You have said so yourself

Thanks for your time and I believe there are better ways you could have passed your information with making it sound like I lack comprehension skills.

Between I'm a keen observer on this thread and I know the nature of a back and forth when I see one...

Peace...

Smh...

dazzle101:
I believe it's well understood what I wrote up there. I'm not in the habit of back and forth...

For a better understanding you do ur own research but I will recommend Placebo and Demons, an eye witness account by Howard Pittmann. Go read up and you shall be blessed with what u seek.

But just so you know; yes.... every temptation to sin is of and from the devil! God NEVER tempts us, never!!!

Especially when you have compromised ur will power is when one gets possessed by the supposed demon in charge of such a sin in the life of man ... between you are the one insinuating every man is possessed, no where in my post did I affirm that. I gave u two bible references up there and I suggest u read them again to understand better!

Shallom...

Well I won't go back and forth with you either..

I will just say you didn't get my question.

Well have a great week..

Thanks for your time and I believe there are better ways you could have passed your information with making it sound like I lack comprehension skills.

dazzle101:
I don't quite agree... and what motivates the flesh? isn't it the presence demonic manipulation? When u are tempted and eventually give in to the flesh, this is when they win and one falls into sin. When u have let ur guard down and compromised ur will then ur flesh becomes weak and one becomes a bait.

You should also know that you must not even yield to the flesh before you are come after. That you are also going close to God or trying to be makes u bait for unknown forces. It is a constant battle my dear, one which by God's mercy you become aware of makes u the least vulnerable. At least Jesus has warned us not to be ignorant of the wiles of the wicked.

More so, apostle Paul has clearly stated in Ephesians 6:12, we wrestle not against flesh n blood but principalities and powers, rulers of darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness in high places.

Also there in 2Corinthians 10; 3-4 (For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty to the pulling down of strong holds) my dear this verse says it all.

The most important weapon of the devil is to downplay activities of his n his mininons making us think they're not present or trying to bring up a false illogical explanation abt why things are or should be. The moment one realizes the essence of putting on the whole armour of Christ and to not attribute levity to issues, then you are one step ahead.

What am I trying to say to conquer the flesh is to be able to conquer demonic temptations, attacks and eventual oppression, remember 1peter 5: 8 - Be sober, be vigilant for your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour....

Whether you are a devout/pretty laid back or just there in the faith no one is free from this that's why we need to keep standing strong in faith and by the authority in the name of Jesus, who has given us the power to trample upon serpents and scorpions and every power of the enemy, and whose name at the mention of which every knee bows, in the heaven, earth, under the earth and that every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord to the glory of God the father....

Thanks for your reply

Can you clarify the bolded?

Are you saying it is demons that motivate a man to sin against God which mean every man is possessed, is that waht you saying?

Praise the Lord, For the great testimony. It will be permanent in Jesus name.

I have realised on these thread we talk mire on how we prevailed over demins and the attacks and the likes,

But no one(correct me of am wrong) has talked about bow they prevailed over the flesh.

When you conquer self, there would be no need to fight demons cos naturally they wouldn't not have legal ground over once life.

All is well.

Share your thoughts too

Just dropped these afternoon and decided to share.

Okay. I used foreign credential service of America (FCSA) and my 4.25 came out as 3.29. I guess the cheaper the evaluation company, the less tendency for your result to increase the more. I used FCSA cos it was just $140 and they don't require official transcript so I just scanned and sent to them. I regretted it tho and next time I'll use WES for PhD application.

Sorry, Please why do you regret it?

sirRiddy:
Lol gunther6

Hello house, please i need your advice.

I am a graduate of Industrial Chemistry. Twice last year i visited US embassy for visit visa, but was denied.
Now i want to go for study after my service.
I am contemplating if to go for a fresh undergraduate program in Chemical Engineering (which is closely related to my previous field) or go for a masters program in Chemistry.

Pls advice me! Thanks

Cc: aadeyi, gunther6, et al

Your age among other things would determine if you can still go for undergraduate.

You have to tell the VO what you have been doing during the gaps I hope you get.

Hi All,

I have closely followed this thread and have been blessed by the testimonies of God's mercies and power. Also, really appreciate the wealth of biblical knowledge God has blessed many people with and their willingness to share. Thanks to CharleyG for starting up.

Let us remember that it is sometime better to be kind than to be right. This is love and maturity and will not allow us to be puffed up with knowledge.

I had a dream January of 2011 that has left a permanent impression on my mind, and would appreciate the thoughts of those with sound spiritual insight into what this could mean. Although I know fully well that it is a good dream and God is trying to say something but I need to understand it. I find it easier hearing God than understanding what He is trying to say

the dream

I was standing with my mum and dad in what looked like a the Redemption Camp (Lagos), and it was as if there was a convention/ holy Ghost meeting going on. The GO was preaching and in the message, he mentioned as part of his preaching or during the announcement session (can't remember) that '....we are publishing a book on the knowledge of the secrets of the Kingdom'..

The message finished and the GO walked passed where I and my parents were standing. He suddenly stopped, walked back to us and told me to follow him. He instructed that I hold him around the waist from behind. He began to walk around with me behind him praying. We walked around in that manner (praying) then he stopped, knelt down and I knelt down too. The he said 'your ministry will be great and it will be on TV and newspapers but you must take care of your little girl'. (my wife was pregnant with our first child at the time).

This dream has left me pondering; . especially that last time I even visited the Redemption Camp was 2007, am not a RCCG pastor or even a Worker and definitely didn't think about the GO/RCCG before going to bed the previous night. It felt like the dream came out of the blue.

Your thoughts will be appreciated.

God bless

Bros,

You have the call of God upon your life and a very great one that.

Congratulations you have been chosen to be among the end time generals for the lord.

So get prepared. You following the G.O means that your ministry will be patterned or have similarities like that of the G.O.

Teach your child the way she should go and when she grows up she will not depart from it.

Thanks.

It's not easy, the closer I try to get to God, it seems the more the battles come, and I wonder where God is in all of this.

The first question i would ask you is how do I get close to God?

The second how do you know you are not close to him?

Why are you giving up when the victory is near?

What type of trials are they and what part of your life are they affecting?

The Bible say many are the afflictions of the righteous but he delivereth them from it all. It says what shall separate us from the love of Christ. It says for these reason the son of man was made manifest so that he can destroy the works of the devil.

My brother, it is very normal to discouraged, it is normal to feel lonely and left alone but it is also normal to hold God to his words, He is a God that can never lie, never will because he does not change.

Don't worry it is well with you.

Father, I pray for your son that let your power and your grace over shadow his life. Lord, he has gotten to his limits, the reason for temptations and trials is for your name to be glorified and the blessing be ours, lord your son is looking up on to you.. he will not fail you, Give him strength to carry on and lord by the power and grace upon my life and upon these thread before the next 3 days let there be divine turn around that would shock him and lord use his life to advertise how great you are. Thank you father for you have done it in Jesus name I pray.

Dont forget to share your testimony.

Have a wonderful sunday

You guys are beginning to go very deep. Some of the things you guys are saying here are what are thought in deep theology and its not for just anybody.

Please i would employ you guys to thread softly because of the newbies coming into the thread so that they don't begin to get more than they can chew,

Please let leave it at a peripheral stage..

Thanks and may God continue to help us.

for the people been attacked the lord is your strength.

Justwise--

Why did you delete my post about sirRiddy's visa approval?

when everyone was congratulating him, i was wondering where the transcript was

All is well...

We should learn to agree to disagree.

I don't remember anywhere in the Bible that it says we should discard the old law or old testament as it where.

If old testament was not needed it won't be in the Bible at all. So there is a reason its there.

Now, understanding is key.

I remember Jesus saying he didn't come to abolish the law but come to fulfil it.

But you can educate me if am wrong but I believe these a thread established by God so we should not reduce it to discussing doctrines as they say Heaven no get branch it is the same heaven we all striving for. So please let dwell peacefully

Shalom

2law:
you should be mindful of what you say bro... You should not run into conclusions that what am seeing is a demon or fallen except u hrd directly from God. When you talk often abt the kingdom of darkness and demons what do u expect to see in your dreams? am not good in bible recitation. The bible said meditate this things.. What ever thing is true, pure, holy etc.

I think you should thread carefully and be sure of what you have..

The Bible says test all spirits. ?

Spiritual things are very very deep... Its all enclosed in mysteries take out time to understand and you am sure you will be better for it.

If you know you have a gift then go to where children of God are and fellowship, you would see people who would help you.

I pray that God will help you

katyamizotta:
Hello guys, I am glad to have come across this thread: it's a beautiful one.

I got born again in 1993 while in secondary school. I loved God however my relationship with Him was one of the girl who kept on toasting the guy, who wouldn't spare her a glance year after year. (in this case I was the girl and God was the guy)
I was always in church, fellowship or on my way to church/fellowship
After many years without success, I got discouraged and backslid.
Now I'm tired, I'd like to go back to God. After 23 years I've decided even if he doesn't show up I'll just continue on the right path.

My first issue is I've made a habit of some sins and I do them on auto mode.
How do I stop? Please don't tell me to put effort...I have and it didn't work. In fact I'm presently putting effort.

Second issue: whenever I try to pray even for 5 minutes I sleep off. Currently I can't play more than two minutes: I will sleep off regardless of the time of day.

Third what does it mean when all your teeth fall out in your dream. I start crying, and I wake up crying.

Fourth @ Analice, have u started working with the lady who owns a school?

The Bible says draw near to me and I will draw nesr to you.

You would need to go through a detailed deliverance session.

Enjoy ur Sunday

kallmemrB:
you are face with a demon and u think shouting and praying loudly will save u abi I laugh in Chinese.... Someone said something Abt weapon given to us...there's no way u can utilize the weapon if u don't even know how to activate it

2 Cor 10:4 u need to know how to activate the weapon for usage

Bros,

So what is the bases of your argument?

Are you saying we should be whispering in front of the enemy?

If you know what one faces in the deliverance ministry based on praying for people you would know you can't whisper, wjen your life is at steak

Anas09,,, My able evangelist, You made 100 percent ma.

God bless and continue to increase you.

There is oppression everywhere.

Na Jesus sure pass

Have a blessed sunday
