okenwaa:On Adeosun. She probably has no knowledge that the certificate was forge, so she has no intention to defraud. But the question is, she did officially applied for Exemption Certificate as confirmed by NYSC but NYSC has not revealed their official response to her request letter. Did NYSC officially issue an invalid certificate to her in response to her or did they never responded to her request letter? If they never responded, why? And if they responded, where is the proof? Those who has faced such issues with driving licence and landed property documentation will know better. Where you will enter official office of government agencies, interact with their official staff, and still go out with face document or licence. If the organisation has officially responded to her request letter, she would have know that the certificate is not validly issued. She later received the certificate she requested for instead of disapproval letter. Until the Presidency unveiled the content of their investigation, we cannot validly conclude the real culprit in this case. |
The last time I checked. EFCC means Economic and Financial Crime Commission. |
Ambode can't be running Lagos to favour the "Lekkists" colleagues against the Lagos Mainlanders and expect victory for APC. Few of the affected Mainlanders of Fashola policies almost cost APC the last election. In fact, Lagos State has two rules now one for the Mainland and one for the Island. Check out waste management (which is also a major blow) administration. NB. Lagos Mainlanders are the Transporters, road side petty traders, market traders, and people living in Surulere, Mushin, Ajegunle, etc. In fact, assuming the "go-slow petty traders" are not somehow helping the Lagos Islanders, they would have been totally wiped out. But my issue here is the leaders oppositions are not because of anti-hustlers and two-Lagos policies implementations of Ambode but because they are not benefitting from him. |
yembabs231:Having BSc(Ed) is equivalent to having HND/BSc/BA/BTech/... and PGDE. |
@Kiishii I fear for this demand from your husband. I do understand that you held back those pieces of information at the time of marriage before of fear couple with doctor uncertainty comment about your condition. Moreso, God has shown you more of His mercy by giving you 2 boys and a girl. You hold Him of your life than to your husband. My first question is that, has your husband ever been against your work ever before this incident? If yes, you may consider leaving the job. If no, then I wouldn't subscribe to it. The alternative is quit the job and set up a private shop where you can control your time and still have something to call a job. In fact, in case of any unfavourable event, you have a higher probability of getting another job in the shortest possible period of time as you will be resigning based on change in marital Status and care for the family. To be candid, you have done great well by not holding any information back, according to you, or trying to paint the situation in an innocence way. To acknowledge that you have wrong and seeing your husband's reaction as normal only that he took it too far, is also good. You also have made a great decision on your next line of action by involving your parent (not family) and that of his. No matter the outcome find peace in your heart not to regret being opened and remember that He would gave you a triplet before the final confirmation is always happy with honest and truthful person. He will surely not withhold you better thing if this situation come end in negatively. With time, prayer, your little efforts, our prayers is that God should sustain and keep this family of your for the prosperity and future of those beautiful and great children He has blessed your family with. Please don't involve (I mean report to) outsider including your religion leaders except the clergy that is involved in joining you together (if exist and available). Your parents and personal prayers to God is so sufficient, I mean more than enough. |
Do they defied the NEC decision? No. The instruction was that any state opting for indirect primaries must do so with majority of the stakeholders for concerned elections in support of it by appending the name and signature to the report they will submit. |
gare:The reasons were well stated in the post. Below is the the extract. ... Experts have blamed the continuous decline in reserves on three factors: increased dollar supply by the CBN to the foreign exchange market, instability in the nation’s securities and exchange market, and the coming general elections in the country. |
seuncoolboy:Why not post the link directly here? |
immaq8:as it stands now, NO. |
While this is a good idea, my fear is that Nigeria is the course leader. Can we give more than our capability and standards in terms of educational development? |
crystalized:Use a desktop/laptop to login, at the top-right conner you will see MY APPLICATION drop-down menu, click and select the last option I guess, MY Slip or something like that. Alternatively, you can switch your mobile browser setting to desktop view. |
ajbf:Have you consider the cost of conducting the primaries in the two instances. For a reminder, taking Presidential primary for example 2014: Indirect primaries with less than 50,000 party delegates. 2018: Direct primaries (proposed) with at least 200,000 party members (this may even be over a million self). |
freshboy88:You can add as many as possible. I was able to add up to four if not five work experience for someone today. |
ifiokjohn:Sowore just like Ribadu has lost the once known glory. He has jettison the main reason I love him (investigative journalism) on the platter of going into politics. Premium Times has taken over the space. I cannot trust him to sustain the course of Nigeria against his self interest. Do you know that the fall of Jonathan started because of his self interest to return for second term? He allowed Boko Haram to flourish because it will favour his reelection, allow corruption to strife because of the same reason, forced Sanusi out of office because of same reason (cashless policy), plunge this country into financial difficulties (recession) because of his reelection bid, compromised our national security because of same reason, we lost hundreds of thousand souls, indirectly, just because of the same reason... I remember vividly my statement on the last election, I said if Jonathan wins... It shows that God is not a justice God and care less about the lost of innocent souls occasioned by Jonathan deliberate inactions. Definitely, Sowore is out of equation because he has abandoned the good work I personally know him for, for politics. |
I think the same question should go to PDP. Though we have few projects/good policies started and completed/implemented by this administration, majority of the projects/policies were abandoned and uncompleted project/policies of previous government. They also claimed that all the projects have been fully paid for by them. The claims which in all sincerity might be true but the reality shows that those fully paid projects were neither done nor up to 50% completed before this administration took over. Just like Lagos-Ibadan and Sagamu-Benin expressway, these roads have been fully paid for by Obasanjo on two occasions and Jonathan on another occasion, but we know there was no work except huge debt on those roads as at the time they left. Same way PDP raised over 300% of the total cost for building their National headquarters and paid fully for it while some contractors claims they still owe them. We know the completion rate of the building as at today. I personally cannot reject the lesser evil (APC) to accept a well established greater evil (PDP). No sensible person should advocate for PDP returns to national and states treasuries. If I must reject APC as it stands now definitely not for PDP and as at now I am yet to see a better alternatives. Maybe before January 2019 better alternative may suffice. |
Seriously, all state governments should retain all qualified Npower Teach volunteers. There is virtually no state without shortage of qualify teachers. |
I am sure Ayelefe knows the truth but playing sympathy game. I have been hearing of this demolition things for over 4 years now, he must have been postponing the evil days because of his condition and connection. |
sholatech:Yes, this may be true but remember there are many girls who escaped during the raid, some escape on way, wandered in the forest before they were seen,... but none was rescued by Nigerian government/army. So during Jonathan time, the rescued girls were through personal efforts of the girls and not government efforts. |
The fact of the matter is the document is not absolutely a classified document but a CONFIDENTIAL document. The report was not written by the Nigeria Police to be made public neither does FoI covers such documents (interim). So logically, that document is a classified document according to Police standards. The journalist MAY liable for making it public (only if the Nigerian Police can proof it cause in the law court). One thing that is very sure is that the officer who released such documents in not protected by law and can be jailed. I think the main issue that Police has with the journalist is not disclosing the officer who gave him access to "classified" police document. If you want to argue further, just take this scenario. Your bank account statement is it a classified document? Is it ethical for someone who have access to it to publish it on mass media? What will the bank do to the staff who gave someone access to it, assuming the statement was released from the bank. In my opinion, the journalist is wrong in this case. They should take a clue from SERAP, they wouldn't make public what hasn't be made official public. Did you know why, police and the Presidency can denied the content of the letter and claimed it was a fabricated letter with the aim of causing political tension and threatened national peace. How will they proof it in the law Court? |
Glowing05:Unfortunately, I don't. |
I think this man is very correct. If I can remember over 40 members of APC were not in the chamber the day Saraki was elected. The same Saraki and his deputy claims that the House rule stated that the 2/3 of members present. He even claim that if those APC senator were present Ekweremadu would not have been DSP. That is karma for you. They 'criminally' change the house rule to favor their selfish ambition, now that same rule will be use to kill the ambition. |
jayfolarin:Nice observation, I have been suspecting that Daura guys since the time of Magu's confirmation with his 2nd letter to Senate on re-presentation of Magu. What many Nigerians do not understand that APC and Presidency will never have done such a thing like this considering the political need of conveying the NASS. Both want the NASS to recall their recess the basis of the meeting today, the only section that will benefit from the meeting not to hold are the PDPs. APC and Presidency were actually happy that the meeting was call to decide recalling NASS members from recess. Saraki and the cohort always playing on the intelligence of Nigerians. |
Last week , the President , Dangote Industries Limited , Aliko Dangote , said he had arranged more than $ 4 . 5 bn in debt financing for his refinery project and aimed to start production in early 2020 .This is a boost to Buhari return. If only we know the extent of Dangote and other REAL/HONEST business moguls influences on election in Nigeria... |
She is wise. Those who knows their relationship with the nPDP now rAPC members or with previous administrations do not need to be told to do the needful. |
Caseless:I hope so, reason why Jega introduced card reader accreditation through THUMB verification only. Thank God the technical knock out of Supreme Court verdict on Rivers' governorship elections has been address legally. Our hope is now on INEC and security agent to make votes represent the casted votes by real registered voters and protect voters respectively. God help and bless Nigeria. |
frowland:SE and SS has always been rigged in favour of PDP. They simply thumb print leftover ballot papers for PDP. For example in a polling booth of 700 registered voters, only 250 are actually resident while about 120 will come out to vote. They will just thumb print over 400 for PDP such that even if all real voters (the 120) voted for another party, PDP will still win with a wide margin. |
Tambawal should learn from Ribadu, he should not vire for Presidential ticket. |
So here is the real reason for defection, but why blaming APC when you vigorously show yourself as a traitor by colluding with opposition to shame a party you want to benefit from. Meanwhile as I always maintained most of these defections are self-centered and not in the interest of Nigerians. Saraki want to become the next Nigeria President with his DSP as VP. “The Federal Government appointed over 200 persons into juicy offices without allotting any slot to me or (Speaker, House of Representatives, Yakubu) Dogara. Everything went to Katsina, Katsina, Lagos, Lagos. If not for the love I have for Nigeria, we would have scattered everything. They don’t want us in their party. They don’t like us in Kwara.I only pity that tonyebarcanista guy because Makarfi will not be GIVEN the PDP presidential ticket. |
It is now easier for Kwara people to vote out the Sarakites - Twitter users |
The investigation has started since 2016 and leaked by EFCC insider in 2018. The governor's case file has been gathering dust since then because of immunity just like Fayose. So The Chief Press Secretary missed the point the allegations is not a PLANNED but a CONCLUDED probe. “A letter of invitation was sent to the State Government. The first letter was sent on July 18, 2016 and reminders were sent but no reply. The last letter was sent to the Permanent Secretary, Bureau of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs on July 9, 2018 but Bako and Andoor are yet to come. The allegations are contained in a report of an investigation which began in 2016 but was made available to our correspondent on Monday. |
rekeson:I don't think there's illegality here, in my opinion the court err in issuing the restraint order according to the impeachment process as outlined in Nigeria constitution but they can upturn an impeachment. |
LilSfc:Seems you have decided to end the relationship yourself. Sometimes mothers feelings are genuine even when they have no evidence/reasons, so I advice you not to ignore her words/feelings but probe further. My advice is for you to engage your mother more on her feelings and reasons against your union with the lady... This is will help you on what and how to engage your girlfriend for clarifications... Take a break for 2-4 days, then at a quiet time revise the engagements, some ignored events/statements...then take your decision and communicate your decisions to the party that your decision is against and move on. Note to suspend any intimacy with your girlfriend (if you have...) during this period because it can affect your sense of reasoning and clear judgement. |
