Hi, 1. I will advise that he contacts Centennial and discuss with them. The admission might be reinstated or deferred till a subsequent term. 2. He can't bring that to Canada. He will need to reapply for a new study permit if Centennial doesn't work. Adwoa816: Good day colleagues, pls I need your advice on this. My cousin had admission at centennial College earlier this year. He was required to make fee deposit somewhere June but he couldn't make it due to lack of funds. He applied for the study permit with was approved. A few days After getting his passport, he received a letter from centennial college that his admission has been revoked. Now our challenge is: 1. Do we need to inform IRCC about this recent change, (the fear is maybe his visa too can be revoked if we do) 2. He also applied for a new school and had been offered admission. Can he bring that to Canada since is a different school with a different DLI . With these questions lingering in our minds, we are not sure if he can run into any immigration issues. Please let me know your thoughts on that. |

Hi, If you want to do another M.Ed, then it's advisable you use your B.Ed alone, some schools will even reject you once you an M.Ed already. But if you want to do something different from MEd, then you can submit both certificates. In any case, do watch out for GPA requirements. lollyrekiat: Hello gurus in the house, please I need your advice concerning masters in Canada, I studied Educational Management (B.ed), Educational Administration (M.ed), I want to go for another masters in Education. Should I only tender my B.ed certificate? Or tender both and choose another course in Education like Educational psychology? |

Hi @Divinefavrite 1. Yes, you can go with your kids. You need to show adequate funds and good home ties. 2. You can apply for study permits for all of them. 3. The US citizen doesn't need any visa application (except if you want to apply for a study permit for her). She can get a visitor record at the port of entry. Divinefavrite: Hello House, I need clarification on something. I have actually asked earlier but got no response.
I got admission with Humber college for a 1 year PGC for January 2023 intake. My question:
1. Can I go with my kids (15,14,10 and 5); We have never been separated for more than 2 months at the most so not going with them will be tough. Is there a way around this.
2. If there is, what kind of application will I need to put in for them?
3. Please note that the 5 year old is a US Citizen. Will she need any form of visa application?
I will be waiting for your responses. Thank you. |

I just want to mention that your LOE is the foundation of any application. and i am grateful for to God for connecting me with @Technix . I was here the whole of February trying to get information and asking lots of questions, mostly scared because i was self sponsored with the support of my sister who was a Canadian PR. On one question i asked @Technix reached out to me explaining how to go about it. It marveled me because he was so detailed in his explanation, at that point I decided to share my fears with him and sent him a draft of my LOE. He went through it and edited it, he was able to explain my situation better . When I read the edited copy of my LOE I knew my application was about to be a testimony. I am grateful for meeting you. Thanks a bunch for all the help. I will recommend reaching out to him if you were like me that was doubtful and full of fear. wishing everyone here success in there Journey. Canada here we come |

Even many Canadian schools require volunteering experience for master's admission in social work. I hope that helps. Prettydkb: I need advice on this please. Rejection based on personal assets and financial status is generic except one sees the previous LOE or GCMS note. If you build the account over 6 months, it may not be regarded as a lump sum, depending on the normal cash flow in the account. Either way, if you think there is something you should explain (e.g., where the money comes from), please do. Latyphat7: Hello gurus in the house,
Kindly advise on this refusal that was based on personal assets and financial status. If i now wait for 6months to build the account and the lump sum is no more showing in the statement printed. Am I going to explain it in the letter of explanation or will it be based on the current 6months statement.
Thanks everyone for the contribution in this platform |

Then I summoned the courage and started compiling my documents. It took my almost 3 months to get all documents together and I applied April 9th. I have to give a special shoutout and THANKYOU to the one and only @technix who reviewed my SOP( because I had drafted it before making contact with him) , but guess what guys he did more than that, he went above and beyond to advise and guide me on the process. I would send him messages at odd hours stating my concerns but he would calm me down and reassure me that it would be alright. I have to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for being a great support throughout this process, you are truly God sent. If anyone needs help with this our Canada Parole please guys trust me he is your guy. He is over capable and I am grateful our paths crossed. I can't think of any other thing to do. It's fine, the authorization should be received via webform. Electroweb: Good day everyone After sending a couple of webforms and emails, I received a message from IRCC after a year concerning my child’s TRV application. I didn’t get any notification email concerning the request. Therefore I couldn’t upload the document
So far, I have submitted the document via webforms and emails. Is there anything else I can do to remedy this situation?
Thanks |

My hubby and I got request for biometrics same day but were only able to do biometrics on 13th April. My husband got his Passport Request on 19th April, 2022. My kids got medical request the same 19th April while the status of my medical changed to 'we are reviewing your medical results' since I did upfront medical on the same 19th April. My children did medical on 20th April; their medical was updated to passed on the 30th of April while mine was updated to passed on 6th May, 2022. Hi, Sorry to hear about your prior refusal. 1. You can do either of the two. I personally prefer a single letter addressing the prior refusal and still covering other details needed in a standard LOE. 2. You don't need a gift deed. I will advise that your dad writes a letter of sponsoship and still do the transfer. 3. Your dad living in Nigeria is one proof of home ties. The reference letter is also a proof. But his properties will serve as a proof of assets for him as your sponsor. Lastly, depending on when your school is resuming, you may wait a bit more for the GCMS note. But if you still want to go ahead, I will advise that you allow someone to read your previous LOE. tosynn007: Hello @ everyone, I intend re-applying for for study visa which was refused last month.
1 I seem confused and I want to find out if I'm to submit a reviewed Sop and also a LOE? Or am I just to submit an LOE?
2. My dad will be transferring one million as a gift/dash towards my room and boarding. Do I still need to go get a gift of deed or should I just screenshot the transaction reference and explain the lump sum indicating that it was transferred from his account
3. Does using my dad properties and attaching a reference letter indicating I will work for him after the completion of my study suffice enough proof of home ties?
4. Does any one have a LOE template on how to tackle the VO worries
It is very important to note that I was rejected on the basis of personal asset and financial status. Paid my first term tuition. I have applied for gmcs note but can't wait anymore. |

Hi, Just to add to what Lekiboboe has said, why don't you consider a graduate diploma /certificate instead (since you have a quantitative background)? That shows career progression and makes it easier to convince the VO even if you don't have work experience in data/business analytics. Also, since your long-term aim is master's, a graduate certificate will help. Kbrule: Guys, I'm in a serious deliemma and I need urgent help. I studied Agricultural Economics, Extension and Rural Development in my undergraduate level. Now I would like to go for a Masters in Data Analytics or Business Analytics. In Canada. But the problem is that I don't meet the entry requirements for most schools in Canada. Some schools in the USA offer foundational courses for people who are coming from other fields but I'm yet to see such for a Canadian school. I'm also processing my express entry so my thinking is that if I should get EE, it will not only reduce my tuition, it will also make my life easier.
Now, my question is, considering my limitations, should I apply for a diploma in Data Analytics with co-op? And then do a apply for a Masters when I'm there. Is this even possible? Is it a waste of money?? Please I need advice |
