Politics › Re: Yorubas & Igbos Don't Hate each other by Tallesty1(m): 6:17am On Mar 19, 2023 |
MrBiGGEST: Hey everyone, I wanted to take a moment to address a topic that has been on my mind lately. I know there have been some negative stereotypes about the relationship between Yorubas and Igbos, and I want to make it clear that these stereotypes are not true.
As a Yoruba person, I have had the privilege of knowing and working with many Igbos over the years, and I can say with certainty that we do not hate each other. In fact, I have learned so much from my interactions with my Igbo brothers and sisters, and I value their contributions to our society.
I understand that there may be misunderstandings and biases on both sides, but I believe that by learning from each other and respecting our differences, we can build a stronger and more united Nigeria.
So let's take a moment to appreciate the diversity of our country, and work towards creating a more inclusive and tolerant society. Let's celebrate our differences, and embrace the things that make us unique.
Thank you for reading, and I hope we can all continue to learn from each other and grow together.
However, I'm Yoruba, it's my interest to protect my heritage from lies and propaganda. Infact the main reason why some yorubas didn't vote GRV,is not because his mother is igbo or because is wife is Igbo, it's because of the hate comments he made, while sympathising with the IPOB Group & Don't believe he's competent enough.
Most Yòruba's see him as an agendist and an opportunist. Even I myself ( and we could be wrong). But it's what's.
That's all , every other issue is politics. Oga this thing is not new. Why did the Oba of Lagos threaten to drown Igbos? was it also because of GRV? |
Politics › Re: Message To Igbo People In Lagos. by Tallesty1(m): 6:04am On Mar 19, 2023 |
tamdun: APC did not start anything gbadebo Rhodes past twitter posts is there for all to see Jimi Agbaje was called Jim Chukwu. Oba did not threaten to drown Igbos because of GRV so don't make this madness about LP or GRV. Even in the coming years, whoever stands up to APC in Lagos will be bullied and Y'all will find a way to rope Igbo ancestry on him, a tribe you love to hate. |

azpekuliar: The Igbos - an endangered species in Nigeria. No, they are not. It might seem so politically but they are not endangered. See bah, with the way things are going, a time will come when Nigerians will be begging an Igbo man to become the president. See the turn out in the last election just because of Obi. The time is almost here. |

The only other team that pose threat to them is Real Madrid but Madrid always blow hot and cold sometimes. If they like let them win both the players and the fans, I am tipping Naps to lift the trophy and yes, it is because of Osimhen |

It would be an Italian affair between Ac Milan and Napoli.
Napoli will scale through.
High flying Cityzens will edge out Bayern Munich.
Inter Milan will end Benfica's UCL ambition. Benfica will stop Inter if they do not improve their current form. Portuguese teams are stubborn |

There is no way he would call you greed if you rejected the money. He called you greedy because you took his money and still denied him access to his kids.

We are back to square one. From frying pan to fire. The only saving grace we will have is if Obi wins Tinubu in the court. Anything aside that, we are in a soup including the mo.ronic urchins. The killers went on a short break before the election because they weren't sure of who would win but now that their people are retaining power, they are back again. |

Killbillz: Am I the only who finds this very funny and Tallesty1 did U send the 5k? 😂 It is not funny bro.
The whole thing is like a planned scam through emotional blackmail. First you will not want to send because you know that you are being tricked but then you will remember how helpful that little assistance from him was to you and next minute you are having conscience crisis.
I called him and we talked. He told a story, possibly a lie but I did send the money to him in the end.
More for my own peace of mind. |

Make una dey calm down. This initial ovasabi no dey help. If you guys don't want him, vote him out. Since this Lagos thing, the level of tribalism planted in you folks from your elite classes have consumed y'all totally...more like y'all were waiting until now to cast this fury.
Nigeria is a mess already and the least you should contribute to is tribalism...you only help politicians.
Truly, the Igbos, Yorubas, and Hausas/Fulani are the most tribalistic tribes in Nigeria.
I wonder what other minor groups would do if these trio are claiming they are superior to the other.
Funnily enough, I have people living with me from the three major tribes and they aren't tribalistic because they choose to be apolitical to tribal politics. E come bi like they are the only reasonable people in Nigeria. I am an Igbo person and I have spent some time in at least 16 states in Nigeria and can tell you categorically that Hausa/Fulani are not tribalistic. Their problem is their religion, and it is the same globally. Hausa people no send where you are from or who you are as long as you don't mess with their faith. |

IyaebeTheGreat: He only worked for his party and we all believed in Buhari before 2015, it’s not entirely his fault. Majority of Nigerians voted for Buhari but unfortunately he failed to deliver. You believed in Buhari because someone made it possible. He already contested few times and failed and you all didn't believe in him then. Buhari too had given up, he said that God doesn't want him to be president. Tinubu needed his popularity to unseat Jonathan, that was how the party was birthed in the first place. Tinubu brought Buhari. |
