My husband?

I'm not gay, you idiot!

And for your information, there's a U.N moratorium against the death penalty.

Sane countries send such reprobates to life imprisonment.
Can you please name the "sane countries" ?? Last I checked, capital punishment is still legal in the US which is a UN country. Stop letting your emotions cloud your judgement. If you check, there a more countries that you can ever imagine that carry out low key executions including Nigeria. Why this one is attracting much attention is because it was done publicly, which I personally see nothing wrong in it. If perpetrators of evil knew what awaited them, there will be a drastic drop in crime rate especially in a country like Nigeria. There was a time I think in Brazil (not sure) where an armed robber once caught was summarily executed. No court case, no prison sentence, no detention, just quick justice.

How are these two events even related!?

I swear the British should just come back and colonise Nigeria. No development just wickedness is what we have to offer.
I never said they were related neither did I commend the act. You are quoting me out of context. All I'm saying is that, you cannot rule out the possibility of him being innocent when those in his age grade now murder kids. It's the same wickedness you are talking about that I'm referring to also.

You are one of the problems we have in Nigeria
Personally i don't support individuals taking laws into their hands. But with the recent happenings in the country, I don't think there's anything wrong with that question. It's his mate that perpetuated the act below.

I'm not doubting the stabbing but I'm doubting the story.
Exactly! The stabbing might be true but the story doesn't add up. She escaped through a moving car's window, how exactly? Besides, will the kidnappers be that careless to leave the windows open, thereby risking the possibility of her screaming and attracting attention?

When this guy's corpse appeared here the first time, everyone that saw it knew he was an innocent man! Someone even opened a thread to explain that he never looked like an unknown gunman! Hundreds have been killed like this. Raw executions by those who want to rule by force and by spilling blood...
Same here, I knew instantly something was off from his outfit. But what the international community/groups is concerned with is Twitter Ban.

Politics › Re: Twitter Ban: ECOWAS Court Serves Buhari Hearing Notice! by Tapout(m): 9:54am On Jun 15, 2021
Born2conquer:
Twitter is suddenly a greater issue than Insecurity, unemployment and police brutality.

People won’t care until their money source gets affected! Lol!

If we could allow Ecowas to serve Buhari for twitter suspension, why can’t we do the same for the numerous insecurity facing Nigeria ranging from bokoharam and banditry in the north? To herdsmen issues in the south?

What about the issues of police brutality and economy dilapidation? Dollar to naira was 360 last year but it is presently dingling around 512 today!

WHY IS TWITTER BANNING CURRENTLY EVERYBODY HEADACHE? Twitter is a private organization and i believe Twitter should be the one negotiating or doing the sueing if they feel they’re unjust!

I even feel the banning should have spurred a NIGERIA Or seun Osewa to have reposition Nairaland to Twitter position in Nigeria, the power twitter is wielding is too much and I believe a tech guy can harness that to develop a competition for the Nigeria market, apart from Nairaland, what else do we have?
Finally, someone who shares my view. The country
faces more pressing issues daily, 90% of those issues results in massive loss of lives across the country. If the ban should be reversed, it should be Buhari's decision and not from any bloody greedy group or organization. All international/local bodies/groups can go to Hell as far as this Twitter saga is concerned.

Pets › Re: Help! My Dog Doesn't Know Where To Urinate. by Tapout(m): 9:28pm On Jun 13, 2021
Cutezt:
So I have this 9 weeks old eskimo dog, she is lovely and a beauty to behold. I love her so much and play a lot with her, but my only problem is that she doesn't know where to urinate. She urinates on my tiles which gets me annoyed a lot of times, I have watched dog potty training videos and tried all the tips but with very little success. I have a potty for her kept in the toilet but she prefers to urinate on my room tiles.

I have tried to keep the potty where she loves to go urinate but everytime, she shuns it and still urinate on the tiles, and at one point, I beat her and put her in the bathroom so she can see that when she urinated there, I won't beat her and will reward her, but this dog held the urine for over 10 hours and immediately I opened the bathroom door, she rushed out to the room and urinated on the tiles.

I don't know what to do again, please house, help me, she seems to be confusing the room for the rest room and the rest room for the room.
Most likely her urine odour is what is driving her back to the tiles/spot. Next time she urinates on the tiles, try and scoop the urine, as much as you can and decorate cheesy where you want her to start urinating.
Then clean and if possible disinfect the current spot and area where she urinates hence removing any trace of urine (aim is so that she can no longer pick the scent) Then take her to the area you have decorated cheesy with her unrine and observe her, let her spend enough time there. If done properly, this should solve the issue. Also make sure the new spot is somewhere she can easily access.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Can A 9am To 5pm Job Make Someone Become Wealthy In Nigeria Without Runs? by Tapout(m):
Anytime I see this question and read replies, I always shake my head because I'll remember how a man (our neighbor now) working with one of the oil companies in the country bought the house opposite our family house in ph, demolished it and built a massive duplex under 4 months in Buhari's regime. A friend of mine who is an architect even said he spent too much time building it based on his experience dealing with his counterparts. It's only those that are not exposed that will keep asking this question. I'm not saying starting a business is not a good idea, but 8/9 - 5 jobs differ abeg!! Make una no come discourage those wey dey find ExxonMobil offer letter abeg. Even some tech companies now sef pay well with the option of working remotely (this is why I feel Covid19 did tech companies a huge favour)

Lol. Same thing I was telling a girl at my office yesterday. She was boasting to me about one guy who was asking her for her number. 'Make he come collect nau', who wan give am before?? cheesy lol.. I shook my head because she's just 21.. Na her time... I told her specifically 'babe continue but you'll remember my words that guys no get time again.'
