Christianity Etc › Please, Explain These Bible Verses by tctrills(op): 11:49am On Jul 03, 2022
Please, how do you understand Matthew 10.14-15 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
Are Christians to place a curse on the unbelievers?
What happens to those who receive such curse?
What happens if you don't shake up the dust of your feet?

Work on your candidate to shun nepotism and tribalism. Let him be a bridge builder, a nationalist, a big brother, a detribalised man etc

That's the beauty of democracy, You are allowed to claim victimhood. I am not sure you can mention one act of tribalism from Peter Obi. For Nigeria's sake, let's hope the best man wins.

I will say this once. No baga, no demonstration, no propaganda can ever make any sensible Nigerian to vote for your PO when all you his supporters ever do is curse others who don’t support him. Nobi by force and that is why it is called a democracy.

PO is NOT any savior. He might have a lil conscience more than the others but he is most definitely NOT any saint and he definitely has his own plans too for this country, and I mean some negative shittts.

So there won’t be any tsunami anywhere dude.. and last last, una go see say the same PO will soon start pumping all his own loots out too, just to meet up with d election and make it a success for him.

A Catholic Priest, Fr. Evaristus Bassey, has shared photos of ''Virgin Mary'' that appeared at the St. Charles Lwanga in Calabar, Cross Rivers state.

Fr Evaristus Shared Photos of The ''Virgin Mary'' As Sighted By And He Said many people including non-Catholics 'saw her image.'

''On Wednesday 22-6-2022 the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared in one of our parishes in Calabar, St. Charles Lwanga. It was something more than 100 people witnessed, even a Protestant pastor who came to visit his cousin, the assistant priest.

He took these pictures. The rays around her were too bright for a clear picture. She moved up to the Shrine dedicated to her and then was taken up. It was amazing, the entire aura around the parish, that evening. She didn’t say anything to anyone. But I think she came to assure of God’s presence with us.

Even the rays of light on the premises showed there was something happening. May the prayers of our Blessed Mother help our country Nigeria. Amen.''

https://twitter.com/FrEvaristus/status/1542591213991350272?t=O_Vck8qm5wjorCnGDxFFMA&s=19[/quote]Why is her picture not clear. Something is very wrong somewhere.

DamnnNiggarr:
My Bossom childhood friend was financially down and needed financial assistance because his landlord was suffocating him with his constant nagging. So he contacted me as his old guy and and told me the situation on ground and requested for financial assistance from me. I didn't hesitate in sending him the money which he summed up with the one he had and cleared his house rent.

So, this afternoon, his wife texted me, and in her text, she thanked me for the assistance and requested to pay me a visit and and help me with some of my chores since my wife is in Bayelsa. From the very moment I set my eyes on that text, I haven't been myself knowing fully well that one thing may lead to another during her visit/stay.

That my guy is so dear to me and we treat each other with utmost respect so for this reason, I wouldn't like to loose that respect and trust. This woman is anticipating my response, according to her.

Please house, how do I discourage her from visiting me in my wife's absence without it looking as if I'm avoiding her? What does she want? Who has been in this type of situation and how did you resolve the issue without creating enmity?
Its very wrong of her. Flee from such women.

I doubt if anyone would try to dissuade Obi. Everyone knows he is just a test run. Even LP cannot deny this; they know quite well.
A noble man would apologize when he has to. Now his supporters know that they are not to denigrate any religion. This is the mark of a great leader.

Of course, it came from overzealous supporters. But again, that is one downside of a politician having organic but mobbish support. They are driven by so much emotion and excitement to contribute to overthrow the status quo they considered stale. There will be more of this statement to come when real campaign starts because many will go overboard.
Honest mistakes can be forgiven. But this is how elections should be. Let those that believe in your course volunteer to spread the word. Let them make their mistakes and apologize for them. But in all, we see the good intentions.

Politics › Re: Gas Price Wahala!!! by tctrills: 1:08pm On Jun 29, 2022
FreeStuffsNG:
You are being alarmist and not putting your education to good use with this lamentation.

In the first place, gas cost has risen astronomically globally since Russia-Ukraine war started. Read up on why it is so.

On your unnecessary dramatics about food, parents still feed their children as no sensible responsible parent will let his or her children go without food because of high gas prices.

For as long as this war continues, gas price will remain high and that is why even Europe has started telling their citizens to cut down on gas usage and switch to alternatives, even EU itself has switched to other energy sources like coal.

If wealthy EU countries can switch to alternatives, that should teach you how to be sensible with your finances too when prices of any commodity is going sky high because of artificial reasons. That is called demand destruction to force price down.

In Nigeria, we can switch to kerosene, coal etc to reduce demand for gas so that those who want to further profiteer from the scarcity can reduce their price.

Sensible parents have since bought stoves and coal pots for now like Europeans in order to wait out this war period and will get back to gas when the price falls.
This is the way out not just lamenting and forming a lamentation group.

Gas itself , due to the deleterious effect of its combustion CO2 emision on our climate, will one day be phased out once we perfect the renewables.

N:B To those 'entitled' ones screaming we have gas in Nigeria, let me remind you that between the gas underground and your kitchen is a lot of billions of USD investments you do not have o and those who made the investment from their hard-earned money can not keep subsidizing your gas consumption endlessly especially when they have willing buyers and international contracts that pay more for this gas in the scarce forex our country currently needs.

Banking on gas subsidy after you enjoy petrol and electricity subsidies that our folks in the villages do not enjoy is an unjust ungodly welfare system you use to kill those poor villagers who are not enjoying your privileges of electricity, petrol subsidies and now gas subsidy but picking your bills , environmental and social costs while you feed fat on resources govt could use to give them basic amenities like pipeborne water; clinics, security, schools, standalone solar generators etc.
Their blood is on your hands if you want to extend your subsidy appetite now to advocating for gas subsidy at their expense.

FG must never subsidize gas. Get creative and responsible. Kill this lazy youth with entitlement mentality of yours.

Meanwhile, here's free book on business ideas & money sources directory for you,it's 100% free! to download, read and use https://www.nairaland.com/6666800/looking-business-ideas-money-fund. Cheers.
God bless Nigeria for ever.
You are the one in need of an education. Nigeria is the 10th biggest Natural gas exporter yet cooking gas is cheaper in Ghana, Ivory coast and almost every other country in west Africa.
People like you who sell the government's talking points are our biggest problems.
Why should Nigeria switch to kerosene when we have abundance of gas. Do you think kerosene is cheap? Clearly, you don't know kerosene is also gotten from crude oil which has also increased in price

HE Obi is building castles in the air by wasting his time and children's inheritance.
He had a better chance with PDP than labouring in vain with Labour Party.
Only one person will win this election. It does not mean that the others are stupid for trying. Every strong democracy relies on a strong opposition. Unlike other systems of government, democracy is deepened when the opposition is greatest.
Peter Obi would likely not win but he is making history and strengthening our democracy. He is giving you and me a choice outside PDP and APC.
