Your English alone is good enough to "shot" somebody. Ode Ezedon: |

Nelsizzy:Is there anything to be filled in the letter sent? |
1st of November OguguaVictor: |
Please, for those who have seen the letter. Is there any form to be filled in it? I just received a message today to open a Union bank account and I didn't even know I had been awarded. |
Amefrica:Cheers |
Amefrica: Write SAT, it's just 14-15K and English test will be waived for you..Hey pal, you don't seem to encourage ACT. Any reasons? I want to write that instead cause its in April (SAT after January is May, no?) and it seems equally viable. |
shymexx: Yes, brother. For the first time in my life, I actually feel sorry for a Nigerian politician. |
eGuerrilla: To be honest with you, I'd have not qualms putting down good money to counter the emboldened statement in your post. But to think he knew? Then the joke isn't really on him, is it? Its on PDP, APC, everyone who voted for him. In short, the joke is on every single Nigerian! Is this the best we can do? The highest position in a land of 160 million people is occupied by.....him? |
shymexx: The whole thing is starting to get interesting. However, I don't believe GEJ would be so dumb to play a joker as simplistic as this. I believe some of the sycophants around him are responsible for this and the other fictitious jejune tales you cited. Then again, he doesn't look/act like the sharpest tool in the shed - so I can't really absolve him off this. Its like you're in my mind! Check my previous reply to you. He just can't be so daft! |
eGuerrilla: Anything is possible.Come on sir, you literally have me weeping for this country. He can't have done that, maybe those associated to him, but that he knew, and sanctioned it? I give up! Check my previous reply to @Shymexx, you'd see why I doubt he 'sanctioned' it. |
homesteady: It's only a silly person that will believe that she did not write that letter! There are too much personal/family stuffs in that letter that an outsider will not know! The personal stuff her mother had written in a book about three years ago? Yeah, very personal.... https://www.nairaland.com/208762/bitter-sweet-life-obasanjo-mohammed-settled |
theoctopus: AIT didnt publish the story. Vanguard and Sahara did. until they retract it, nothing changes.I think its safe to say Sahara merely culled it from Vanguard, no? I equally doubt mr President had a hand in it, like I stated on the other thread. tdade: On a serious note, inasmuch as I criticize |
theoctopus: Vanguard insists the letter is real. There is no denial on any rainbow FM! Nothing has changed so far!AIT claim to have contacted Iyabo, and she apparently denied writing the letter. |
shymexx: I knew she didn't write the letter. Discerning minds should be able to see that.On a serious note, inasmuch as I criticize Jonathan for his lethargic nature, and lackluster demeanor, I really can't think anyone who mounts the position he currently occupies, either by luck or intelligence, can be this daft! Having said that, the fact that vanguard went ahead to publish it, knowing fully well the consequence should it be false, somehow gives credence to the fact that it was from 'above.' |
shymexx: Thank God another discerning mind noticed it as well.My thoughts exactly! An Ivy for that matter! The most disgusting thing about this thread is that people don't even realize that she equally gave up the 'Nigerian dream.' I'm frankly not concerned about what she had to say about her father, but the things she pointed out about this country..... |
Amefrica: You only get to pay during registration.. You don't pay before arriving in US.wow, I didn't know that, thanks! |
Amefrica: I don't think it's refundable. It's either she used a semester in the university (paid for it) or she transferred straight to the CC as soon as she got there.that's my point! She would've been required to pay for a year's(or is it a semester?) tuition prior to her arrival to the university, no? So even if she transfers immediately, she still loses the money. |
Amefrica: She transferred! Yes, it is very possible. Thanks for your reply, sir. Forgive my questions, but will the university be obliged to refund the tuition fees? |
Amefrica: NO! Don't apply to community college. There are many affordable universities.I had a friend who told me she applied to a conventional university(one of the SUNYs), and when she arrived in US, simply transferred to a CC. Is this really possible? |
JulianBond007: Gbam! That's the koko of the matter. As long as Eminem isn't black, his music is nothing to black people. Only the whites take him serious.Your racism is just too blatant lady! |
JulianBond007: Dude, there's nothing like heresay. I have been a lover of rap music far back in the 90's. The blacks introduced rap music and there's no way a white folk will be a rap god.Absolutely ridiculous. Everything you wrote simply highlights the bias against Eminem. That guy is the Zeus of the rap world in my books and that's that! How can racial sentiments cloud your judgment? You've been a lover of rap music as far back as the 90's, yet you cannot identify pure and magical rhythmically applied poetry when you hear one? How can someone compare EVE to E....naaaaa, that is RUDE! I love Big, Nas, Tupac and Rakim, but it is what it is - and Eminem IS what it is. Compare Jay-Z to Mac Miller. |
ndu_chucks: Orchestrated for sympathy. Ineffective usage of wool to cover gullible eyes.I couldn't have put it better myself. |
shymexx: I wouldn't want to "pit" the two icons against each other. However, I would say Malcolm X was more of an "ideology", while MLK and the civil rights movement wanted something in real-time (i.e during the struggle).Malcom X's ideology while in NOI was totally flawed. He wanted total segregation from whites and believed in total black supremacy. Tell me, how is that not a dream? Like I stated earlier, his post-NOI days showed his true intelligence at its peak because then he embraced the true world and let go of his racial sentiments. I'm not trying to 'pit' both against each other. It just pains me that Malcom X spent twelve good years in that organization. All for what? Assassination by that same group. |
^^^ he even came to Nigeria and was given the name 'Omowale' by some muslim association. |
I think its important to note that MLK's policy was far more productive. MLK was a visionary, while Malcom X was a dreamer. Yeah, its ironic - I know. |
eGuerrilla: You are a paid hireling who traded his scruples a long time ago - deal with, it is a befitting status!Damn sir! You sure are giving him quite a lot of work to do. |
taharqa: They can't. Cos there are always peeps, like online gorillaas, who wud always indulge them. So why stop??You're a sissy! Why not confront him directly? |
@sincere 9igerian - how obtuse can you be? This is a NATIONAL CARRIER for crying out loud. If you think its so 'safe,' why not ask how old all of Jonny boy's(your pay master) 10 aircrafts are. To make matters worse, its not even new! Have you no shame? Have you no conscience? |
either of the 2 is okay.
