Some few similarities are expected to be with bible because God told Muhammad things that have happened before him but many differences because bible was written by some men 300 years after Christ. There are some truths in bible too but too many flaws because Jesus wasn't there to correct them. Bible isn't even as authentic as inauthentic hadiths in Quran. The stories in Quran if some are similar to bible,Allah told Prophet Muhammad the real version of them and being in fragments and disarranged,it endorses the authenticity of the Quran.

I wonder where you got the Bible written 300 years after Jesus. This is either a lie or fabrication.

The Bible consist of Two parts :
The Old Testament = Scripture of the Jews, the last book Malachi is 700 years before the birth of Jesus
The New Testament = Consists of the four Gospels and Writings of the Apostles of Jesus to the Churches. The last book Revelation was written approximately 57 years after Jesus was resurrected by John the disciple of Jesus.

Not withstanding, there is a dilemma for Muslims. If the Bible is an error, then
1. Allah is in error
2. Mohammed is in error.
Because both attests to the earlier revealed scriptures.

Secondly, some of the things Allah told Mohammed are clearly ERRORS that the Almighty Creator Cannot make.
1. Solomon died standing for almost one year and no body knew he was dead.
2. The sun sets in the murky waters
3. Women have reproductive fluids coming from their ribs
4. The story of the seven sleepers etc etc

The Quran came to Prophet Muhammad in fragments,he could be anywhere or be doing anything and the revelation would come,so it's expected to be that way but if you had researched more,you would realize the importance of such arrangements by God,some tell us distances,weights,percentages,numbers,etc in science that are proven right today,the arrangements are not of human arrangement that would be in alphabetical order or whatever. In the Bible a person is a prophet when God directly speaks to him messages for His people. Is Mary the mother of Jesus a prophet? Jibril spoke to Mary o!

In Islam,whatever we do is what we get,Prophet Muhammad is never treated preferentially by Allah,he worked so hard for it,suffered too much for Islam to spread,prayed too much that his legs used to swell when he prays to Allah through out the night,he saw Allah during his Isra and Miraj and receives messages of Allah from angel Gabriel that decends down or comes as a man a lot of times,all of those alone would make him fear Allah and worship him more than we that have never seen him or recieved any message from any angel from Allah .Prophet Muhammad ﷺ must be highly regarded by every Muslim because he's our master,our principal,our coodinator,our director,our teacher,our mentor,our role model but definitely far from being our God, he's not our God and the best Muslims among us will enter same Paradise as prophet Muhammad, Jannatul Firdous which is one of the 7 paradises and be beside him on the day of judgement.

Also,Quran is only one,the has never been any alteration,there are several millions of Hafiz(those that have memorized Quran) all over the world at all generations and times,even if anyone trues to manipulate Quran by changing it's texts,the Hafiz Al Quran would know. The reward for being an Hafiz and loving as God recommended is Jannatul Firdous,the best of a Jannat and Hafiz people have opportunity to bring out 7 of their family members from hell fire and into Jannat on the day of judgement. It's all God's plan to preserve Quran and ensure no single letter is altered The whites have tried altering it in the past but they were caught. Nigeria has the highest number of Hafiz in the world and Hafiz in Borno state are more than Hafiz in Saudi Arabia,all probably due to our population and endurance of Nigerians. You don't need the Hafiz if only you Muslims have kept the Quran of Mohammed or the Quran of Uthman .


If you check your Quran (I assume you are Sunni), it is according to the Recitation of Hafs. No one knows where the Quran of Mohammed nor the Quran of Uthman is till today. For the Record, Hafs lived 200 years after Mohammed. He didn't even meet ANY of the Sahaba of Mohammed.

I almost recited the Shahada in my 200Levels in the University. Thanks to Ahmed Deedat's books (I read almost every everything). Ahmed Deedat tore down the very fabric of my Christianity. I counted the cost of becoming a Muslim :would my parents be hurt? YES! , Would they disown me? NO! Would they stop my school fees? NO!

Before reciting the Shahada, I decided to get myself an English Quran (The Glorious Qur'an) and I started reading from Chapter One AL-FATHIA and proceeded down. Unlike you Muslims who would notice nothing with the quran while reading, I discovered that the Quran was in no particular order. Everything seems mixed up and fragmented. I also began to see fragments of full stories of partriachs I knew from the Bible (Only Surat Yusuf has some depth and continuity). This didn't affect me until I began to read contradictions between the Tanakh (Old Testament and Scripture of the Jews), the New Testament, History and the Quran.

I could understand if the Quran contradicted the New testament of the Bible, but I cannot understand how it could also be at variance with the Tanakh. For me at that time, the True God cannot be for the Jews and Muslims at the same time.

I decided to slow down to study especially Christianity and Islam. The more I studied, the more I see that Islam was based on deception. I studied aspects of faith in Christianity that I didn't have adequate understanding. It was in the process of discussing with Muslims that I saw that Islam was worse than I thought. It was based entirely on lies

Eg.
-There is only one Arabic Quran
-The Quran is perfectly preserved even to the diacritical marks
-The Quran is from God
-Mohammed is the best example for mankind

I sincerely advise everyone to look for a translation of the quoran/Koran and read it. It comes across like a blind man trying to paint a picture.

It is more like
1. Gather a disjointed prose,
2. Tear the book into chapters,
3. Tear each chapter into verses.
4. Juggle the verses together
5. After these bunch the torn verses of into 114 groups called new chapters
6. Arrange the verses new chapters serially

Jabir ibn Abdullah reported: Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, used to say, “Abu Bakr is our master and he emancipated our master,” meaning Bilal.


In another narration it is mentioned that when Bilal became a Muslim, his masters took hold of him and laid him on the ground and placed stones and cow skin on him and said, “Your gods are Lat and Uzza [names of idols].” However, Bilal(ra) would only repeat, “Ahad, Ahad [God is One, God is One].”

Abu Bakr(ra) approached his masters and said, “For how long will you continue to torment this man?” Abu Bakr paid seven auqiyah for Bilal and freed him. One auqiyah is equivalent to 40 dirham; that is, he paid 280 dirhams for him. Thereafter, Abu Bakr(ra) narrated this incident to the Prophet Muhammad pbuh, upon which the Holy Prophet(sa) said, “O Abu Bakr! Include me in this deed as well.” Abu Bakr replied, “O Prophet(sa) of Allah! I have already freed him.” (Ibn Sa‘d, Al-Tabaqat al-Kubra, Vol. 3, Bilal bin Rabah [Beirut, Lebanon: Dar al-Kutub al-‘Ilmiyyah, 2017]

The conduct of Abu Bakr was approved by Allah in the following verses of the Holy Quran:

"He who gives in charity and fears Allah And in all sincerity testifies to the Truth; We shall indeed make smooth for him the path of Bliss" {92:5-7}

"Those who spend their wealth for increase in self-purification; And have in their minds no favor from any one For which a reward is expected in return, But only the desire to seek the Countenance, Of their Lord, Most High; And soon they shall attain complete satisfaction." {92:8-21}

I explained to you from Quran 12:78 where the root of this word hamza, ha and dal is also used in the phrase ahadanaa (note the ending nun and alif). Ahadana combines ahad with mina which means of us to become one of us.

The Word Ahad is used about 85 times in the quran and except for once where you Muslims want to mistranslate to attain waheed, Ahad means ONE Of or UNITY

They said: “O exalted one! Behold! he has a father, aged and venerable, (who will grieve for him); so take [highlight ]one of[/highlight ] us in his place; for we see that thou art (gracious) in doing good.”

Bilal may Allah be pleased with him lived a free man before his death.

Emancipation of Bilal:
News of this slave reached some of Prophet’s companions and they informed the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W.) about Bilal (R.A.). Prophet (S.A.W.) sent Abu Bakr (R.A.) to negotiate for the emancipation of Bilal (R.A.).
Abu Bakr Siddiq (R.A.) went to Umayyah and his people while they were torturing Bilal (R.A.). Abu Bakr (R.A.) shouted at them,
"Are you killing a man because he says, 'Allah is my Lord?"'
Then Abu Bakr (R.A.) shouted at Bilal’s master Umayah ibn Khalaf,
''Take more than his price and set him free."
Umayyah liked Abu Bakr’s (R.A.) offer as he thought that selling Bilal (R.A.) to Abu Bakr (R.A.) was more profitable to him than his servant’s death.
Umayyah sold Bilal (R.A.) to Abu Bakr (R.A.). Abu Bakr (R.A.) immediately emancipated Bilal (R.A.) and Bilal took his place among free men.

When Abu Bakr Siddiq (R.A.) put his arm round Bilal, rushing with him to freedom,Umayah said to him,

"If you had refused to buy him except for one ounce of gold, I would have sold him to you."
Abu Bakr realized it was appropriate not to answer, but because they violated the dignity of this man who had become his brother and his equal, he answered Umayah by saying,

"By Allah, if you had refused to sell him except for a hundred ounces, I would have paid it."

Let me lecture you on this!
1. Bilal was born as a slave in Mecca. His fatherRabah was an Arab slave his mother was a black woman to a slave master Umayyah ibn Khalaf.
2. Bilal was one of the first persons to accept Islam in mecca and his master found out and tortured him for several days while he refused to renounce Islam as he kept saying Allah is one (Ahad)
3. The report got to Mohammed who sent Abu Bakr to see to his release from Umayyah ibn Khalaf,
4. Abubakar went to Umayyah ibn Khalaf and after either purchasing him or exchanging him for a non-Muslim slave, Bilal was released to Abubakar
5. Bilal henceforth became owned by Abubakar as his slave till the death of Mohammed.
6. Bilal desired to be set free as he had served both Abubakar, Mohammed and Islam faithfully over a long time. At a point he had to challenge Abubakar for his freedom.

Narrated Qais:
Bilal said to Abu Bakr, "If you have bought me for yourself then keep me (for yourself), but if you have bought me for Allah's Sake, then leave me for Allah's Work."

7. I am not aware of any record that says Bilal was set free by Abubakar. You should know as a Muslim and be able to present the evidence

8. Bilal had a wife and died about the age of 60.

Conclusion :
So, you have given evidence where Abubakar bought Bilal but no evidence where he set Bilal free. Sahih al-Bukhari 3755 showed that Abubakar didn't set Bilal free

I didn't respond to your earlier statement in another post about me not seeming stupid. Your recent posts prompts me to think it's a question you are often asked.

Allah refers to himself as Ahad in only one place don't mix this up with other places of it's use. Bilal says Ahadun Ahad.

Allah calls Himself Al-Ahad— The Only One, the Unique— on one occasion in the Quran. Al-Ahad is the One who was, is, and will ever remain alone. He is indivisible and the essence of unity, and nothing or no one can ever be equal to Him in essence in all His beautiful attributes!

The Sole One, The Unity
Ahad. The first meaning is to be the only one and sole. The second main meaning is to unite or unify. This root appears 85 times in the Quran in 2 derived forms. Examples of these forms are ahadun (“anyone”), ahadukum (“one of you”) and ihdaa (“any, one”).

al-Ahad means being one in His attributes. Al-Ahad is one of the attributes of Allah which belong uniquely to Him, and in which nothing else has a share.
Bilal was a slave of Ummayah Ibn Khalaf, who was furious when he found out about his belief in the Oneness of Allah. Each day he would put Bilal in the heat of the sun denying him food or water and he ordered others to place a large rock on his chest so he could hardly breath.
He continued crushing him saying, “I will never stop torturing you, until either you die or you declare kufr in Muhammad and you return back to worshipping the Lat and Uzzah.” You see Al Ahad is different from Lat and Uzzah which you try to force a sameness on. Do rag and ray refer to the same?
In extreme hardship and under the pressure of the rock on his chest Bilal spoke his famous words of unshakeable faith which are an inspiration to all believers:
“Ahadun Ahad”, “The One! The One!” After eleven days of torture Abu Bakr radiyallahu anhu bought Bilal and set him free. The Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam himself soon selected Bilal for one of the most honourable tasks: the mu’addhin, the caller of the adhaan, every day proclaiming the Oneness of Allah, Al-Ahad!

1. He never had to work to provide sustenance for himself or his disciples because people donated to him and wanted him to come to big fancy dinners even.

2. Personal aggrandisement, having people shout your name and throng you everywhere you go is pretty heady and very ego boosting.

3. Power over people. Insinuating he is the son of the god of the jew and was prophesied to reign over Israel, he courted peoples attention and devotion which they gave.
