). I also hired laborers, and we worked tirelessly there. The ground was so fertile that no fertilizer was needed, and the harvest was the talk of the town. I harvested the yams and spent all evenings tying them on stakes in the barn. Then, I woke up one morning, and the whole thing was burnt down overnight. A woman informed me in the morning, she was in tears. I went there, saw it, and then returned home to get ready for school. I came back very late in the evening, and my mom gave me a bundle of cash. From what? Well, people who saw how hard I worked decided to eat yam that day whether it was on the menu or not. Everybody was just buying. Word spread to the next village, and they came to buy; they bought everything. I never knew I was that loved. |
Water is life |
aswani:And Tinubu achieved so much in Lagos that he lost woefully to a loser from Anambra. |
EreluRoz:I am not interested in what Nigeria needs. I just want you to admit that you had a better choice in the last election. Nigeria can hang for all I care. |
Judgementa1:Your observation is incorrect. Why buy local when the price difference is barely noticeable? For instance, when a mudu of local rice was N500, the foreign one was N550 to N600 at most. So why buy local? Imported tomatoes were cheaper than Dangote's locally made ones. Why? That is the question people need to ask. If the government puts the right policies in place, stops multi-taxing producers, provides electricity, and other necessary resources, once there is ease of doing business, the local products will be too cheap to ignore. People who will patronize Innoson are those who can afford new cars, which is like less than 5% of Nigerians. If the price difference between the local and foreign is not significant, we will opt for foreign. But if it is too attractive to ignore, then we will have no option but to opt for local. We know why the local products are too expensive. EreluRoz I believe you can learn a few things about Obi here. |
Eunoiaa:She legit set herself up for dragging by creating the thread. If she genuinely does not want to be tagged on posts then I wish they could stop, not like tagging her will change anything. she hasn't repented neither is she sorry. But if nah attention she dey find then lucky her. |
EreluRoz:You and I know that such prayers do not work so I will waste not my time on it. God cannot do for a man what he has already empowered him to do, know this and you will work more and pray less. Catholics have been praying for Nigerians in distress since before my father was born yet no levels. They will get tired of tagging you and give up if you ignore them and stop trying to justify supporting Tinubu. |
EreluRoz:If I had the power, I would easily grant you that wish. I don't know you well enough to hate or like you, so there's no bad blood. The truth, however is that if Tinubu was doing fine, you would be the one opening threads and disturbing us. But still, I wish they could stop. We all deserve whatever peace we can get in this messed up nation |
EreluRoz:Obi is way ahead of Tinubu. I challenge you again, as I did back then. Pick a thread of your choice. Let's list and compare their achievements in office, taking into account the condition of their respective States when they started and when they left. If you win in the end, I will open a thread to apologize. But if I win, you will do the same. |
overall90:Imagine voting for someone in 2023 based on their performance 24 years ago. It's not like he was in his 40s then. There's a reason footballers are compared in their prime, and there's a reason people retire. If you interview Pete Edochie today, you might start losing respect for him after watching the interview simply because he has aged and will sound and act differently. Simply put, he is no longer the man you knew. Obi was there, granting interviews, citing examples of his achievements as a governor, and urging people to verify them. But since you can't find any fault in him, you decided to hate him because of his supporters, as if it was his supporters who would run the nation. The only time the other one granted interview abroad, he was just pointing people to answer the questions. Tinubu was voted in for the silliest reasons. He built Lagos, a former capital. He has the master plan. He brought others who performed. He is Yoruba. He is Muslim. He helped my father. None of these reasons are based on his ability to bring change or at least steer us in the right direction |
EreluRoz:We warned you that things would go this way but you refused to listen. Now the entire nation is in pain. So, why are you surprised that people are blaming you for bringing untold hardship upon them? Personally, I won't go around tagging you or anyone to any post, but I won't fault people who do. I remember telling you that you would regret your choice within one year but you swore that you wouldn't. That's why I'm even replying to you today. Despite all the glaring evidence that the person you voted for is a failure, you still seek flimsy and illogical excuses to justify your thoughtlessness. Now, tell me, what exactly did Tinubu say during the campaign that made you vote for him? Bulaba? Town hall? What exactly? And stop angering us further by saying that nobody could have performed better than Tinubu; it doesn't make any sense. Own up to your mistake, admit that you messed up, and stop defending Tinubu. People will stop tagging you in posts. The more you try to justify the mistake you made during the election, the more people will tag you in posts to show you how messed up your choice was. It's common sense. |
Congratulations... E no easy to get a val. May una love grow stronger every day. Next time you are eating, try to get a separate plate for your water or just carry it in your hand. Or better still, pour it into a cup. As clean as the environment may be, keeping water on the bare floor is not okay |
folake4u: ![]() See pettiness. Don't worry, nobody will hit anyone |
folake4u:Reason I laughed is because if you hit me, nah you hand go still pain. |
So, what will they be charged with? Having sex when not fully unclothed? Having sex when the nation is mourning Access CEO and AFCON loss? Having sex without local government permit? Or what? |
NIanalyst:So why didn't you ask him how he came to that conclusion before calling it stupid? |
NIanalyst:And yet you called him stupid? |
Don't stay where you are not wanted. |
In Nigeria, there are more good ladies than bad ones, with about 65% being good. However, the bad ones often make more noise, and our minds tend to focus on the negative, making it seem like good girls are disappearing |
That is your punishment for forgiving her after her she cheated. If you forgive a woman for infidelity, particularly when she did not anticipate such leniency, she is likely to punish you for it. |
Strafudeen:On this I totally agree |
A woman is an adult and reasons like one. She can run chains of businesses, head institutions, run a family, govern a state, put up with our garbages, and even date six of you and still make each of you feel special and convinced that you are the only one. If you know what it takes to do that, then you will give them some respect. The real problem is that men thought that women are incapable of logical thinking. Women, being smart, capitalized on that and started doing things the way they do. Since men have convinced themselves that women act like kids, why not just act like one? Win-win for them: they get to do what they like, and you can't even blame them since it is a woman's nature. There is no such thing as a woman's nature; we men created it. Women find it suiting and well, keyed in. Consider all the laws around the world that are anti-men — who made them? Men. So no, the problem is not women; we are. As a man lays his bed, so shall his woman lie on it. If you want to be manipulable, women will finish you. If they can't manipulate you, many will leave, but you will enjoy whoever stays. Learn to hold women accountable |
tuzle:Let's say you bought a car, then it got stolen, and you luckily see someone using it. You confront the person, and in their defense, they claim they bought it from someone else. You still have all your papers intact. Will you have them arrested, or will you wait until they provide the person that sold it to them? One thing I learned from this thread is that there are a lot of thieves on nairaland. |
folake4u:LMAO ![]() |
GloriousGbola: ![]() Why do I have this feeling that the lash in your post and the one in mine aint the same? |
folake4u:AMEN Okonkwo level of redpill actually. Out on a date and you talk with food in your mouth, one lash. Eat fish or meat before I have my fill. One lash. Your hand come kuku do mistake come my plate because you wan cut small meat as women do, 5 lashes. If you finish eating before me, one lash plus the bill is on you. ![]() |
