Hahahaahaha! You go start to drink am from tap. That one sef no bad if the tank is clean.

They don't care. Stop acting like it started last year cheesy. They have been on it and their generations are not even suffering for any misdeed. Na we still dey suffer.
The problem is not the tank but the water itself. Sometimes it pumps hard water and I am not sure that is safe for drinking.

Get by? Are you sure?
Right now I just want to see how much longer we can hold on. If Nigerians swallow the suffering without a revolt, then I will know we are a strong people.

By the way, is satchet water actually more economical for a water drinker like you?

@Folake4u, a carton of Caprisun is N4200. Something parents use to give their kids joy is becoming luxury.
Strong and foolish.

We are too docile abeg.

Y'know, I do wonder how the people who got us into this mess feel, knowing that they are directly responsible for what millions of people are going through.

Starting from the INEC man down to all the agents who collected peanuts to rig their units.

And then I wonder if they will be wiser before the next election because if things do not get better and this man wins again, then there will be trouble.

Do I even know which is more economical now? I might soon join the drink and refill crew.

I have many Ragolis bottles here sef.

I bought at 300 last week and they've increased to 350 now. I heard they're planning to increase the price again.

My state sells for 400 currently.

It's really crazy right now. Spending so much money on supposed basic things.
Nigeria will get by regardless.

That, in itself is both good news and bad news.

Because people would rather adapt than kick against the system.

Households now cook with charcoal since gas prices are high.

Borehole and well water are what many drink.

Some now have their breakfast around 12 so they won't eat thrice a day.

I am not sure how far we can cope.

Because crime is going to increase.

Whatever you are earning may not be enough.

In the market yesterday, there were people standing by waiting for a grain of rice, beans, etc., to drop while sellers measured them.

As I said, I am not sure how much longer we can hold

This lgb0 ideology of "you cañ't tell people where to sell their products", "you can't tell people what price to sell their products" is a major player in economic faiIures in Nigerîà.
U can go to SE, buy something for #10, go to north where Hausa-Fulani is dominating and buy same item for #6.
But u will all come back to bIame government for soaring prices but u don't want price and quality control.
So if everyone decides to move their grains to neighboring countries because "you cañ't tell people where go sell their products" how do u think u will survive?
Transport the same item down to east, pay for produce at all their check points, pay soldiers at all their check points, pay for transportation and sell it N6 let's see if you can afford tfare back to north again.

The price of bottled water will increase certainly.
Still 300 here and drink two bag every three days.

That is if I don't have bottled ones at home, now imagine how much I will be spending on water alone if they double the price.

Abi na. Nothing them go write wey we never read before. In Nigeria, women are doing strong things already. What holds them back here is lack of finance and stigma. It is not even about love to me. Because you may not love a man/woman, but be determined to make it work. You can love, but not have the determination to make a marriage work. The concept of love is new, as many of our parents never knew themselves for long before marrying. So all this love talk doesn't move me except when backed by excellent family values.
Determination to make it work is the key Nne. Once you make that decision and follow it up with efforts, you are good.

DaddyRochie1642:
The pastor has every right to deny the pregnancy, the pastor knows fully well that he is not the only person that she is sleeping with.
The pastor shouldn't have been sleeping with her in the first place. Getting her pregnant is crazy, and the way he handled it is highly irresponsible.

As a Reverend, Evangelist, or whatever position you hold in the church, there are certain things you shouldn't be caught doing, and this is one of them.

I remember a guy I used to evangelize with who was dating a lady. I warned him to be careful about what they do with their "privates" because one mistake could ruin his reputation and future. He brushed off my concerns, saying his flesh was not weak.

Fast forward a couple of months, and the guy suddenly announced a date for their introduction and traditional marriage. I was taken aback and asked him how he could be getting married in 21 days and I am just hearing about it.

He simply said I wouldn't understand. oh yea, I don't understand shit and that is the problem.

Next, the date is shifted to two weeks. Bros come dey lean like person wey no dey chop.

Nah then I come understand wetin happen, he don give the girl belle.
PoliticsRe: Exchange Rate: NERC To Increase Price Of Prepaid Meters by Tallesty1(m): 3:13pm On Feb 18, 2024
alsudan:
Prepaid meters are currently sold for 100-120k, but Nerc still wants to increase the price.

Last week it was the Minister of Power complaining how the Federal Government can no longer fund electricity subsidy.

What this means is that Nigerians should prepare to buy prepaid meters for at least 300k and be ready to pay at least 300 naira per unit.

If you buy 1k electricity, it will serve you for one day on the average and if you're unfortunate to still be among the consumers on estimated billing, then OYO is your name.

Nigerians should brace up, the Great TINUBULATION has just started and it will continue hitting from all angles.
When I was little, only rich families could afford rice, and it was eaten only on Sundays or important/special days. Beans was hot cake. It looks to me like we are headed to that place again.

Coincidentally, Nigeria is recovering from Buhari's misrule back then and now.

David pleaded with God for the child. He fasted and went into his house and spent the nights lying on the ground.

The elders of his household stood beside him to get him up from the ground, but he refused, and he would not eat any food with them.

On the seventh day the child died. David's servants were afraid to tell him that the child was dead, for they thought, "While the child was still living, we spoke to David but he would not listen to us. How can we tell him the child is dead? He may do something desperate."

David noticed that his servants were whispering among themselves and he realized the child was dead. "Is the child dead?" he asked. "Yes," they replied, "he is dead."

Then David got up from the ground. After he had washed, put on lotions and changed his clothes, he went into the house of the LORD and worshiped. Then he went to his own house, and at his request they served him food, and he ate.

His servants asked him, "Why are you acting this way? While the child was alive, you fasted and wept, but now that the child is dead, you get up and eat!"

He answered, "While the child was still alive, I fasted and wept. I thought, `Who knows? The LORD may be gracious to me and let the child live.'

But now that he is dead, why should I fast?
Can I bring him back again? I will go to him, but he will not return to me.

I know right.

I don't even like people touching me except if we're that CLOSE.
As it should be but people are wired differently.

There's this one Alhaji that I sometimes hang out with. Once we were out with his friends and they all had dates except for me and one other person. The guy at the bar arranged one for him and my friend said, 'And one for this one too,' referring to me. My dear, I didn't know when I said, 'Just like that?'

He still dey use am laugh me.

It shouldn't be time in a relationship, it can happen anywhere, anytime as the body leads. In fact, the more spontaneous, the better. But jumping on whoever is available is animalistic, and paying to get it kills the vibe.

No matter how you see it, it still relates with dating a responsible lady.

You can't have sex with a lady, for free,or date a lady for free, you will still have to pay some how. It's either you take her out for groceries, or manicure , or you assist her with money. Or with a loan, you must do something.

A hooker on the other hand, isn't asking for these privileges, all she needs is an instant cash.
There is more to sex than thrusting and cuming. For me, there's got to be emotional connection first and then there are others. Also pre-intimacy is important as the sex itself and then the after sex cuddling. See, point being made is that I can't have sex with a random woman, it isn't about the money.

For those of us that knows asiwaju very well, you all can agree how excellent he is with governance but today strange things are happening and the country is sinking and he seems clueless.

Do not underestimate the evil of the opposition, he's trying to see what can be done but a certain politician is going about sharing money and doing other propaganda to score a cheap political point. If you know the evil world and the extent humans can go to see others fail then you'll understand where I'm coming from.
