i dont mean to derail the thread, but for all those graduates who are still unemployed, i will advice you to learn "handwork" in civil engeneering e.g painting, tiling, POP, while you are still searching because if you ever decide to move abroad someday , there is already jobs wating for you. and this jobs pay very well.this is something i wish someone had told me long ago.

the Nigerian problem is a problem that was created over a long period of time and solving it is something that will take time. trust me, even if every Nigerian is ready to die, it still wont solve the problem. if violence should break out in nigeria, i can assure you in the end we will be worse than somalia.all we can do is to find a way of making people in position of authority more accountable and thats something that will take time, considering the fact that corruption has eaten deep into the blood stream of EVERY NIGERIAN. the average nigerian youth is no better than the corrupt elders leading us.

you can force a camel to the river but you cant force it to drink.force them to go to school and you will have university graduates that cant spell their names.western education is several times more advanced and more useful than islamic or any orther form of  education and unless the northerner themselves accept western education as the primary form of education, and islamic as secondary, there is really not much the government can do for them.
