Quality20:I don't think Oyegun did anything good for the party. Personally as a Nigerian, his leadership supervise the current crisis we face as a country. When there are rifts between executive and Senate, Nigeria and her economy will suffer. For three years, he can't resolve the internal crisis of APC, which have reflected on the budget processes, unsettled Senate (just imagine APC members having up to 3 different caucus with different opposing objectives, to the extent that they are suspending their own members who are not against the party decision but an individual in the party). Oyegun leadership is a failed one and his failed leadership has cost us as Nigerians so much pain. How on earth, will Oyegun be comfortable with Senate foot dragging National budget that was prepared based on his party manifesto for months, that guy should be sack. But to be candid, APC as a party is full of confused fellows as I really don't why sensible one among them have not move and stand for Oyegun impeachment (as PDP did towards last election) immediately after the NASS principal officers saga. That in my personal opinion was the party affairs and not that of the President as many people insunated then. |
authority2006:If you have checked the SELECTION PREFERENCE menu, you would have got enough information about the category of people the programme is meant for. It always the best practice to check ALL available link in any job application pages. |
NwaAmaikpe:Seems you do not have higher institution experiences or you attended a private university. Not all cases are trade-by-barter, there are very intelligent people that some lecturers failed because of sex, not buying textbook/handout and paying some fee for a course. The trade-by-barter things is mostly seen in private universities but in public university victimization by lecturers are order of the day. Check from Wole Soyinka till date...there are many instances that I can give. This victimization things is not done by male lecturers alone. |
AGManuel:That bank job is a contract job... Contract job in a bank is a career trap except some few banks that have the prospect for converting outsourced (contract) staff. For a marking job... Hmmmm... please do NOT accept the offer, stay in your current job and grow. I assume your qualification is OND/NCE, if that is true, please think of upgrading your qualification or saving to start a business of your own. Wishing you best in your decision. |
AutoReportNG:It would have made better sense if you include the week day pictures side by side with weekend pictures. If I have not been to Lagos before or able to identify the areas in your pictures, I may not be able to get your message of how dry Lagos roads are during the weekend mostly on Sundays. |
OGHENAOGIE:In addition to AutosBay reply, the non passage of 2018 budget may be the critical element for FG not to kick start the 2017 NPower programme. As it is now FG government cannot spent beyond their spending for the same period last year. Unfortunately this same budget is still with the NASS since November 2017 (almost 5 months now). The worst of it all is that nobody is talking about it but we are quick to blame Buhari for all the economic woes of the country and praising the same set of people who sabotage the rapid growth and development of the country through deliberate acts of slowing down processes and confirmation for their selfish and personal/political interests. My advice is for you is to put off your mind from the programme untill you hear that 2018 budget has been passed by the NASS. |
Desirae:No, you are not overreacting but don't move out of that house. They love you and you love them but they don't understand and trust you enough to be able to handle the situation that single ladies of your age face. Firstly, living under your parents and allowing your friends and who to life partner to visit you in your parents' house may be help in maintaining a responsible future life partner though it never a guarantee of such. It allows your parents assess them and give appropriate advice. Bet me those parents especially the mother are "witch and prophets", they have some instinct or spirits that sense dangers that is decades ahead. Ooh, they won't allow them in? That's very simple... ... Sit them down and discuss with them from the own perspective (I assume you have not done this or you do it wrongly). Tell them, I know you love me, you want me to be a responsible future wife and husband that will had more time for the husband and children than friends and parties (I assumed that will be the reason for their "over protection", as you may see it)... I know all these and assured you.... (give them assurance and display convincing attitudes and actions to increase their confidence that you can MATURELY handle the life situation of single ladies with good job...). After assurance, let them to know what you really don't about their actions which tends to see you as that old secondary school girl... you possibly can give them your expectations of you from them... more more things but the overall is trust your caring and loving parents, discuss you likes/dislikes with them, and have open dialogue with them on your relationship, friends and outing... You discover how much water will runs from your eyes during the " -day".Best of all good lucks to you. |
edogirl2:Thank you for this |
npowerng:Good day Team, Please what is the procedure of applying for maternity leave through Npower. I have a beneficiary in Lagos who stated that Medical maternity Report (whatever they called it) from private recognised hospital that is even used by many HMOs is not acceptable by Npower. That she should use the private hospital report to get public hospital own. How true is this? |
odum1:Sorry, I think my post was not directed to you... But hold on, you mean the only source of information is the YouWin official at the training centre? The last time I checked, ministry of finance has active Facebook and Twitter account even contact details on their official website, they actually need not to kidnapped the minister of finance. Moreover, the last programme, which I assume must have been under the last administration, they can as well contact previous beneficiaries (I am sure you not ask me how) or asked the centre officials about how the previous beneficiaries go about it and at what point they submitted their business plan... You may be surprised to find out the that process is going as it should be because obviously payment of support grant is not what is next according to what the OP posted. Check some recruitment trends and see how people tends to get relief knowing how long previous recruitment takes and stages that were involved. I think my examples relates well with this as you can not relates with the GTB and Dangote examples in the context it was used. There might likely be trends for previous beneficiaries from this forum self... I am surprised at the level of your reasoning and possibly solution that you suggested though... Thank you for the reply anyway, it makes me give more insight into my previous post. phyllosilicate:Sorry OP, I do not intend to offend you. Good luck to you all. |
npowerng:What about those that are not successful? In a sane society and good business (recruitment) practice, unsuccessful candidates will be sent a professional (friendly) regret mail/SMS. At least, let practice good business ethics for once, if SMS will cost you (though insignificant to NPOWER) some money, at least email would not. Let the change begins with the FG... |
phyllosilicate:Then inquire about it. To be candid, you guys should have know and planned ahead as you are concluding the training. You don't wait for information to be given to you but seek to find information necessary for the future as early as possible and accurately as you can. Real entrepreneurs seeks and pay, in fact sometimes heavily, for information about the future. That is why most of them invest in business analytical tools and programs in order to predict, plan and conquer challenges even before they occur. That is what our political elites do not have. They don't buy the idea of "when will get to the bridge we shall cross it", they will always cross the bridge before getting there. They will draw variety of bridges they are likely going to see in the future and devise a means to crossing it even at it worst stage. Go and ask GTB and Dangote. |
phyllosilicate:Can I ask you some questions?... 1. Have you people submitted your business plan? 2. Have they get back to you on how successful your business plan is? Note that business plan is a critical document on which decisions to fund your "learned entrepreneurial skills" will be based. In fact no financial institutions will grant you loan with a good business plan. 3. Also note that from what you posted and circled in the first picture, not all the 5,000 successful applicants will receive the fund but those who have developed greater entrepreneurial skills in their line of interest through the training and utilised it in preparing a visible and viable business plan. So are you in this category? 4. If you are in this category and the program coordinator have communicated that you business plan has been accepted, then, as at today, can the FG pay any money without being appropriated for in the budget? 5. If actually you have learn from the training, the answer to the above should be at your finger tip. Was the money appropriated for and in which budget? 2017 or 2018 budget? 6. The answer to the above, is the main issue to be solve. Apologies if I made a wrong conclusion... with your posts and replies, I strongly believe that if you are among the 5,000 successful candidates, you obviously will not be part of those that will be financed and if you are lucky (I mean lucky), you may not be able to maintain the sustainability of the business. Because for every growth and expansion in business, getting accurate, reliable and realistic business, financial and political including economic indexes and information is crucial. It seems you lack this but focused more on getting the money more. Thank you. |
powalez:Yes but you will also need your NYSC discharge certificate. Good luck. |
Kholiwe:... But God strikes a man dead because he refuses to release his sperm (that was predetermined to fertilised the woman's egg) inside a woman... Life starts even before implantation hence the science and medical professionals count the pregnancy date from the first day of woman's monthly circle and not the date of implantation/fertilisation. Thank you IjeleNwa |
The principal comment said it all only that the teacher use harsh and derogatory sentence in describing the child character but the message is likely to be an undiluted fact constructed in the raw form of language. |
elriyaz:In terms of quality and durability TECNO is better than Infinix but on quality pictures Infinix better than TECNO. Any TECNO and Infinix products of THAT price will be good. My advise though is that you should go for Nokia 3 or higher or Huawei Honour 6A but make sure that the phone you are to but has 1. 2GB/3GB RAM 2. 16GB/32GB ROM Nokia 3 may be a good choice for the amount you have because it has 4G LTE for all network in Nigeria including that of glo. Huawei Product is good in terms of network reception. You may also check out Motorola, they are just getting back into Nigeria market now. Best of lucks to you. |
MrRichy:Your VIN is enough to get other details you blurred. I advice you blurr the VIN and PU. |
master69:I am sure it is more of budget related constraint. Maybe until the budget is approved. Hope it will not stay for over 10 months with NASS. |
Melison:Sleep more, at least 5 hours a day. A good sleep I mean. If you think too much you might be deprived of good sleep. Drink more water and take more protein. At worst, spare N250 every week for milk and tea. Buy four N50 powder peak milk with lipton (if you are not allergy to it, coffee is never a good option for reading purpose) in a tea cup. Use can take it two times a week or four times a week. It is was best to sleep after taking the tea. Above all, take away and avoid distrations that may make you loss concetration. Work on your minds to be focus, read in a place where you can not easily be distracted and most importantly get a specific time and place to read everyday. You system will adjust and be ready to assimilate with time. Always start with subject you are most interested in first to buid your reading habits. |
Good day guys, |
Ladyjules:Use your Statement of Result, signed and stamped by your school on the official letter head. I am sure you should have that. |
olowo72:Commissioner for oath is obtainable in any recognised court of law. Please, if that is what the requirements says, it means either of the two. Go for the easier one, that is commissioner for oath. |
nivlek:Dress code is business casual but Jean is not allowed. Training day has always been Monday to Friday while test are conducted on Saturdays. The training time is 8am to 5pm but most times you may need to stay up to 7/8pm for some group work or assignments. |
DeniseKendricks:1. Credit Bureau Report - I don't know much about that. 2. Postage Stamp - you can get that at any NIPOST office, standard stationery stores or book shops. These are easily accessible at Marina, the bank's head office. 3. Notary Seal - you can get this from some law Chambers or any known rotary lawyer. The good news is that somehow at every documentation or during the TS, one or two rotary lawyers always come around to help out. Hope this helps a little. |
CooKeed:TS will possibly start 2-3 weeks from now. You do not necessarily need to complete/submit all required documents most especially the guarantor forms before TS, you will be giving grace till last week of your TS. But the best is to complete your submission at least first week of training school because of the demands of your trainings. Best of lucks to you. |
CooKeed:Good morning, How can I be of help? |
GOFON:Simple, listen to your inner self. If your spirit or mind tells you to give any beggars money do give, our instinct is always the best judge. However, the act of not giving is not a sin but the motive of not giving. If your motive is pure as stated, I believed that there people in your neighbourhood, workplace, even people you see regularly or children who are unable to go to school, that you know need some help to the extent that your mind do regularly/sometimes bring their needs to your thinking. You can think of little things you can do to help them even if you hardly have enough. It's not compulsory that your giving must be to the beggars but to everyone whom you see are in needs of things such as words of advice, moral supports (eg helping an old/disable person cross the road), speaking out for the oppressed, voluntary witnessing (truthfully) for people in helpless situations. I know of a friend who try his best reaching out to an accused on murder case to be a witness in a court case because he witnessed the scene of the incident. His witnessing save the lady as the accident was caused by the LASMA official. Unknowingly, the woman recently lost her husband with husband's family taking over the properties leaving her to solely cater for four young children with 13 years as the oldest. The summary is help people as much as you are capable of but in line with your belief, instinct and personal convictions. |
CooKeed:I do not think there will be any bond for this recruitment as the last recruited management trainees are not bond. |
DZenith:Please note this information "In compliance with CBN’s Regulation 3, UBN is divesting of all non-core banking subsidiaries, which aligns with our core banking business model. Union Bank, United Kingdom (UBUK) will remain the only subsidiary of the bank."Hence the recruitment is for Union Bank of Nigeria Plc, thank you. |
adakaibeyamma:You are good to go, as far as your personal presentation is above average and at aggregate your average scores fall between the highest performing candidates. Meaning, let's say the total number to be taken out 10 people is then all scores will be ranked (please don't ask further questions on this), the highest 3 will be picked. People like you when selected will be deployed to Middle or Back office. As I have mentioned earlier, your personal presentation carries more weight than group. Only to make sure that you contributions meaningfully in the group work and not necessarily dominating the discussion. Above all, all attributes are good for some roles, so everyone in the group will perform well as far as the make meaningful contribution either once or throughout the discussion. |
Congratulations to all who have been assessed. Majority of you perform above average, hence, I may conclude that if anyone is yet to receive invitation for assessment centre, the possibility of ever getting it is zero. The invitation for medicals will possibly be sent by last week of December or first week of January. This is logically affirmed as the Training School was planned to start by mid/late January (all things being equal). Please note that chances of being selected is not based on when or where the candidate were being assessed. And also noted that your certificate and documents are not being verified in the assessment centre. The originals to be sighted to confirm if the candidate possesses the minimum qualification requirements for the recruitment. Verification of results are done after the documentation and Training school, usually by an third party company. Wishing you all the best in everything. |
