STEPS TO CORRECT ERRORS ON FORMS SUBMITTED TO THE SINP (POST-APPLICATION SUBMISSION)

Take great care to eliminate all errors on forms and when filling the SINP's OASIS portal prior to the submission of the application and endeavour not to OMIT ANY FORM OR INFORMATION required to populate any of the portal's placeholders.

(Reason: If any document is omitted, the application will be returned and your application, time and money will vaamooss into the thin air just like that, I dont like that feeling, I'm sure you dont too )

Follow the steps below to get your corrected forms across to the Program (SINP). The earlier you submit the corrected form(s) post-application submission, the better (I cant say whether they will entertain the re-submitted corrected forms after your file has been picked to be worked on or not i.e if your status has entered IN PROCESS)

1. Just correct the error on the affected form.

2. Scan and attach the corrected form(s) to their email to their documents collection email (check Sask's website for the correct email address)

3. Write a nice letter of explanation in the body of the email explaining the error or oversight.

NOTE: This corrected form will not reflect on your OASIS portal placeholder but will be kept in your application file with them for use when your application processing enters "IP" (In Process) status.

Incase you haven't gotten an answer or still worried. My hubby's First degree is in accounting, and he has MBA and ican as well. But he got nominated as a social worker based on his experience. So you don't have to be bothered.

These software are not free (except afew. Check sourceforge). I am not an advocate of piracy.
You can put your signature on a white paper, scan/snap it and crop.
Adobe Reader / Foxit Reader can be used to fill pdf forms. Note that in this case only editable fields can be edited. CIC forms can be filled this way.

If you need to make pdf from a set of pictures/documents. My preferred method is to use MS word to arrange everything and then save as pdf.

From experience, you may not need those pdf editing tools afterall. You can merge pdf online if needed.

@TEECANN, regarding "working smart" as you say, you need a PDF editor. Acrobat or Foxit, or any other good one. I know the Foxit pro is really good. It allows you to insert text into any field (for PDF forms without pre-formatted text fields) or into any regular PDF with formatted text field. It also enables you insert images from clipboard. That way you can add your signature into any field and resize it to fit. You won't be printing out the pdf forms at all; everything you'll do with the tools available on the editor.
It also links easily with MsWord and other generic doc & image formats.

So, the first step is finding the right editor.

I learnt something from your Timeline post. I love to work smart though I'm not a techie but I can always learn and add new knowledge.

Can you explain further how I can use the PDF editor to fill PDF forms online and add my signature to populated forms.

What my old school self do is to fill the forms, print it out, manually sign it and scan for uploading (at least, that's what I did during my PNP application)

But going into e-APR, I will love to work smart (abi na ) Hence my question:

- I want to believe with the PDF editor, I wont have to print out the PDF forms and scan the PDF forms, right?

- As per the signature, I want to know how to have it on my laptop: will I sign, scan and save on the system and upload onto the PDF through the editor?

Please I'm back again with my "worry muscles" (in Elfman's voice )

1. I created and submitted my Express Entry profile. I signed into my profile recently and saw only my spouse's details reflected as my dependant, I can't remember being asked to fill details of my children whilst filling the form, though the form asked about the family size. Pls am I in order or did I actually missed out the portion to fill the kid's details?

Hello Sir/Ma, it seems you've already made a decision on what to do but you just need majority opinion to support your action. Your ADR says you should submit your first degree, please submit your first degree, ICAN is not your first degree. Don't complicate things please

That type of statement made in the above quote is not necessary. It may discourage some people from asking for suggestions to their matters here.

The rule is to satisfy ones mind "to the last" as regard the course of action to be taken...most times,when you make that move, you won't have the benefit to correct it and you re on your own..

reading through your post, all i can think of are questions like.
1) was your pnp application for an Occupation in Demand or d general one??
2) did you go thru the requirements for eligibility? if yes, was there any reference to first degree in any specific profession being a pre requisite?

If your answers to the above are no, then i am positive that you have nothing to worry about...just go ahead and scan your first degree and back up with a simple "non defensive" LOE.
If howevr the contrary is d case, then i suggest u seek further guidance from pnp threads on canadavisa forum or any other places u can find help.

1. My PNP is not OID, but EE

2. No reference to the first degree whilst filling and submitting the application. Just the highest educational qualification was required.

Now the provincial ADR for the 1st degree...

I really think you are worrying yourself for nothing. This is not Australian PR program. I have not read of anyone who had problems in this our Canada FSW EE because he/she practices a different profession from field of study (if there is, I haven't seen). I studied Production Eng, I have an MBA, I have worked in a bank all my career, currently in Risk Management. I am not even going to think twice before submitting my B.Tech results post-ITA. I wont even wait for ADR. You are just stressing yourself for something that is not important. Just chill and submit what was asked of you.

PS: The oyinbos understand quite a lot about our system. No be your case go be 1st.

Same here, I won't even bate an eyelid if the ADR were to be coming from a FSW EE process asking for my bsc in Philosophy whilst I work in finance and hold an MBA & ICAN.

But that's where the similarity ends, This ADR is a Provincial Nominee application ADR, not FSW-EE's ADR. Hence the reason for asking because I don't know how the Provincial Visa Officer's (VO) will react to same situation that does.not mean anything at the Federal CIC stage. if you understand what I mean now..
